Yes yes yes!!!! You must visit this place if you get the chance. Everything about it is perfection!
You start by helping yourself to complimentary water and/or hot tea. They also sell beer and wine.
The first course is your choice between veggie or miso soup. I tried both soups and both were perfectly flavorful. (This is coming from someone who adds salt or braggs to mostly everything.)
The second course is a salad with delicious seaweed, fermented cabbage (but not fermented long enough to become sauerkraut), olives (watch out for pits), carrot slaw, and green salad. There was also some kind of pear compote that I'm not familiar with. Watch out! They sneak dried fruit into the green salad!
The third and final course (unless you purchase dessert, but you probably won't have any room left in your tummy) is a large plate with a variety of things. My favorite was cauliflower with a creamy sauce. I also like the adzuki beans, the polenta, and the partial roasted artichoke. I had to take some to go because I couldn't even finish!
Other things that I loved about this place besides the amazing food are the ambiance and the clean bathrooms. Everything about my experience was just lovely. read more
