After inspecting the car, they told me the issue was the fuel filler neck and quoted me about $746 for the repair, even though the part itself costs around $150. The price seemed extremely high for such a repair. What made the situation even worse is that after waiting about a week, the problem still appeared again from the same area. Instead of helping or rechecking the issue properly, they continued to ask for more money. As a customer, this feels very frustrating. A repair that costs a small amount for the part should not suddenly turn into such an expensive job, especially when the problem still isn't fully resolved. I would recommend others to be careful and always get a second opinion before agreeing to repairs here.

I've had nothing but good conversations with Hoss the owner, and his wife. I've known his son, a really good man, for years. Recently I had to have my motor mounts in my car changed. I brought the car in with a half tank of gas. After the work was done Hoss called me to tell me he couldn't take my car for a test drive because the gas tank was empty. I told him, respectfully, that I brought the car in with a half tank of gas. Hoss has some kind of mental break down and said I was accusing him of stealing my gas. He became belligerent and hung up on me. I had an anxiety attack that nearly resulted in my being hospitalizes. Imagine being treated this way by someone you trusted. When it came time to pay the bill I had his son come to my work and pick up the credit card and he paid my bill and returned with my car. The car had a half tank of gas in it. Hoss clearly has some sort of mental imbalance that causes him to attack innocent people for no reason. His son even told me that he wort work with his father because of his mental instability and explosive anger management problems. Do not patronize. The owner has anger management issues and an unstable mentality. Hoss is rude, abusive, childish and quite frankly stupid as a rock. He just ender a relationship with a ten-year loyal customer because he is too stupid to ask questions and is delusional. I never accused him of anything. His head is so far up tail end he has lost touch with reality. I had a major anxiety attack after he flipped out on me and hung up. His own son, Korosh even confirmed that the car had a half tank of gas in is. I had a major anxiety attack and was nearly hospitalized. I had to have his son pay my bill with my credit card and bring my car to me because I feared more hostile emotional abuse from this sick animal. Hoss, thank you for the abuse. Warning, avoid this shop. I went there on April to leave my 1…read moreCar for a clutch replacement. I left them the complete kit with all new parts. I kept calling them every day, and they kept telling me it wasn't ready. After 5 days, I went to the shop in person, and it still wasn't ready, so I told them I wasn't leaving until they fixed it. They finally started working on it, but I had to wait many hours. When they finally replaced the clutch, I asked the shop owner to test-drive the vehicle to make sure everything was fine, and I handed him the key. I immediately noticed he looked annoyed. He started driving while keeping the clutch pressed about a quarter of the way down. With a brand-new clutch, new pressure plate, new flywheel, new master cylinder, and a freshly bled line, that is not good. The clutch is hydraulic and responds immediately. I didn't say anything during the drive, but he was driving around 30 to 35 mph on the streets near the shop. When we got back, I told him he had been riding the clutch the whole way. He said nothing was wrong. At that moment, smoke started coming out from under the vehicle. I opened the hood and saw smoke coming from the transmission, and it smelled like a burnt clutch. He said that was a normal part of the process and that all clutches smoke when they are replaced. He said there was nothing to do. Very disappointed, I took my vehicle and left. I drove a couple of blocks, then had to turn back because they had forgotten to reconnect the rear differential. The vehicle was only moving with the front wheels, and the owner had been driving it that way with 4x4 engaged. At 30-35 miles per hour is not good for the differentials or the clutch. I returned to the shop and demanded they fix it. They did, and I only asked whether they were sure everything was okay so I wouldn't have to come back again. Then they started my vehicle, revved it, and did reverse burnouts to show me the rear differential was connected. That was very rude and I did not like it. That is why I say to avoid this shop. They are not professional. Honestly, I also had some extra parts there that I had bought, and when I left the shop they were gone. They were clutch-related parts I had bought as extras. I can't say for sure that they took them, but they disappeared while the vehicle was in their shop and on their property. If you think it ended there, let me tell you it is getting worse. About 9 or 10 weeks after going through such a terrible experience at that shop, Energy Transmissions, my clutch started having trouble getting up hills. I also have trouble getting onto the freeway. I do not drive off-road; I only drive on the road.I use it every day for my daily trips. The issue is that the clutch no longer disengages where it should at the lower part of the pedal travel. When you press the pedal, it should disengage lower down, but now it disengages very high. I have to buy another clutch and pay labor again at a professional shop. Next time I will be much more careful. I'm making this warning so people do not fall for it blindly. If someone reads this review before deciding to go to that place, I hope they take it into consideration. Sorry if I said anything inappropriate; what is happening to me is very frustrating. My apologies if I didn't use the exact right words, but basically I'm trying to tell people to avoid that shop so they don't end up having a bad time, a bad month, and an expensive bad experience Please avoid this shop.

In FEB of 2025. They were supposed to provide a "Major 10K/One (1) year maintenance" per Volkswagen requirements, and with just a little over 700 miles, after service date, I receive not one (1), but two (2) check engine lights, and my vehicle's engine idles rough, and the smell of exhaust excessive! After FEB, check engine lights received in APR, and again in MAY. My experience with Rodriquez, via his unprofessional phone manner, will keep me totally away from this shop completely! Never has this engine situation occurred since owning the vehicle of AUG 2019. I paid $807 for this major service, which should have included a "multi point inspection", and didn't. I will have to pursue a "complaint/small claims suit" against this business, as it's now managed very poorly, and not reflective, of the former owner's name "Ray Brock, or his late wife Joyce".
