As others have said, if I could give this company less than 1 star I would. My dog was originally insured with Purina Care and they were GREAT. Hardly any wait time for the checks, great customer service. But then about 2 years ago, without my prior knowledge, Purina Care sells out to this outfit! I have NEVER run across any business like this. They stall and stall and stall with reimbursement. They used to say when they called to acknowledge that they had received the claim it would be 10-15 days. Now when they call they say 20-25 days. That's a joke! I have been waiting since February for a check. I have 4 pending right now that are at least 2 months old! They have also been calling my vet continuously asking stupid questions and asking if I had actually paid him!!! Seriously? If I didn't pay the premium on time you can bet they would be hounding me continually. I will say that there is one good customer service person there-Mario Argueta. He is very good, very helpful and awfully nice. The rest that I have talked to not so much. I would definitely NOT recommend this company to anyone. I don't have the insurance, but like all the other reviews on the microchip, they wanted a $21 renewal fee to update my contact info. After TEN years! I declined, and re-registered the microchip# with another service, who charged me $17.50 for the new enrollment, but that was a ONE time fee, and included a new tag with the same microchip# and phone# for the new company. Don't even bother registering with them, go with a different company! read more

My dog was in the hospital and the bill was over $2000. 24Pet Watch has managed every way to avoid paying a valid claim. 1st attempt: Lack of blank page 2nd attempt: Required zero balance, itemized invoice from clinic - refused zero balance, itemized accounting because it said statement at the top of the page. Waited over an hour on hold, customer service rep 1 refused to answer questions when I proved it met their requirements and hung up on me. Customer service rep 2 (after another hour hold) told me I was wrong but the company would accepted it this ONE time as a kindness to me. Wrong word for their behavior. 3rd attempt: requested all my dogs medical records from the clinic and when I waited for another hour on hold the CS reps refused to explain or let me speak to anyone else. Additionally, they have lost two other claims I have proof they received now they claim they don't have. Save your money. Save your time. They will are certainly looking to keep your cash. read more

Scam in process! Do not purchase pet insurance from this company--it is a scam! I'm very sorry I didn't research this company before purchasing the pet insurance. I trusted what the local Humane Society endorsed and now I regret it. They religiously collect their monthly payment but when you send in a claim they have no intention of reimbursing you. I had vet bill of almost $1,200 thinking I would be reimbursed and after submitting the claim 5 times because of denials they still will not accept the claim. I faxed claims 6 times and received confirmation and each time I called to follow up and they said they never received the fax. Then I emailed -- finally they received it but to no avail. 5 times so far denied. The denial states missing records but they will not tell you what records are missing. Unbelievable!!!!!!!!! I've sent copies of everything the vet has and still they say I'm missing records. When you call you are on hold for a very long time and you have to connect with different departments because "claim follow up is not even an option!" I took a copy of all the records to the local humane society and told them this company is a scam and they should not be endorsing 24PetWatch. I printed many of the reviews from other dissatisfied customers and they couldn't believe it. So now the executive director of the humane society is trying to work with this insurance company--maybe she'll have better luck. I doubt it! I suppose when the 90 days are up they will just say, "oh too bad" I'll try contacting the Better Business Bureau and the Insurance Commissioner next. We had three animals covered with 24PetWatch insurance for several years. One of the cats was then diagnosed with early kidney disease and we called to see if any charges for that would be covered (the coverage explanation is a bit complicated). We were told, no, but when his current coverage expired in two months, to have the kidney disease covered for him, we needed to upgrade his policy. My concern was if we did that, under the upgraded policy that his kidney disease would then be considered a pre-existing condition. I was assured that was not the case and that he would be covered, so we upgraded. I should have gotten that in writing! It was not covered under the upgraded policy. Now with Figo pet insurance which I highly recommend. Bottom line is a 24PetWatch representative lied to me over the phone to make a sale. read more

This was a huge change for when I registered my 3 many years ago and you were allowed to at least do that for free. Do not sign up to these guys. It is funny that there are so many of us that did not receive details on the new monthly fees which are 'triple the original fees. How can a company auto renew a policy at triple the cost and not notify you? They claim it is due to having new under writers. Then get us to 'approve' a new fee and not just auto renew. When my dog died I tried to call and cancel the policy. Easy? no. I was repeated put on hold, then after half and hour I spoke with someone who refused to cancel the policy without an email address. Asked to talk to a supervisor and was sent back to hold land for another 15 minutes. I have never been more disappointed in an insurance company before. Long story short, this company has lied to me, has taken forever to process claims, and has treated me like I do not know anything. They also constantly blame the postal service for delays in receiving cheques. Which is funny, I have mailed, and had letters mailed to me, across the country in 2 days. I had 2 cats on coverage from this company for 10 years now. I had 1 claim 2 years into my coverage for my cat that was shot with a pellet gun. Claim totaled to approx 650.00. It was paid in full, no questions, within 2 weeks. October 2013 rolls around, my cat gets VERY sick. I take her in, have some tests run, and discover she is Diabetic. The diabetes caused pancreatitis, which then caused a pancreatic cyst to grow, the size of my pinky finger. I put in a claim, which totaled to just over 2000.00, including the surgery to remove the cyst. Petcare denied 2/3 of the claim, stating my coverage did not cover what was done, even though the paper work clearly states "diabetes" is covered. I have to wait everytime I call for a minimum of 20 minutes to even have a chance to speak with someone. Most of the time the reps are completely unhelpful. I have also discovered my vet (who is highly respected in my area, as one of the BEST) has a policy to NEVER EVEN SPEAK TO THESE PEOPLE!! I have also discovered a different company who will not only accept my cat with diabetes, but will also cover anything to do with it, even though the condition would be considered pre-existing in their eyes. Don't fall for their fee scam!!!! I called today to update my address after moving and ran into the same problem as many others where they try to charge you $21.95/year or $51.95 lifetime (with same owner) to update your info. It felt like a high pressure sales scam, so I told the woman that I would have to think about it and asked if I could pay online if I decided to do it. She said yes and sent me an email with my login info since I had never logged in before. When I logged in I was able to update my address, phone number, and various other things like upload a pic of my dog, change my emergency contact, etc. All for free. There were fields that you couldn't edit like the owner name, but everything else was editable. Some of the fields you had to just type over what was there, and some you had to hit the x to delete what was there and enter the new info. I don't like being lied to by companies and this one lies trying to get more money out of you, when you CAN update your info for FREE! read more

Very disappointed and should have gone with Home Again! Insurance papers were difficult for me to understand, and even my veterinary office had trouble, so I called from my vets office to get answers to my questions and was put on hold for 20 minutes. While on hold, I opted for someone to call me back and this was 3 days ago! Still have not heard from anyone. I then decided to go onto their website thinking I'd have better luck there, however there's no email address, just an address to mail things. There's the option to tweet or talk live with someone, however when I tried to talk to communicate via instant message I again got NO RESPONSE! My husband and I have both called today requesting a refund for a "maintenance plan" that does not do anything but take your money. No one will help us. When online it says "Annual Plan for Dogs $21.95" yet they charged us $43.90. We did not confirm this amount prior to it going through. We assumed it was $21.95 for all dogs on the account. We feel this is bad business and want the entire transaction voided. I would like to also say that we did not want the maintenance plan at all but the site will not let you update your home address without paying for it. It is a scam to charge $43.90 just to be able to update your profile information. You call it a "maintenance plan" but you are just taking money for people for no reason. There is no service that you are providing. We paid for our dog's to have chips when they were installed so that they could be easily found if lost, that's it. Never were we told about having to pay more money to update your information if you ever move or change #'s. read more

I have had 24 hour Pet Watch for our Shar-Pei / Lab-mix dog for 18 months now ever since we adopted him from a rescue group. I was a bit reluctant to continue the policy but am very grateful I did. The worst I can say about this company is that when calling in, expect to be put on hold for some time and the claims process can be a bit slow. However most importantly, we were paid. Actually I have received more in claims reimbursements than what I have paid in as our dog has had some skin and stomach issues. Fortunately our emergency vet visits have been tapering off. If you make sure you know what your policy covers and you file your claims correctly, you will be fine. read more

24 Hour PetWatch is horrible! I have been with them since they were PetCare. Their customer service his horrible, the people are not useful, they do not communicate properly and they take forever to process claims. I have a dog who has osteosarcoma and has been getting treatment every month for 11 months. This month, they told me they couldn't process an outstanding claim from a month ago because as of March 28, they now require that a medical history be sent with each claim - despite the fact that i have submitted a claim every month for my dog and the claim was submitted March 30th for services from March 22. Additionally, as a result of me submitting claims each month, my premium also went up 90% when it came time to renewing- it is at the point where it almost isn't even worth it to submit the claims. I don't usually write reviewed but I believe this company is exploiting its customers and making bad situations worse and want to prevent other people from these same experiences. read more

In the process of going through old paper files of one of my pet cats, I discovered one of them had a microchip registered with 24PetWatch originally from the rescue agency we adopted her from. I had forgotten to register her microchip number with our current contact information, so I called 24PetWatch to do this on their website. The man I spoke to on the phone could not have been more focused on just making a sale for an annual membership, rather than offering me any assistance in updating her information. According to him, not only would I not be able to update my cat's contact information and the breed type (which had been entered in there wrong by the adoption agency who had her microchipped), but this customer service rep told me he would not even be able to take my updated contact information over the phone so at least my cat's correct address, phone number, email, and correct breed were showing in their database! He then told me, "You're not really worried about the cat's breed, are you? If your cat is lost, you will have a 2 hour delay before you could gain access to our database to see any of her information unless you pay for our annual service!" He said this twice to me too even though I told him I couldn't afford to update it now. I asked him if he could update my cat's information for me just so it was all up to date in their database since I couldn't afford their annual fee to be able to do it myself. He said it was a paid service!?! I told him how shocked I was that 24PetWatch would be so manipulative and behave in an opposite way than the intended purpose of their company, which is supposed to be to help pets! I also told him that while I could understand if I did not pay their $29.95/annual fee that I would not be entitled to all the services of lost pet alerts being sent out, etc., I would at the very minimum expect that at least my cat's contact information should be maintained as current by the company whether they did it with me over the phone, or they granted me the ability to do it via their website. He then offered reluctantly as if he were doing me a tremendous favor that he would update my cat's contact information (not correct her breed that was entered by either 24PetWatch or the Adoption Agency incorrectly originally). But he said it with such an attitude that I told him not to bother! Instead, I called my vet to make arrangements to have a new microchip put in my cat from a more reputable company: HomeAgain. That's when my vet told me 24PetWatch's microchips are NOT guaranteed to NOT MIGRATE ELSEWHERE IN YOUR CAT! My cat's 24PetWatch microchip indeed had been lost somewhere inside my cat! My vet confirmed their records that a new microchip had already been placed in my cat using HomeAgain. HomeAgain WILL let you update your pet's contact information any time you wish AT NO FEE on their website/database! I will be writing a great review for HomeAgain, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NEVER USING 24PETWATCH because all they care about is taking your money!.....not ensuring their clients' pets' information is correct and accurate in their database! read more

This company is the worst!! I adopted my dog from a humane society and she came with a microchip from 24 Petwatch. I have since renewed my annual membership only to find out they will not allow me to edit any of my contact information without paying $100 for the lifetime membership. I emailed the company with no response, called them twice and was was hung up on both times, I'm assuming because I only wanted renewal of the annual membership. The person I spoke with at 24 Petwatch told me the 29$ charge on my visa for the annual membership actually didn't go through when it actually did, and tried to get me to pay another 75$ for the lifetime. This company is sketchy and fraudulent. I've been reading through reviews where people have had the same issues with them. My other dog has a microchip with Home Again and I have had no issues updating info and making contact with that company. I called the humane society I got my dog from to let them know about this issue with 24 Pet Watch and urged them to look into using another company and check into some of these consumer reviews detailing the same issues I have had with this company. I am looking into making a complaint with the Better Business Bureau also and will make sure I spread the word not to use this company. They say word of a bad reputation spreads faster than good......so this company is in big trouble!!! Do not use this microchip company, I recommend not updating your membership as it's a scam !!!! Adopted a dog that came with all the required transfer of ownership documents. Their site says the transfer is free. Nope. The email addresses they gave me to send my documents are both bogus and there is no email contact info on the website. I'll have to have the vet remove this chip as it won't help him at all if he's scanned. Will get a chip from a reputable company. Updated to say: Found contact info on another forum and called them. Did EVERYTHING they said to do in order to transfer ownership via a rescue. (Sent adoption papers, surrender papers, vet papers) Never heard from them again. read more

Recently adopted 2 dogs from rescue, 30day complimentary coverage from Trupanion and 24hr Pet Watch. Received email stating payment had been declined, please update records. We responded with statement to cancel all policies. signed by myself and my partner. My partner received a call today from Customer Service stating that record only listed 1 person as owner of record, and that person would need to call in and get cancellation confirmation number. My partner who is listed owner of other dog, stated the email should serve as confirmation of cancellation. She stated no, and began to argue with him about payment, etc. He stated the c/card authorization had been cancelled, that should satisfy the additional phone call needed. She again started arguing about correct payment information. No claims were filed. Please take heed to this warning about their methods and horrible customer service. read more

I think this company is nothing but a scam. My hound was adopted in 2011 from a shelter and already microchipped by 24petwatch . We paid a fee at the shelter to get the registration changed, but at his first vet visit he was still registered to the previous owner and I had to send in every document I possessed three times and eventually pay again to get it resolved. This month I happened to log in just to check and not only was he missing from my profile again, but so was my other dog that has had no previous owners. When I contacted the company, I had to send in all my documents for a fourth time, but they said they would fix it. Today I get a phone call and they wanted $60.00 per pet to correct their own mistake, even though my dogs have been unprotected for almost two years. Its unbelievable! I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and requested the company to pay for my dogs to be re-chipped with PetLink. I doubt I'll get it but at least I did my part to warn others before they loose any chance of recovering their pets. read more

They've continuously lost documents and haven't paid claims, stating that the documents were never sent. They have about 3 sub-companies that you have to go through for any number of things. Their customer service line is just a claims adjuster who has no information outside of what your claim is. Ok. Submitted claim June 19, called a week later, June 26 waited on hold for 1/2 hour. Finally got a human who told me to call back 20 days after submission of form. I call back 20 days later, on July 9, wait another 1/2 hour, finally the human tells me...you need to wait 20 Business Days, that would be July 23. When I realize today that it's been a month since submission I call yet again, again I get the wait time. Find out that they finished the claim, only gave me the minimum amount, I could no longer negotiate since the claim is completed. WTF??! The little Canadian kid on the other end tells that had I told them sooner they could have negotiated...HOW THE H#@L could I have told them sooner when they wouldn't even talk to me??? Stay away from 24PetWatch insurance!!! You will wait, and wait, and wait for your claim to be processed. They will look for any reason to not pay you. If you submit additional documents as requested, they will find something else. They won't bother to tell you that there's anything wrong with your claim, either. You have to call them (with long wait times) to find out why it's taken so long. They keep moving the goal post. Why bother to have pet health insurance if the insurer's business model is to do whatever it takes to not pay your claim. And if they have everything they need, they will still take months to pay your claim. Yet I pay on time every month. I began with PurinaCare, which paid claims in 3-4 weeks without hassles and no long call center wait times. Unfortunately, Purina sold it to 24PetWatch. On the 59th day after my claim was submitted, I received notice that my claim was denied based on a bogus rejection of "no longer considered a First Time Illness." I had no other choice but to call them AGAIN. After waiting for 30 minutes to speak to a representative, to remind the representative that I have the QuickCare Gold policy that should pay for my claim. (My policy is no longer offered at 24 Pet Watch because they don't make any money off of the clients from this type of policy. In years past, 24 Pet Watch have made a few attempts to persuade me to switch my policy, but I always say no because I know my policy is good, for which I also pay $120/month for the premium.) The rep on the phone initially didn't want to hear me out and quickly said I needed to fill out an appeals form. I then responded by saying that I shouldn't have to appeal if contractually 24 Pet Watch is obligated to reimburse me. (Let's just say my profession allows me to understand legal terms and conditions!!) He eventually said I was correct, it was an error on their side and that I don't need to do file an appeals form and that he'll work with his Manager to get this corrected. About a week later, I get a call from them, but no message. So, I called them to find out why the call was made with no message and to follow up on my claim. This other rep then said that I needed to fill out a reassessment form!! IT WAS INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING. I then asked how long it would take, and he said it would take another 30 to 60 days!!! UNBELIEVEABLE! He also said that if 24 Pet Watch denied me again, I should ask to have it expedited because it would be my 2nd attempt at the appeals process. Can you believe this??! So, I had no other choice but to file this appeal for them to even look at my claim since it was deemed denied. I filed that appeal nearly 30 days ago. I have to wait another 30 more days to find out the result whether 24 Pet Watch will pay for the claim. So far, it's about 90 days since I filed the claim. It seems to me that this is 24 Pet Watch's M.O. to deny claims and hope that customers don't take the time to refute the claim. They definitely make it hard to get clear answers. I have paid 24 Pet Watch over $14,000 in premiums since I have had this policy, and they are giving me so much grief to reimburse me on my dog's surgery that cost 1/10th of that premium amount. 24 Pet Watch's response to my original review regarding its online portal is laughable. When I spoke to one of their reps, the rep said to email the claim and not trust the online portal because they are having computer glitches. Further, 24 Pet Watch can't analyze your claim unless you have your vet's fax number. Even though they can look up your policy, they cannot open the claim unless they have the fax number. It seems very silly to me that they can't answer any questions about your claim without this even if they can locate your policy. I have been a longtime client of 24 Pet Watch, and I am only with 24 Pet Watch because it is too expensive to switch my senior dog to another pet insurance carrier. I am only writing this review so that others will not make the mistake that I have made. In one more month, and if I am still not reimbursed with 24 Pet Watch, I will be bringing this to my state's insurance commissioner's office for 24 Pet Watch's misrepresentation and abuse of failing to comply with its contractual obligations. I needed to update her information and I couldn't because I have to buy a membership to update my phone number. That's all I want to do is update her phone number. ** Updated review-Summer 2017 the premiums on our policies were set to renew at about FOUR TIMES the original price :( They said they were undercharging & were now priced "correctly"... We had to cancel coverage on 1 dog, greatly reduce coverage on another & then kept 1 the same, but we pay dearly for it. This dog has a disease and we must keep the pricey coverage on her ** Original review- I came to be with this company when Purina Pet Insurance sold off the 24PetWatch. Our dog has DDD and has had 5 IVDD surgeries which has cost @ 25-30k total. Thankfully we already had this insurance in place, because they have paid for every single surgery, minus the deductible and co-insurance. BUT how it works is, we pay the upfront costs & they reimburse us. And getting reimbursed takes a LONG time (@ 2 mos.) and getting in touch with them for claim payment status during the claim review process is difficult ... long wait times, no callbacks as promised, etc. So the good? They have paid us. The bad? LONG claim review process & customer service is lacking, to say the least. I'd go elsewhere due to "the bad" but 2 of our 3 dogs are uninsurable at this point, so we are stuck. read more

They delay the process and make the pet owner go through red tape because they always deny the first claim. Please do not use them for your pet insurance needs. We adopted Uno (at time of adoption aka: Two Tone) on March 1, 2014. He went for a check up on the following few days, and he had a cold. He was given a medicine at VCA that made him sick, and had seizures. We bear with the seizures and thought we might have to put him to sleep. He was incredible strong, and believe it or not survived. He is still part of our family and has been worth it. Atlanta Humane Society gave us two weeks of insurance for free, and now 24PetWatch says that this insurance does not cover any of his treatment. While going through this transition, I decided to sign up and get him coverage without knowing all of this. Now, we are responsible for the debt that this insurance company claims they cover and DON'T. Do not get this insurance company, they are crooks and worthless. My experience has been very undesirable and the poor customer service on the claims department is ridiculous. I had to call a month after submitting to find out the status, and was met with this negative experience. I highly recommend not use this company at all. read more

I just recently adopted a dog and I noticed he had this chip in him and I m not going to register it . my other two dogs are registered with home again and would love to have this adopted one with them too but cant unfortunately . this business sounds like a call room and the lady on the other end pushed to get my paperwork and a payment . I had to hang up on her and told I did not think I would ever use this company and after seeing the reviews on other website all I can say is never , ever , ever would I use this company . Whoever is in charge of this company needs a brain transplant because your fees are ridiculous and when an animal control officer cannot get the info from this company that is a big red flag to me . 1 star is being generous - useless and corrupt. My cat was diagnosed with lymphoma; I claimed the cost of his ultrasound, diagnostic analysis and first round of treatment. My claim was rejected due to "insufficient medical records" even though my primary veterinarian sent over his entire medical records (120 PAGES) via e-mail October 30th (and forwarded me the e-mail for confirmation). I submitted a re-assessment form as per their policy, with all documents myself - received an e-mail that attachments are too large. I compressed them into a ZIP folder - still too large. Every aspect of this company is designed to work against the owner and their pet. I regret switching over from Trupanion; I'll be cancelling all three of my policies ASAP. read more

I am a veterinarian who was completely mislead by this company. I was told my customers would NEVER have to pay an annual fee. Obviously, this was changed. Now how do I take the chip out? This seems criminal. On top of it, I have had so many customers complain about their information being in-putted into the company's data base incorrectly, being unable to correct the information easily themselves, and being unable to get a person on the phone, that I gave the company a call, as a regular customer today. Unfortunately, my customers were correct. This company had my own dog's information incorrect. I had checked it back in 2010 when I first registered my dog. Some time between then and now the information was changed. The company told me due to "some changes" in their website. My name was mis-spelled, the company un-checked the box that I had checked indicating I would release my contact information to ANYBODY who found my dog, to "private", meaning the company would not do this. The company had also conveniently checked the box previously unchecked that indicated I would like to receive junk mail from them. This company seems to have no interest in getting lost pets home. What they really want is for your to buy their pet insurance. Which is a whole other ethical dilemma; If the insurance company is making a profit, and the vet is making a profit, how in the world does the pet owner benefit, really? read more

My pet was given a 24Petwatch microchip before we adopted her. I called to update my address and was told there was a fee to do so, I informed the agent that there is another service I use (for a different pet) that does not charge a fee to update information. The agent then tried to sway me stating that they are open 24/7, etc.and that the fee they collect helps them stay open those hours. However, I will be switching to the other service for this pet so that I can guarantee my information is always up to date without having to pay a fee to do so. read more

My son adopted a rescue puppy and registered his chip with 24PetWatch. 19 months later, someone forged my sons signature on an ownership transfer form. 24PetWatch did not contact my son or make any attempt to verify his signature basically allowing another individual to steal ownership. 8 months after the fradulent transfer of ownership my son passed away and we discovered the transfer had occured. 24PetWatch confirms my son was original registered owner but will not void the illicit transfer request - even though we can prove my son did not consent to the transfer saying they do not "get involved in ownership disputes." 24Petwatch did not do their due diligence and allowed ownership of a pet to be illegally and fraudulently transferred from a dogs true owner. Do you think you want to do business with a company that claims to reunite owners with their pets but instead allows their chip registration to be carelessly transferred to other people? read more

What a Joke. My Dog was already chipped w 24petwatch and that lifetime was paid by original owner. I then adopted him from the shelter next county over that he was moved to from the other shelter he was surrendered to by original owner. It took months after submitting papers for it to show up as my dog. They give you a years free service if you adopted your animal from a Shelter, but then require you to pay another lifetime fee after the first year if you wish to continue to have basic services acknowleding your pet for you even though they have already been paid for a lifetime service on that Animal.. even this I didn't scoff at entirely..it's like 64$ and I get a free first year. But once I finally had him recognized as mine w the service I begin getting my account notices which list his color as Black!!?? when he is a mostly white tricolor and I have never submitted form info that he was a black colored dog. They have no record of him being transferred to me by the shelter I got him from despite having already accepted my change of ownership form which clearly lists it and months later having by now received direct notice from my shelter of his ownership transfer. I do still have the free years service but the agent tries to threat sell you and that they cannot guarantee that a lifetime service membership will be available in a year but it is now.. otherwise it's a 21$annual fee. What a crock! um I'm sorry but if it were an option when I transferred then I have that option when it's a year past after the promotion period given to me for which you have already collected on this animal from another owner. Reviewing this sham of a company again. If I could give negative stars, I would. If you're researching for competent, professional pet insurance programs that actually reimburse you for valid claims, communicate with you, and treat you fairly - RUN AWAY. 24 PetWatch is the worst. Aside from having to spend hours on the phone researching the status of my claims, have my vet fax medical records 3-6 times per claim (because they 'never received the records' to complete the claims), and the 2+month wait time for reimbursement, the customer service is terrible, the time to speak with people is over 15 minutes per call, they constantly try to place blame on the customer. These problems have been ongoing and gotten worse since 24 PetWatch took over PurinaCare (which was actually a decent insurance company). The empty promises of 'We're working on it. We're so sorry" are just that - empty promises and routine answers. I don't blame their staff for the high turnover rate (which apparently is another reason for the slow claims processing times)- I wouldn't want to work with such an awful, incompetent company either. Moral of the story, look elsewhere if you don't want the constant headache of an insurance company that's hoping you just get tired of spending hours of follow-up for claims payment so they don't have to pay out anything. I would love to cancel my insurance policy. The only problem is I'm basically a hostage to them while my sweet 4 year-old great dane is still on this earth. Because of his many medical issues that wouldn't be covered because they'd be considered pre-existing on new policies, I can't leave them. But let me tell you, if I could, I would in a heartbeat. Lukasz, please don't even bother responding unless it's with some genuinely helpful information. I'm really not up for the empty apologies. Actions speak louder than Words, my friend. read more
