I brought my grandsons to Trim because it was closer to my home then other barbers shops that cut exclusively black peoples hair and I was pleasantly impressed with the expertise of these barbers if I wanted a different trim they followed my instructions to the letter. I was in Wilson last year from Texas and needed a haircut. ( a flattop ) Well I asked around and was told to try Airport Barbershop. Andy gave me one of the best flattops and shaves ever. I travel a lot and frequent different shops and can say without question that if you are looking for a traditional shop with exceptional service and are near Wilson NC, this is your place. Not sure what the other Reviewer experienced, but I as a regular for close to 10 years, not from the South, Scott and his partners are the most friendly easy going guys I have met when it comes to barbers...and there are some pretentious ones out there. Not being a regular doesn't stop them from cutting hair, all people, all colors, all genders. It's a business, they would be glad to give a hair cut and take your money. Super experience! I drove by looking to get a haircut and saw the sign for $15 haircuts and I decided to walk him. The waiting time was minimal and the professionalism of the barber was very good! I have gotten my haircut twice at Airport Barbershop. The first time was fine. The second time was the absolute worst haircut in my life. Either I somehow pissed the barber off to deserve this or he simply has little skill. Uneven doesn't even begin to describe it, he gave me two bald spots, and to top it all off he somehow managed to shave off half of my eyebrow. Simply amazing. It would had been easier to just walk in and say "destroy me." read more
