Positive Great service. Effective and efficient. Great attitude. Personable and professional. Negative (my novice opinion) I wasn't expecting to pay $120 for the service (open locked mailbox - I had lost my key, so was locked out). However, in my case it was urgent and necessary. Again, "great service experience". read more

Worse company ever!!! Do not use them!!! They lie about prices and overcharged us multiple times. Hope someone can report them to BBB for fraud. read more

SCAM AND COMPLETE RIP OFF - they charged me $150 to unlock my Van, the website and google search say $19.95 but it is in very small print at the bottom of the website that it's only for child emergencies. take the extra 10 seconds and call ANYONE other than these people. Their ad is so very missleading. The $19.95 in large type is a large part of their Logo. The young man who opened my van never once told me he was going to charge me $150 for his service. He took my credit card and ran it. He then handed it back and I walked back to my van. I then had a bad feeling and walked back and ask how much I was being charged. Only then did he tell me the cost was $150. It is said that when you get good service you will tell a few friends. However, when you get screwed you will stop anyone you meet and tell them. I am telling everyone I meet. I would sooner breakout a window than call or recommend this company. read more

The locksmith was really nice and got to my car super quick. He had me unlocked in about 10 seconds and had me on my way in 1 minute. Was well worth it for the time it took to complete the process. I will say that the rate was a bit high compared to many locksmiths in the area. The estimate given on the phone was 80, but it was 155 overall. Highly recommend if you ever get locked out otherwise. Worker was super nice. read more

0 stars is whats appropriate for this company. While the employee was nice and fast, i was charged 95 dollars even though their website says starts as low as $19.95 which is shiesty advertising. Super unimpressed with the customer service i recieved when i phoned to talk about the price. Will be blasting them on social media tonight. read more

I appreciated the quick service but one star because the pricing was 100% misleading. I called and was told that it would be $35 ($20 fee + $15 fee). Instead, we were charged $75. I am not upset about the amount; I would be fine with the amount had the company been clear about the pricing. When I called to dispute the $40 difference, the woman said that I was told $35 was the minimum and that the final cost depended on the time of day, difficulty of lock (mine took less than a minute), and it was ultimately up to the technician how much each service would cost. I was never told a "minimum" of $35 and none of the other pricing details were explained to me when I scheduled the service. The woman was rude and argumentative instead of trying to remedy the situation. Again, the service was effective - but they need to be more clear about the pricing. I was misquoted and felt very mislead. read more

They were super quick and the guy was really nice. $60 seemed a little steep but I appreciate that they were so fast to respond.

Rating is -15 stars. After trying to unlock my car with pretty much a coat hanger he finally used a magnet that unlocked it in 2 seconds. Of course the longer he was there the greater the charge. OVERCHARGE!!! Never use this company read more

AMAZING SERVICE! Ask for Ben! He gets things done quick and cheep, now prices do vary but this is the best company in town

This is the WORST company. It takes then over 45 minutes to get to you. On their website they advertise $19.95 child emergency and dont stand by it. My kids were locked in my car with the heater on in the winter and they charged me $250. I called and asked for corporates number and the receptionist cussed me out yelled and said there is no corporate and blocked my phone number. After searching I found corporates email and phone number and "the owner" acts like it's no big deal that they false advertise. read more

My son was locked out of his car on his way to work. I chose this company because it said as low as 19.95, but afterwards they charged me $100 and claimed that my insurance would reimburse me. This is complete false advertisement! They charged me five times the cost that they have advertised on their website!! After reading other reviews, I guess I was lucky they didn't charge me more!! Absolutely ridiculous!! They need to be reported to BBB for false advertisement! read more

I would like to put out there that 24 Hr Lockouts is definitely a good outfit. My experience was hassle free, quick and easy, from dispatch to locksmith. Mine came directly from much farther than what I expected, but in a timely manner considering the distance. He was professional, clean, quick, and personable. It saved me so much more frustration after trying to get into my truck to retrieve my keys myself for over an hour. If you need an experienced locksmith service, this company should be your first choice! And you can't beat their prices. Call them FIRST! You'll be glad you did. read more

So I get it their price is misleading on the website, but also anytime you're going to a locksmith, it's going to be expensive for not that much work. I've locked myself out too many times to know . They were nice, professional, and fast; arriving within the estimated wait. I'd call them again if I needed to. read more

SCAM! I wish I would have checked here first before calling these pros! $195 to open a house on a Tuesday at noon. Maybe it was because they were at lunch? ....and don't bother posting your pricing policy or giving me a discount! I would never use you or recommend you to anyone ever! I've read it 6 times now and I can't find $195 anywhere!! They will not purposely inform you of how much it will cost so they can charge you an insanely amount of money at the job site and use the disclaimer against you because you didn't read the fine print first. Great way to run a business!! read more

I find it very interesting that the only two 5-star reviews were by two guys that happen to have the same names as the two technicians on the website. My experience was ok. Jordan was helpful and got the job done quickly after arrival. Unfortunately, I had to wait for nearly an hour (50 minutes to be exact) for his arrival. He said he was busy with a home lock out or something. Seams to me they need more technicians. My charge for vehicle lock out service was $60. Considerably lower than other reviews on here, however, a bit higher than I expected. Searching high and low on the company website (the next day) I did find that they recommend that you get an estimate of your charges from the dispatch personnel, otherwise the technician can charge whatever he feels like. read more

MUST READ BEFORE GIVING YOUR MONEY TO THIS COMPANY.I genuinely do not even know where to begin. First I called the "company" and the lady on the phone said it would be 35$. Lie. The guy tried to charge me over 100$ and changed the price 2 different times. Then after he unlocked my car my drivers side door had a huge gap in it and does not close right. After contacting them about this the same lady "dispatcher" was extremely unprofessional you can hear kids screaming in the background and her attitude was disgusting. Don't bother calling the corporate number they have listed it'll send you to the same bitter lady oh yeah and the email they have listed as well. Refused to fix my door or give me an insurance company name THERE ARE MUCH BETTER AND CHEAPER COMPANIES THAT WILL HELP YOU. Avoid this one. Lawyers will be in touch. They like to respond to bad reviews saying its a competitor, trust me this review is real. read more

GET A QUOTE FIRST!! I was told someone should be at my house in 15-30 min, but took over 45. Took the employee another 45 to get my door unlocked (it was a basic lock, no deadbolt). He didn't even ask for verification that I owned or rented the home, which I thought was odd. I guess they don't care as long as they're getting paid. Next time I will just break out a window...at least the $150 would go towards a needed replacement. Ridiculous. FYI: They don't take checks, either. read more

Just had a locksmith out to get me back into my house. Took all of 2 minutes. Called initially to schedule was quoted a minimum of $35. Okay fine. Was not quoted after hours charges when I called around 6pm. Was also not told the technicians set their own rates. Ended up paying $140. Called back spoke with a lady named Kimberly who got aggressive when I asked about why I wasn't told about after hours pricing or that the technicians set their own rate. Was provided with an email address to speak to management because apparently managers don't talk on the phone to customers. Made an already bad night even worse. Thank you 24 Lockout! read more

I wish there were a 0 because this company does not even deserve a 1. After reading the other reviews, I was charged the most of the above reviews at $195 to open my front door. Like the others, he did not offer me an estimate. Because my phone was inside the house, I asked my neighbor to call a locksmith. She found the $19.95 in the logo and called them. Like so many before me, I would rather break a window than ever hire this man's company. read more

Yes complete scam they lure you in with the $19.95 ask what type of vehicle and tell you it will be 15 to 30 min. Well they made good time but I had to tell him were the electric door lock was on the inside and which direction to push it to unlock. He used an air bad and stiff bar that likely cost the 19.95 referral price to unlock it and charged a hundred dollars. If I used a credit card it woulda cost me 150! They don't tell you anything in price when you call them and they fudge on the estimate then drop the bomb when they finish by then it's too late. I could a broke my back window and replaced it easy for half that! Sad part the tech told me that after he performed the work. Save your money and find someone else or break a window. read more

This company advertises 24-hour service yet when I call them in an emergency lockout situation they had no Tech's available. And the call then disconnected. I called them back a couple of minutes later to see if they would have a technician available later and the person who answered the phone said she was not sure and told me to call another company. I see their rates are cheaper than most but so what's the service. I will not call the service again and suggest to those who are reading this post also consider calling a more reputable service. read more

If I could leave less than one, I would. For 1. We called and a minute later called back saying we got the door open. They are out of Douglass, we were in Wichita.... "they had already dispatched their worker" so we were going to be getting charged. 2. When called back, I was HUNG UP ON and given no time to ask questions or anything. 3. Their "emergency lock out for children in a car" is $19.95. Their "any other lock out" is $19.99, so sorry parents, I suppose your child's life is only worth $0.04 to these lovely, and incredibly rude people. Will never call them and make the mistake again. read more

SCAM! I just needed the knob of my door unlocked to my home. It took the technician 5 seconds to do the job. When I had spoken with the dispatcher she said the minimum charge was $35. My job absolutely was a minimum job. The technician charged me $95! As if locking myself out of my door wasn't frustrating enough. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! read more

When I called I was told it was a $20 call out and getting in started at $15. Their address in Wichita Ks is E 1st St N. I needed them at 4825 E Douglas. Took them 15 minutes to get here and less than 2 minutes to get me into the ofc. Charge was $95 completely outrageous!!!!! read more

When I called for a home lockout I was told it would be 1 hour and 40 minute wait. After an hour and 55 minutes I called and was told technician was on his way. 15 minutes later I called again. I was placed on hold for 7 minutes while dispatch tried to make contact with technician. Was told then that he was in an accident and police answered his phone and that they wouldn't make it. Besides the fact that I didn't believe the accident story, now it is 12:15 am. and other choices are very limited. The next locksmith told me that I got lucky because they would have charged me more than double his price of $70 which is consistent with the other reviews. As another reviewer said, I would have put 0 stars if able. read more

The good stuff: If you are in a hurry and have boatloads of money call these guys. They will show up quickly. Keep you informed all the way. Good follow up. The bad stuff: The guy that showed up at my house arrived in a 89 Taurus. Wearing a t-shirt looking really sketchy with a passenger that looked even sketchier that never got out of the car. No shiny work truck with a logo on it or anything. It had the looks of an impound car that was just rescued. I was told on the phone when I made the arrangement the charge would be $19.95 dispatch fee and $15 unlock fee which is all I asked for. Seemed reasonable. Let's roll right??? Well, when they get there and finished the work and we were settling up the guy says $75 dollars. HUH? He said the dispatcher had to have told you $19.95 dispatch and $15 unlock....and are you ready for this? Here's the catch. It is a $15 unlock fee, AND UP, depending on the circumstances. And she did say that during our conversation. I know because he replayed the whole conversation to me on his cell phone....nice right?? Then the guy proceeds to tell me that the 'special circumstances' justifying the higher price was his gas for driving to my house. He was there in less than 10 min. (Please refer above to the good stuff scenario.) And, that I asked him to please use a different pry rod to unlock my car with. So in his mind him walking 20 feet to his car and his gas warranted doubling the PRICE QUOTED by the dispatch lady. Call it a SCAM or what you will. I would never recommend this company to a friend unless they had more money than they knew what to do with. Unfortunately for me that IS NOT the case. And please. Whatever person is responding to these reviews safe your breath. Most grown-ups know that you have to read the fine print, or in this case, listen to it. I do not need to read your policy. I believe I understand it thoroughly at this point. But thank you. BTW the website had some heartfelt story about the locksmith being a local guy with a family. Lived here his whole life. Has a family and just want to do right by the local community...blah, blah, blah. Also, this isn't a local company. Dispatch is in California. The dispatcher does not know who her superior is. Only has an email. Won't give you the time of day. Just the old "I am just the dispatcher sir" line. No one knows, or aren't saying, who the boss is. No manager to talk to. So bottom line folks. If you don't mind having your keys shoved deep in your tumbler and broke off then definitely give these guys a call. read more

Excellent service. The tech Nicholas was fast professional and made sure I got my keys out of my vehicle and ready to go. I had called multiple locksmiths before because my keys were in my trunk he got me my keys from my trunk within 15 minutes. I was so happy because you could not get in just by opening my front door and pushing the button and my seats did not come down. I tell you what I was happy I called 24 Hr Lockouts. read more

Said it would take them 15 minutes to get to my location (I was fairly close) 45 minutes later a guy shows up. Messes around for about another 30 minutes and finally got my car unlocked and then told me it would be over $100 with tax. On their website it clearly says "as low as $19.95" you have to dig through the website to find out what it will really cost you. Very upset. read more

Called because I locked keys in my truck. Lady on phone couldn't be heard because of kids yelling in background. I was put on hold and before I could ask for quote she hung up. Guy showed up in a Ford Escape, that was held together literally with tape. He had on baggy shorts with underwear showing and flip flops. I said "hi" and asked how much this was going to cost. He said something about discount and what type of vehicle but didn't give number. He got lock open and then quoted 125.00!!! High way robbery. Then mentioned "cash" discount.....maybe IRS should know. DO NOT USE THESE THIEVES!!! read more

I was locked out of my home yesterday and called 24 hr Lockouts. He arrived promptly and was courteous when unlocking the door. He then said I owed him $165.00. I told him the add says that your rates start at $19.95. He said that is to let children into their home. I told him most locksmiths charge $5o.oo. He replied I should have asked the fee when I called. I would not recommend this company as they take advantage of the situation. read more

This place is awful!!!! They are rude and they are overpriced. It took the guy 10 minutes to get to us, and not even 10 seconds to unlock the truck and charged us $150. The website says starting as low as 19.95 which is very misleading. Ben who was the guy who came to do it, was rude and told us his reasoning for charging so much was because it was a Saturday and he had to drive around more. Well first off you live in wichita, so you will probably have to drive around alot regardless, and second if you take the job knowing it requires 7 days a week 24 hour availability, you may need to rethink your profession. I am not happy with this place. They also hung up on me when I tried to ask any sort of question about how they determine the pricing. read more

I was helping a friend try to get into her car in which she had locked her keys into, after several attempts to use a clothes hanger, I said call 24 hr Lockout they advertise service for as low as 19.95. Wrong after showing up at her mothers house, in a very nice neighborhood to open the 2000VW door, it took all of 15 minutes to open the door. The guy never said what the price would be, and when he was questioned about the amount, his answer was I will E.mail you the receipt, and he ran my credit card, and as soon as it was complete he took off faster than a rabbit being chased by a dog. When the receipt came it was no where near there advertised price, it was a $150.00, and the way he went about it was no better than a thief. The man look at the house, and thought this guy has money, and he charged in accordance to his greed. I will never use 24 hr.Lockout again, and recommend anyone that does get the price up front. read more
