The locksmith was really nice and got to my car super quick. He had me unlocked in about 10 seconds and had me on my way in 1 minute. Was well worth it for the time it took to complete the process. I will say that the rate was a bit high compared to many locksmiths in the area. The estimate given on the phone was 80, but it was 155 overall. Highly recommend if you ever get locked out otherwise. SCAM AND COMPLETE RIP OFF - they charged me $150 to unlock my Van, the website and google search say $19.95 but it is in very small print at the bottom of the website that it's only for child emergencies. take the extra 10 seconds and call ANYONE other than these people. Their ad is so very missleading. The $19.95 in large type is a large part of their Logo. The young man who opened my van never once told me he was going to charge me $150 for his service. He took my credit card and ran it. He then handed it back and I walked back to my van. I then had a bad feeling and walked back and ask how much I was being charged. Only then did he tell me the cost was $150. It is said that when you get good service you will tell a few friends. However, when you get screwed you will stop anyone you meet and tell them. I appreciated the quick service but one star because the pricing was 100% misleading. I called and was told that it would be $35 ($20 fee + $15 fee). Instead, we were charged $75. I am not upset about the amount; I would be fine with the amount had the company been clear about the pricing. When I called to dispute the $40 difference, the woman said that I was told $35 was the minimum and that the final cost depended on the time of day, difficulty of lock (mine took less than a minute), and it was ultimately up to the technician how much each service would cost. I was never told a "minimum" of $35 and none of the other pricing details were explained to me when I scheduled the service. The woman was rude and argumentative instead of trying to remedy the situation. Again, the service was effective - but they need to be more clear about the pricing. This is the WORST company. It takes then over 45 minutes to get to you. On their website they advertise $19.95 child emergency and dont stand by it. My kids were locked in my car with the heater on in the winter and they charged me $250. I called and asked for corporates number and the receptionist cussed me out yelled and said there is no corporate and blocked my phone number. I would like to put out there that 24 Hr Lockouts is definitely a good outfit. My experience was hassle free, quick and easy, from dispatch to locksmith. Mine came directly from much farther than what I expected, but in a timely manner considering the distance. He was professional, clean, quick, and personable. It saved me so much more frustration after trying to get into my truck to retrieve my keys myself for over an hour. I find it very interesting that the only two 5-star reviews were by two guys that happen to have the same names as the two technicians on the website. My experience was ok. Jordan was helpful and got the job done quickly after arrival. Unfortunately, I had to wait for nearly an hour (50 minutes to be exact) for his arrival. He said he was busy with a home lock out or something. Seams to me they need more technicians. My charge for vehicle lock out service was $60. Considerably lower than other reviews on here, however, a bit higher than I expected. Searching high and low on the company website (the next day) I did find that they recommend that you get an estimate of your charges from the dispatch personnel, otherwise the technician can charge whatever he feels like. read more

Just had a locksmith out to get me back into my house. Took all of 2 minutes. Called initially to schedule was quoted a minimum of $35. Okay fine. Was not quoted after hours charges when I called around 6pm. Was also not told the technicians set their own rates. Ended up paying $140. Called back spoke with a lady named Kimberly who got aggressive when I asked about why I wasn't told about after hours pricing or that the technicians set their own rate. Was provided with an email address to speak to management because apparently managers don't talk on the phone to customers. Made an already bad night even worse. Thank you 24 Lockout! read more

He didn't even ask for verification that I owned or rented the home, which I thought was odd. I guess they don't care as long as they're getting paid. Yes complete scam they lure you in with the $19.95 ask what type of vehicle and tell you it will be 15 to 30 min. Well they made good time but I had to tell him were the electric door lock was on the inside and which direction to push it to unlock. He used an air bad and stiff bar that likely cost the 19.95 referral price to unlock it and charged a hundred dollars. If I used a credit card it woulda cost me 150! They don't tell you anything in price when you call them and they fudge on the estimate then drop the bomb when they finish by then it's too late. I could a broke my back window and replaced it easy for half that! Sad part the tech told me that after he performed the work. Save your money and find someone else or break a window. read more

I called them back a couple of minutes later to see if they would have a technician available later and the person who answered the phone said she was not sure and told me to call another company. When I called for a home lockout I was told it would be 1 hour and 40 minute wait. After an hour and 55 minutes I called and was told technician was on his way. 15 minutes later I called again. I was placed on hold for 7 minutes while dispatch tried to make contact with technician. Was told then that he was in an accident and police answered his phone and that they wouldn't make it. Besides the fact that I didn't believe the accident story, now it is 12:15 am. and other choices are very limited. The next locksmith told me that I got lucky because they would have charged me more than double his price of $70 which is consistent with the other reviews. The good stuff: If you are in a hurry and have boatloads of money call these guys. They will show up quickly. Keep you informed all the way. Good follow up. The bad stuff: The guy that showed up at my house arrived in a 89 Taurus. Wearing a t-shirt looking really sketchy with a passenger that looked even sketchier that never got out of the car. No shiny work truck with a logo on it or anything. It had the looks of an impound car that was just rescued. I was told on the phone when I made the arrangement the charge would be $19.95 dispatch fee and $15 unlock fee which is all I asked for. Seemed reasonable. Let's roll right??? Well, when they get there and finished the work and we were settling up the guy says $75 dollars. HUH? He said the dispatcher had to have told you $19.95 dispatch and $15 unlock....and are you ready for this? Here's the catch. It is a $15 unlock fee, AND UP, depending on the circumstances. And she did say that during our conversation. I know because he replayed the whole conversation to me on his cell phone....nice right?? Then the guy proceeds to tell me that the 'special circumstances' justifying the higher price was his gas for driving to my house. He was there in less than 10 min. (Please refer above to the good stuff scenario.) And, that I asked him to please use a different pry rod to unlock my car with. So in his mind him walking 20 feet to his car and his gas warranted doubling the PRICE QUOTED by the dispatch lady. Call it a SCAM or what you will. I would never recommend this company to a friend unless they had more money than they knew what to do with. Unfortunately for me that IS NOT the case. And please. Whatever person is responding to these reviews safe your breath. Most grown-ups know that you have to read the fine print, or in this case, listen to it. I do not need to read your policy. I believe I understand it thoroughly at this point. But thank you. BTW the website had some heartfelt story about the locksmith being a local guy with a family. Lived here his whole life. I had called multiple locksmiths before because my keys were in my trunk he got me my keys from my trunk within 15 minutes. Well first off you live in wichita, so you will probably have to drive around alot regardless, and second if you take the job knowing it requires 7 days a week 24 hour availability, you may need to rethink your profession. I was helping a friend try to get into her car in which she had locked her keys into, after several attempts to use a clothes hanger, I said call 24 hr Lockout they advertise service for as low as 19.95. Wrong after showing up at her mothers house, in a very nice neighborhood to open the 2000VW door, it took all of 15 minutes to open the door. The guy never said what the price would be, and when he was questioned about the amount, his answer was I will E.mail you the receipt, and he ran my credit card, and as soon as it was complete he took off faster than a rabbit being chased by a dog. When the receipt came it was no where near there advertised price, it was a $150.00, and the way he went about it was no better than a thief. The man look at the house, and thought this guy has money, and he charged in accordance to his greed.
