I don't have the time or the energy to spend scouring the internet and figuring out how to send out invoices and take downs. But, Pixsy's team does. Yes, they do not always have the ability to go after infringements in certain countries. And, yes, sometimes a case gets denied bc the infringer is too small to go after. In that case, I have sometimes gone after them myself. Other times, I decide it is not worth the chase. Pixsy has helped me to protect my intellectual property and my income. If you make your living by creating images, you should definitely check this company out!

LOL. CC2.0 license has no monetary fees. The law is clear. 30 day grace period after notification to credit the photographer or a take down notice is the only recourse. No notices were received. This is extortion and must be stopped. Small, non-profit businesses cannot afford the time or money to deal with these threats. Pixsy has global reach and is extorting businesses all over the world. Flickr and Pixsy no longer have a partnership. All the artists should know that their Flickr accounts can be closed because of Pixsy's extortion. I reported this to Flickr and got a response in 24 hours. I don't want to punish photographers if they don't know Pixsy is using their names, but collateral damage is unavoidable. I am reporting them to the FTC. They already have an F on the BBB and undoubtedly multiple lawsuits against them for extortion and fraud. I encourage anyone being extorted by Pixsy to fight back and report them to the proper jurisdiction.

She is blatantly unprofessional and unethical. Also, I've heard that Anna has been involved in very similar situations involving other families in Azusa. She's old and near the end of her career; it's unfortunate she wasn't reported to the American Bar Association many years ago.
