Chad was very responsive and knowledgeable. He consulted with me and advised on the different options due to the current breaker being obsolete. The technician, Mitch, was out the same day to assess what would need to be done. They scheduled the work the same day in cooperation with the electric company to have the power shut down and replace the breaker. The work was completed a day later, early and very quickly.

I called Chad and he sent one of his technicians out right away. They were there within a half an hour, identified the problem and were able to repair it within one hour. I will definitely call them for non-repair home upgrades. Thanks!!!

Now THIS is a deck!!! A huge shoutout to Nick (Gary N. Tyler), owner of Valknut Handyman Services!…read more He is our hero! If you're looking for someone who will answer your phone calls, show up when he says he will, can actually do what he tells you he can AND do it in the length of time he says he will; takes pride in his work and is dependable and honest, give him a call! We cannot sing his praises enough! We highly recommend him! Email him at nick@valknuthandyman.com or call him at 602-565-4476. If you wish to see pictures and learn the details of the original/horrible "deck" it took Matthew Halderman, owner of All N 1 LLC almost 6 months to "build", go to my review of All N 1 LLC, Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ - you will be sorry if you hire him or anyone who works for him, trust me! He repeatedly lied to us, strung us along and milked us out of thousands before abandoning the project, leaving us with an unsalvageable mess that thankfully Nick agreed to fix for us. Nick completely tore everything down and started the deck all over again. We hired Nick on June 12th and he began demolition on that same day. He finished the rebuild, including paint, on July 7th and the County Inspector gave us the green light to move in on July 10th. Mind you, Nick did the tear-down and rebuild in 4 weeks AND did it all by himself! Thank you, Nick! We appreciate you and wish you all the best - you deserve that and so much more!

You can trust Nick, and that's the biggest compliment I can give.

In 2025 Jason was among a…read morehandful of contractors I called to give us an estimate to fix a serious problem involving an unsafe and poorly-built foundation, plumbing, water drainage, subfloors and floor issues in an old house in Pinetop. From the moment I engaged with Jason it was clear he'd be getting our business. Unlike the other potential bidders--some of whom never even called us back--he came out right away to do a thorough inspection, including explanatory photos from deep inside our creepy under-house crawl space. Unlike the other contractors, he treated me (woman in her 70s) with respect and courtesy (the other contractor who came out to bid would speak only to my husband--despite both of having made it clear that I was the project manager. Yeah, no, I don't have time for that crap). Jason Thomas has high standards. He honored his estimated start date, responded to every call or text within an hour, kept me informed at each step of the job; sent daily summary texts, photos and/or videos of their work; coordinated all subcontractors; consulted me with options and their costs at every design decision point; ensured the job site was kept clean and the house secured every night; and was polite and courteous at all times. We ended up on time and on budget, with a house that is sound and beautiful. THANK YOU JASON, we couldn't have asked for a more positive experience. I'd give you and your crew 10 stars if Yelp would let me.
