It was one of the best massages I've ever had in my life, and I have had a lot, including many pricey ones. He REALLY worked on my problem areas so I felt the massage, while relaxing, was actually accomplishing something in terms of getting rid of long held tension. He's very friendly and intutive, and puts you at ease. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Dr Weir doesn't try to push $1000-$1500 packages on you; as some chiropractic do, to come in 2-3 times a week for the next year. He books 20 minute appointments and is not an assembly line where you see the doctor for 2-3 minutes for the adjustment then he or she is gone. Dr Weir may do a few minutes if massage or TENS machine treatment before the actual adjustment. He takes care of you so you get the best results possible. He's the best!

Dr. Weir is…read morewonderful--super knowledgeable, provided me with a ton of information on my neck/back issues that have plagued me for years. There are a lot of chiropractors in the Milford/Amherst area, and it was difficult for me to determine which one to go to. I am so glad I went to the Back Stop. Not only for the excellent care, but because they do not push you into scheduling regular appointments, buying supplements, purchasing books (my husband was forced by a chiro in Amherst to buy a book the dr had contributed to!). All in all, the visit was exactly what I was hoping for, and I will be back. I learned a lot and feel tons better after the adjustment. Can't recommend highly enough.

In the past, physical therapy used a number of different modalities to treat pain and rehabilitate…read moremuscles and tendons. Recently, it seems, traditional physical therapy has become more of a targeted fitness training specific to post-surgical and trauma recovery. At Boudreau Physical Therapy, your experience will be different. You won't find high-tech weight machines or exercise stepping machines. Instead you will find a practicianer (yes, an RPT and a PTA) and they are likely to give you exercises that you can work on at home (complete with little pictures.) However you will also find a treatment table, a hands-on experience that brings focused attention to the areas you feel need to be worked on. It has been my experience that the PT I have received from Boudreau and Associates has brought healing and wholeness that I can't find in fitness machines. The process used is called Integrated Manual Therapy (IMT) and it basic premise is that whole body functions as a system made up of the other systems of the body. By creating a flow throughout the body, it begins to heal. If you what a Physical Therapy experience that creates wholeness and healing, I highly recommend the practice of Boudreau and Associates.

There is a sliding scale and you pay what you can afford, no questions. I like that Chinese practice is done here which is not at the POCA clinic I attend normally in Nashua. The practitioner feels your pulse and checks your tongue before administering needles. He also wipes all areas with alcohol before needles are placed. I really appreciated this extra concern for hygienics. It is a small studio with only 6 chairs. I like the Buddhist OM music playing and the sound mufflers etc. The climate is controlled and air conditioned. I love sitting on the beautiful porch that is loaded with flowers, and sitting in a rocking chair after my treatment.

He is always interested first and foremost in understanding the issues actually going on in their bodies and then addressing them directly and indirectly through massage and movement. Phillip himself is also an excellent mover, and knows how to use his body in many different ways, and in my experience body workers are always a lot better when they themselves use their bodies a lot! So he has both the physical and the intellectual understanding in his own body and nervous system, and he uses that in an extremely intelligent approach to help his clients. I've gotten many massages in my time, and Phillip might not give you the most relaxing massage, but it is quite likely to be the most useful one for your needs! Highly recommended!!
