I hired Joel to photograph my son's wedding reception. I had explained ahead of time that the event…read morewas in a banquet room with low lighting and lots of bright colors, and that it was important to me that he capture photos of our family as well as all the guests. In that respect, Joel did a very good job. He photographed the newlyweds, the guests, and the performances thoroughly, and he worked quietly and unobtrusively throughout the evening. However, there were very few pictures of our family. I wished he had focused on getting more family pictures. The reason I am giving a 4-star review rather than 5 is due to a lack of clarity around post-processing. It was not communicated beforehand that the photos would be largely unedited. While the lighting was adjusted, many images ended up overexposed, and there were several distracting background elements--such as podiums, backpacks, and visible wires--that I had expected would be edited out. When I asked about this, I was told that additional editing would cost extra. There was also a lot of emphasis on a complimentary drone photo of the entire party, which unfortunately was not feasible since the event was indoors. I wish the focus had instead been on clearly explaining what level of editing was included and taking more family pictures. Overall, if you are looking for someone to efficiently cover an event and capture everyone present, Joel does a solid job. If you want more detailed editing or a specific finished look, I would strongly recommend clarifying those expectations in advance. I read many Yelp reviews before hiring him and did not see this mentioned, so I felt it was important to share.

From the very beginning, Vinh was incredibly informative, professional, and genuinely friendly. His communication is exceptional. I don't think he ever took more than 24 hours to respond to my requests. My fiancé and I are not photogenic people. We've never done a photoshoot together and honestly i'm a bit awkward. But Vinh made us feel completely comfortable right away. He guided us through poses, gave helpful suggestions on outfit colors to match our location, and even recommended spots that perfectly matched the vision I had in mind. Initially I planned to take on the job myself, but I have two young kids and a lot of relatives I haven't seen in several years that I knew would keep me busy. I reached out to a lot of photographers with good reviews on Yelp. I ranked the photographers I contacted and hoped someone from the top of my list would be available and would not be too pricey. There was a fairly wide range of prices as well as different levels of experience. I really liked what I saw on Harry's website, and he was at the top of my list. So I was incredibly excited when Harry said he was available for the exact date and time I needed. Harry is experienced, and he's a good communicator. The agreement was clear, and everything went as smoothly as it could have been. Harry captured so many special moments throughout the 4.5 hour party. Even though I said there was no rush, our family was grateful to have an online link available to download the photos in less than 5 days after the event. We were grateful Harry provided tips on lighting and space to get good shots of multiple families and a big group photo. The photos were beautiful and captured so many memorable moments that evening including my Grandma dancing the night away. We will always treasure these photos from my Grandma's 100th Birthday celebration. Overall I highly recommend working with Harry. Safety: As a mother, I have taken extra precautions during this pandemic so I was skeptical at first to book a photographer- but Yesenia has always ensured we feel safe as she creates a safe environment. She has kept her mask on for every shoot we have had with her, she disinfects all the items before use. Even now that she is fully vaccinated she keeps her mask on and constantly cleans her hands. Christmas Shoot: I first booked her when she was offering a Christmas mini in 2019. My husband, son, and our dog Moo showed up to the session at a park in the city. Yesenia was invited and warm as she helped us pose alongside the props she had. Also noted was that she was wearing a mask and disinfected the items we used as props in front of us before the shoot. I reached out to Yesenia right away, she congratulated me and told me when the most ideal pregnancy period was to take maternity pictures. I booked a spot for I was about 34 weeks pregnant. Before the shoot, Yesenia called me to discuss the color scheme, pictures I wanted to recreate, family portrait options, and the details of what I needed to take to the shoot that day. After our call, she sent me a detailed list of what to expect during the shoot and how I could prepare. When we arrived at the studio she made us feel comfortable as we took family pictures and then more intimate pregnancy pictures. My pictures came out so good everyone was in awe at how beautifully Yesenia captured that moment. Newborn Shoot: So of course I reached out to her again when my son was born. And as always she was great. She had everything in the studio prepared for our pictures. Yesenia even takes extra steps to ensure the newborn is comfortable the entire shoot.
