Interesting. But, the other reviews said what an awesome job they did, so I figured that I'd let that influence me more than the mess in front of me. The lady working there was in the back chatting with someone, and I waited a few minutes before I poked my head back there to let them know I was in the lobby area. She politely said hello and said she would be with me in a minute. Well, after 20 minutes or so of listening to the lady and the guy in there bullshit about random things, they both made their way up to the front, and the gentleman left. They both thanked me for being so patient. Now, I totally understand that if there's one person working there, and two customers, one of the customers is going to have to wait. I was fine with that, but I think if you know that you have someone else waiting in the lobby, at least shoot the shit somewhere where they can't hear you. It was mildly irritating. When I was finally helped, I asked for a fairly common type of frame (1/4 - 3/8" brushed aluminum), which they didn't have. She said something about the recession making things difficult to get, and the manufacturers were not making a lot of different frames anymore. Whatever. So I took my stuff literally less than 2 miles away, where I was helped almost immediately, and they had exactly what I was looking for. I asked if they had any issues obtaining framing material because of the recession, and they looked at me like I had a third eye. I figured as much.

I began speaking with him and really dug his vibe & his style. The artist really has a way of capturing some really cool action shots and the surfing photos really got my attention. I actually picked up a cool little framed photo for my bedroom. I paid $30.00 including the frame, on their website the same photo is listed for almost $40.00 not including shipping. The artist himself is a local from the South Bay who currently resides in Oceanside. His love is photography and it truly shows in his work. If you are out there and looking for a cool little shot of something off the beaten path, if you are a surfer and looking for an incredible Black & White or color photo this site might be exactly what you have been looking for. I do not purchase that much photo art but the shot I purchased was a must. I actually walked away after looking at his photos and turned around a couple feet later to ensure I was able to walk away with the piece that I wanted. The artist (whose name is slipping me) cleaned the inside and out of the frame before he packaged it up for me. When I am back at the OB Farmer's Market I will definitely be on the lookout for this guy and see what new pieces he has to offer.
