When you have a mask on and no one can see anything else, it makes it extra worth it to me to have fabulous looking lashes and makes me feel better when I look in the mirror. You can wear eyeliner and eyeshadow with them but I rarely feel like I need to. The glue lasts well through showers and cleaning. The lashes generally look full going into a refill. (Refills are much more economical than a full set, so it makes sense to keep up with them and return every 3 weeks). Sarah's cleaning protocols for covid make me feel safe going even now and they make me feel like I also need to be extra careful knowing all that she is doing to keep people well. Bonus: She listens to books while she works so you get something to fall asleep to while you are laying down for an hour. This is a single studio, not one of the franchise lash places that you have to pay double to get them done by someone with experience. It is worth it to go to someone that knows what they are doing! All of this was new to me. I had only had my eyebrows waxed over the years. Somewhere along the way, between covid, my cosmetologist changing professions and financial hardship, I had been plucking them at home. I had pretty sculpted eyebrows for years and years but my plucking got out of hand. I needed help! I did my research on the latest services available for eyebrows nowadays, which were not offered locally in Clinton or Roseboro, that I could find. I started doing my research online for places in Fayetteville. After viewing many different locations and reading review after review, I decided on Donia at Eye Envy. I wasn't going to let just any Tom, Dick or Harry work on my eyebrows. Donia had great reviews!! She was the person I needed! I just knew it. On her website, I made an appointment and paid the necessary fee to schedule with her. $10.00. Cool. She promptly responded. She emailed me several pages of policies to read,sign, and email back. I was so excited! I made it clear I was a newby and hoped I had chosen the appropriate service for me. It was for Henna tinting. She had also sent a few texts. She seemed so nice. Couldn't wait. Everything was set. The address was her home address. A nice gated community. She had left my name with the guard to let me in. I arrive at her house, we quickly said our "Heys and How are yous". Two requirements in her paperwork were to wear a mask and remove your shoes upon entering. I had my mask on. She didn't. I didn't hesitate a second further before I started the motion to remove my shoes. She hastily says "You know, this henna isn't going to help you at all and I don't want to waste your money". I had just driven over an hour to get there. Prior to my arrival, I had gotten a full body massage. I think that is what saved me that day from losing my cool. I told her that I wish I had of known and that I had just drove over an hour to get there. On the inside, I was thinking, Is she really serious right now!!?? She did seem like a nice lady and she apologized. I was so disappointed. Did she This happened about 4 weeks ago. I knew I was definitely going to give her a review, which I rarely do. I respectfully did everything she required and asked of me but she left me feeling disrespected that day. She sent me an email after I left stating the $10.00 was refunded to my debit card and she hoped I would use her services in the future. This is a long review to say, I felt my experience was great until I actually arrived for the appointment and any existing professionalism went out the window. It was shitty (for the lack of a better term). I hadn't even been there long enough for her to look at my eyebrows. Not even 10 seconds. I informed her what shape and condition my eyebrows were in from the beginning. I suggest, to Donia, that she should actually read and pay attention to what a new client is communicating to her and be more respectful of other's time. She had strict cancellation policies. Practice what you preach! I appreciate her not wanting to waste my money and I do not doubt her talent and abilities but she did waste my time with all those forms and my time and gas traveling there and back unnecessarily. Since gas is so cheap anyways!! Why did she let it go that far? May yo she continue to do good work and please your clientele in the future. The day before my birthday, my Mom out in California surprised me with a gift certificate to Eye Beauty Studio for lash extensions. I had never had them before and I was VERY that they would look "fake". It was just some thing I have never looked into before. Either way, I was ready to give it a chance. I called Freda to schedule and lucky for me she had a same-day cancellation so I slid right into that appointment and it was go time. When I parked in front of the salon I texted to let her know I had arrived and she met me at the door, mainly due to Covid reasons. She walked me back to her HUGE private salon and I sat on the couch and immediately felt comfortable. Freda explained all the risks and benefits and I filled out a couple of pieces of paperwork. We came up with a plan after bouncing ideas back-and-forth, looking at photos and really just trusting the process. Like I said earlier, I had never done this before and since I had no idea what that's was about to happen I was a little bit anxious as we got stared but that quickly went away. Freda explained what she was about to do and why and it made me really understand the process of what was going on. Things can be scary when you're eyes are closed for an entire appointment... but not this one. She also really made me feel like I was cozy at home laying in my own bed. From the soothing music to the coziest blanket I've ever felt in my life, it wasn't ling before I fell sleep... twice. The rest of the time we had a wonderful conversation. She is such a good listener. I am so grateful to my Mom all the way in California who just wanted me to feel pretty because when I say I posed for my after photos, I POSED for those after photos. I absolutely adore Freda. On one hand she is so professional and an extremely brilliant businesswoman and on the other hand she is the kindest most gentle person who just wants to make people feel pretty. She is the perfect combination of everything that makes up a good human being and for me it's certainly a treat whenever I meet someone like her.

They're great if you want to look at least a little made up without spending time putting on full make up. In December 2023 I decided to have Freda, the owner, do a lip brush. I hate wearing lipstick since it dries up my lips, which was the deciding factor. It's a two step process but totally worth it. No more lipstick for me, only some gloss. Just recently they added facials to their menu. I went today and had a brightening facial with an exfoliation done with Kaylin. It was pretty amazing and Kaylin explained every step of the facial. My skin felt so subtle and soft afterwards. In fact, I booked my next facial appointment already and I've decided to do this once a month on the same day as my eyelash fills. They offer packages which makes it cheaper than buying individual facials. Moral of this long review...I am totally pleased with all of their services and can only recommend them to anyone who wants to practice some self care!

In Raleigh a short time and was fortunate that Jill's schedule was open for a lash tint, brow wax and fill. Jill got my brows on point and the fill is perfect. Not too much and just the right amount of volume and dimension. And the lash tint... sister got it done on my uber blond lashes. She got each lash perfectly.
