I took this course last weekend and Skip is am amazing teacher! All the teachers were great but Skip a born teacher!

I got dismissed today at the beginning of the range course. I was taking an old bike. There are new models but a little higher for me. As a zero experience person, I found the gearshift kind of loose and cannot feel the N gear(it's like totally no feedback between 1&2. Is that normal?). Then the trainer came to me. It's very stressful. The trainer just kept asking me "Is it neutral now?" "Do as I said""Do you understand English?" It was scary. I was planing to step down into 1 and lift a bit to try again(please let me know if that's wrong). And I also wanted to explain it but never got the chance. At that time he just kept repeating those questions. My brain was blank and ... Yeah I was out. I wish I could yelled back at that time. I am really sad now. //Today I received an email of the final result from TWST. Joi kindly helped me on the reschedule option. Though I decided not to continue with TWST, thanks the same for following my case.

learned a lot and had a good time for the most part. Instructor Pierre was really cool and had a great attitude. Karen was the other instructor for day 1 and his demeanor was terrible and you could definitely tell he had a chip on his shoulder when there's no need for that when this is a beginners course buddy.

Thank you Team 2 Wheels. The Motorcycle 2 days training was informative and rewarding. All of the instructors have kept my safety and those who are taking the course/class the same as me. The instructors are thoroughly teaching each individual. The instructors are not mind readers and if you do not communicate with the instructors they will not know how to help you. Each individual motorcycle is tested prior to a student riding the motorcycle so that there are no issues for the new rider. Thank you once again for looking out for me and my fellow riders. I am a more skilled and knowledgeable motorcyclist. Having these skills will most definitely keep me safe and the community too. I appreciate all of the help and inspiring words. I look forward to taking more of your skills classes so I can make the right choice in purchasing the right 1st motorcycle for me. I say rewarding because I am now the Proud and Privileged Class C driver and M1 license holder. Thank you again!!! If you read this post This is Your 2WheeledSafety instructor you should sign up for!!!

The instructors kept yelling at me ... i actually learned alot by myself. But i was having trouble with words and tried to get help and the instructor wouldnt spend the time to help yrach or anything.. he said i wasnt paying attention but i was telling him to eppain it diff i knew what he was saying ... jesus for 300 bucks find sum private kessons or something its ur life and there muscel memory.. ya they kinda dimiss students and take there 300.. and they got mad at me for hurting myself. I calmly picked myself up while the instructor yelled at me. This is like the worse class ever.. ya the teacher doesnt like teaching

"California Highway Patrol (CHP)" has many programs designed to make better drivers/riders. "California Motorcyclist Safety (CMS) Program" is the one of them. This CMS program has a Motorcycle Training Class (MTC) designed for motorcycle riders. 2 Wheel Safety Training (TWST) is a motorcycle riding school, contracted and approved by the California Motorcyclist Safety Program (CMSP) to provide rider motorcycle instructions. Now that we got all the acronyms sorted out, there are other reviews that are very good in details and coverage. My background: Multiple years of riding experience overseas but none in US and also none in last few years. So needed to unlearn habits irrelevant in US and pick up relevant ones. Took the Mission Collge Class. My take: Pros: 1. The course is a good mix of classroom and range. 2. No course can cover everything you "can" know but whatever basic stuff you "should" know are covered. 3. Instructors are just fantastic. Patient, non-condescending, interested and genuinely want us to clear the test. Cons: 1. The classroom slides are bland and boring. Instructors do their very best to make it work (I don't think I can top their passion) We had to rely on imagination a lot. Concepts such as traction, swerving, skidding, correct parking and many more are better shown by videos. Videos would have made things a lot easier to understand. 2. The Mission College is a maze. With designated parking, range, classroom and restrooms spread wide, its a walk no matter what. Plan to include lot of time for walks. Be Aware (this is not the cons section) 1. The course will eat up your weekend and is energy intensive. Be prepared mentally, physically and emotionally. 2. Don't be cocky if you have previous riding experience. Picking up relevant skills is humbling experience. 3. There are no shortcuts. Be prepared to complete everything. 4. This is my personal belief - If you have zero experience of motorcycles, 2 days are insufficient to have a good hold. Will highly recommend you take the class, but post pone the test and take time to hone your skills. Overall: Full value for money. Great experience. A good beginning to a long journey of learning and having fun.

They had a cbr 250, but no mirrors. Reasonably so in case of a drop.

This class is for people who practice at home. Not a good investment for complete beginners. If you don't have a bike at home don't bother.

Plus, I didn't see a single review from Mission College about Derik, and you definitely want him as your instructor!

I'm a freshly 20 year old female without any experience behind the wheel, and I mean any!! Unfortunately, my nerves got the best of me during my first lesson and I freaked out. I caused myself and my instructor some stress, and sadly I was unmotivated to drive for a while. Before I left a negative review, I contacted Bay Hill's through email. They made things right and scheduled my second appointment with JP, and he was fantastic! I went from shaking like a leaf behind the wheel to having genuine confidence in 2 hours-- No exaggeration! We drove around and shared a heartfelt conversation, in which he also shared some tips on lane switching and turns. Halfway through our session, we stopped for water and stretches, so I knew my comfortability was respected. The negative reviews on this business are so upsetting. This is an excellent Asian-owned, woman-owned small business with so much diversity on their staff. If your first lesson goes awry, contact them!!! They are bound to have someone you are comfortable with. This is an honest review! I could not recommend Bay Hill Driving School enough!

She would smack gum, eat food, and generally had an attitude of not caring. Only until my last class did she run me through a couple of rules but I never really learnt anything under her teaching. It was high pressure and everything I learned was like being tested without knowing there was a test or what the material was on. The only saving grace here is that the people at the office are great, they kindly signed my second permit and gave me another learning certificate for $25 when I lost my first one. I would shop around for a better driving school before settling on this one.
