Chris was so warm from the get go and welcomed us to her place like family. She has an area set up in the back of the shop specifically for the classes. She offered us a variety of beverages for the class including tea, seltzer, water, etc. We got to wear cute aprons with the business name on it to protect our clothes which was a nice touch! After everyone arrived for the class (5 people total), we got to work. Chris walked us through the whole process. She is so cute and fun and it really made the class fantastic. There was a large variety of vessels to choose from and more scents than one could even think of. We got to select our vessel and take our time smelling all the scents to select the perfect combo for our candle. She had a wide array of decor to add to the tops of the candles from stones to flowers, and dried fruit. This was such a cool experience and we made such beautiful candles! I will definitely be returning to Chris' shop. She has a beautiful selection of candles, body scrubs, magnesium mists, and even laundry additives. You first pick out your vessel for your candle, there's lot of size and price options. Next, you pick out your scent and color. There are a LOT of scents, so take your time. The first part of this is the longest, and when you get to actually pouring your candle, it takes about 10 mins. My friends and I stayed a little while and enjoyed our drinks! We returned about an hour and a half later to pick up our candles. Online it says it'll take about 2 hours, but from start to finish, it really is only about 30-45 mins, so keep that in mind. We had made reservations next door at the champagne and chocolate place for 2 hours after our start time here. But we ended up asking if they had an earlier seating since we were done so much earlier. This is a wonderful place for a date night or a girls night out!

We used paint as the base for our pieces (had super cute water bowls for paint brushes we used), I think paint drying took the longest. It was a little funny we all basically hounded over our pieces to dry a bit before we put tile pieces on it. Little mirror pieces, pretty stones and such were plentiful to use. Elmer's glue was used to secure the pieces and surprisingly holding great. Each piece had a price on them when we were choosing them off the wall. Prices weren't unreasonable, on top of studio space and materials that we were using. It was a fun activity as we love our arts n crafts. I think one of my friend's made the appointment/time slot online, everything was smooth sails and we basically stayed till closing time.
