A few months later, my father became ill and could no longer care for him. I was also ill (this has been the year from hell) and couldn't come to bring him to his new home with us in Portland with. On short notice, Lanelle took care of him for us for more than a month (maybe even 2?), sending us photos of him in pumpkin patches, doing yoga poses, looking clearly happy. And she did all sorts of extra things to help us, like take him to the vet and calling around to get the certificate of health needed for the ground transport service to bring him to me. And the most endearing thing was how she checked in with me several times after she sent him off, missing him, wanting updates and to know he was well. Now that is the kind of woman you want caring for your special little fur-babies. WOW. just wow. She helped us through a time of crisis, providing Kabuki with stability and love when he most needed it and we couldn't be there for him. We couldn't have done it without her. Now our little pup is happily enjoying his retirement in Portland.

I also have the pleasure of volunteering with Cyndall at the Humane Society Naples & have seen her work dogs with all sorts of issues from high arousal to on leash reactivity & the super scared ones. She very capable of adjusting how she handles dogs according to what they need & does what their owners ask of her. I have ridiculously high expectations for all dog sitters now that I've seen the wonders she managed with my baby, I would reschedule my vacations around her availability because there's no one else I'd trust as much as Cyndall.
