Great customer service great Fans! Gerard did a fantastic job assisting me with what I needed. Thank you!!

I placed an order for 2 carriage lights and a lamp post light. I received the wrong color lamp post light. I filed a ticket the following day with assurances I would receive an update in 2-3 days. I never received an update and followed up with their online chat system after almost a month of waiting. I was told that I would need to provide photos of the box for any replacement consideration. The person on chat was insistent that the colors of the fixtures provided were too similar and they could not tell if a mistake was made or not, despite entirely different glass finishes. I do not believe the agent even checked the listing to see how similar the color finishes are on the fixtures, just insisted on making it my issue. I will never shop with 1StopLighting again. TERRIBLE SERVICE EXPEREINCE. read more

Ann responded quickly, assuring me that the damaged lamp did not need to be returned. Appreciate her friendly and helpful response.

Ordered a ceiling fan on July 2nd and was told I would receive it outside of the 3 day guarantee, including the holiday. I then requested the $50 money back as stated on their site to which the chat agent fulfilled. Fast forward to today (7/9), I receive the wrong product. What I got was a light fixture instead. So I contact customer support through chat (since you cannot actually speak to someone due to being an online only help desk) to which they offer a replacement. But when asked for expedited shipping they respond with "we do not offer that." And when asked for any money back, they say they can't because they already gave me the $50 for the original delay. First and last time I will be using their services. read more

Good experience via chat option, but I cannot believe any company doing business would not have an option to chat to a human. Ann M was wonderful via chat but I will not do business with a company that I cannot speak to a human. Back to Lumens for me. After seeing the reply, I can understand the company might think this is convenient for people but I really, really wish that they would have given an option for a phone call. Just not the way to do business. read more

I had a hard time locating a specific recessed lighting flange that fit my current cans. I called the factory and they don't sell to the consumer. I found the exact model with this organization. I did have to call and speak with a human to have the web price match their advertised sale price. I was able to connect quickly and complete the transaction on the web. After a full business day I checked the status of the order. It was still listed as pending. I sent in a e-mail status request since their chat bot is a piece of garbage. A couple of days later, I received a response to let them check on it. (Written in very bad English) After a few more days with no communication, I cancelled the order and notified my credit card company. Lo and behold, a few days later I received an e-mail indicating that the items are out for delivery. I went back to the website and the order still indicated cancelled. The items were shipped directly from the factory I think. Who knows if I'll receive any money back from their guarantee. I'll send an e-mail and inquire. The price was good. I'm not sure I would order again from them for any expensive items. It also appears their CS team is not located on site, but a 3rd party. read more

This company has gone downhill. I've had to return a few lamps because of defects or have my invoices adjusted because the discounts either were not applied or not applied correctly. The reps must be people with poor math skills working in customer service. At one point, one of the reps told me that partial refunds do not include sales tax, which is complete BS and fraud! I've had to write to them repeatedly to get the refunded amounts corrected and am sick and tired of doing so. Will use another company from now on. Hope you all see what Stephanie is trying to do here, which is make it appear that the customer is petty by complaining about a less than $2 price difference. In fact, the total adjustments I've had to have made have amounted to well over $100. If 1Stoplighting hired competent representatives who knew how to calculate partial refunds and include the sales tax along with them, you'd be saving people like me a lot of time and headache. read more

You Order and Nothing Happens -- EVER. Ordered 11/24/24. By 12/5/24 after seeing ZERO movement on this order, just the same fake message every day, I attempted to use their automated help desk. That went about as you would expect. When it kept asking the same question over and over instead of answering, and I told it to go F itself, THEN it sent me to a human (or said it did). The human, Gerard someone, was worse than the automated bot. He never even typed anything. Not a single letter. I'm not the kind of person who puts up with this, so I canceled the order and got a message that they would TRY to cancel it. They're not going to cancel it. They're going to charge me and ship eventually and then put it on ME to have to tie up more time returning it. Keep in mind this is TRY to cancel it after 12 DAYS of doing nothing to actually fulfill this order in the first place. Read the reviews on Yelp and Trustpilot. This company is no company you want to be involved with or reward with your business. There is literally NOBODY THERE when you have an issue, and I think just about anyone trying to order anything from them WILL have an issue. This company is clearly selling items they don't even physically have to sell to you. If (when) you have a problem, you're on your own. There's no help. None. read more

I have a Minka Aire fan (Model F594) that stopped speaking to my wall control switch. I replaced the controls with a handheld remote, but it turned out the receiver was the problem. It is indeed the green Minka Aire receiver with one black wire and one white wire coming out of one side and one blue wire, one black wire, and one white wire coming out of the other side. (See photo of OLD receiver that I yanked out.) Getting the old receiver out was fun because there were two THICK squares of foam double-sided tape attached to the receiver, holding it down, in addition to the metal bar and two screws. I really had to pull on it hard to get it out of there. Also, I had to snip all the connections and remake the exposed ends because the wire nuts from the factory are permanently attached on the original connections. Other than that, once the power was restored and the light switch was flipped, I pushed the stop button on the remote for 10 seconds and then the light blinked twice. Success! I am so happy that I didn't have to replace my fan. I received an email with the FedEx tracking number when they shipped it on a Wednesday, and I received it on a Saturday. Since I placed the order on a Monday morning, and the Saturday delivery was outside the 3-day delivery promise, I followed their directions online to request a partial delivery charge refund. I quickly got a response from Princess, and she refunded $10.00 to my credit card. Sweet! Very responsive and friendly. I would recommend 1STOP lighting without hesitation. Thank you! read more

Worst customer service ever. You can't contact a human and if you try to make a return just past the 30days window they made up you are SOL and we all know how construction can have delays. They are not supportive or helpful you only get an online chatbot. read more

Would have given a 0 star! Avoid this company if you can they don't have any type of customer service or communication!! They don't have phone lines obviously because they would be listening to mad customers all day! All online chat. read more

I placed an order that was marked as fully delivered however half of the items were missing and never received. I have had no luck with their customer service third party provider, they website chat bot or other attempts to speak with someone to resolve this issue. It's quite frustrating! I've gone through their systems as they defined them but have received zero responses back. At some point I will have mark this as a fraudulent charge as they've not shipped items I've paid for and will not reply to resolve the issue. Bummer! I'm a Designer, I tried this site for the first time and I won't be back. My time is worth more than wasting over an hour on ineffective non-existent Customer Service. Very difficult to even get a live human on the line for Customer Service. BTW there's no live agent at "Live Chat". The site keeps you on the chat line as "next in line", then drops you after 25 minutes. I needed to return a light package I bought for a ceiling fan that turned out to be incompatible with the fan and replace it with the correct one. After twice wasting time with "Live Chat" I tried the phone line again. After 30 minutes on hold, I gave up, ate the cost of the first light package (I'll donate to Habitat for Humanity) and ordered the new, more expensive one from Lumens.com read more

Princess was a fabulous help with my return. The directions were very clear and concise. She made sure I qualified for the free return and also was able to waive the return fee as a courtesy because the lights that I received were not as described on the website. I had questions about the labels that she sent, and she replied very quickly. As long as I receive my full refund after you receive the lights back, I am very satisfied with the customer service that I received from your company! read more

I had ordered Capital Lighting outdoor sconces from them. The order didn't ship for 5 days, then I tried getting in touch with them, there is no phone number for Support. There was one guy in sales who asked me to get in touch with support but support is only available using Chat on their website, and that too was not available during their working hours. The one guy who replied back (after a few attempts to reach them) gave me incorrect info. Very disappointed with their service. I have just initiated a refund with Amex. read more

It has been a nightmare to deal with https://www.1stoplighting.com Do yourself a favor and do not buy from this company. There are many reputable companies out there that will stand behind their policy. I purchased Generation Lighting - Syll - 6 Light Bath Vanity end of January. The item arrived with the glass being damaged. I called 1stoplighting.com right away to notify that glass is damaged. I got a confirmation that the replacement glass will arrive in 2 days. 10 days gone by and I haven't received any replacement glass, I call them again. Ann from 1stoplighting.com told me that the glass is not available until end of March and they will send me a replacement unit instead. Again, 10 days gone by and I haven't received anything from this company. I called them again. Extremely rude customer service rep Gerard said that they can not send me a replacement unit even though their site shows they have 41 of this particular light in stock. The only option www.1stoplighting.com is offering at this point to wait over 10 weeks to receive a replacement glass. This is ridiculous. I requested to speak to a manager to make it right, however the rep said I can not speak to a manager if this is in regards to my current order since I will get the same answer. At this point I have no choice then open a chargeback with my credit card company since www.1stoplighting.com is refusing to resolve the issue. I spent countless hours dealing with this company to get a replacement glass that arrived damaged. Unfortunately, they refused to send the replacement glass as they stated it will arrive in 2 days. Please be aware, if you purchase anything from www.1stoplighting.com, and if there is a issue - you will go through a nightmare and wont get any resolution. Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere else. read more

Awesome, awesome, awesome customer service! They were super helpful replacing parts that I broke/lost. All lighting is really competitively priced. Really happy with everything I've gotten from them. read more

We ordered a lantern in black and received bronze. There is no way for them to track anything or provide you with any sort of customer service resolution. The prices fluctuate by the min making it impossible to pin point their own advertised info, this works to their advantage beacuse since their system does not provide them with relevant or up to date info, they cannot help you do anything excpet return the product with refund being 10% less the purchase price for "shipping". Their customer service is useless but also the kind of unpleasant that just makes me wonder how businesses like this can function even for a bit. Jhonjon Vestido is a special example of this. He was rude, defensive and condesending. His exact words were, "that he could not help us cause he was not GOD." Which is really a terrible excuse and not really as informative as he prob thought. Not for one second did I think God would be working in online retail. read more

Order #: 9316430 Ordered a $900 ceiling fan on 3/1/21, item said "IN STOCK, SHIPS SAME DAY"... Got an order confirmation that said something like, yay everything is good so far! lets hope they have it in stock like we think they do..... The very next day received another email "Bummer we went to fill your order and it ran out of stock and now is back ordered till 4/9".... so frustrating but ok we will wait... Just received an email "just received word from the manufacturer(s) that they are still trying to get those backordered items produced and ready for shipment. There is a NEW estimated ship date for these." Now "backordered" till 4/29!!!! not to mention that item STILL has "In stock ships same day"..... how? how can you continue to lie to people when you KNOW its not in stock? You knew it wasn't in stock when I ordered it over a month ago! Will I ever get this? read more

Ann Magat from 1StopLighting provided good customer service, although the process of getting to a live person was frustrating, as the AI chat bot works properly and the automated phone system ports you back to the website before terminating the call. Ann adequately handled a cancellation/return request that another person in her position failed to adequately address the previous day. I think she works for a company that undervalues customer service/interactions, and her talents would be better served in an organization that puts higher priority on her skill sets. read more

I ordered a fixture from 1-Stop DBA Elk lighting in April. I was given a ship date of Aug. 2 despite the fact that their own website says the item will ship Aug. 22, and other retailers have a ship date in Oct. My invoice has disappeared from their website. I cannot get to a customer service person - they only have a bot. In order to chat, one must agree to a privacy policy without seeing it, and I will not do this. Beware, this vendor is just awful. I purchased a couple of chandeliers for a job that I'm on, they sent wrong fixtures. After 7 phone calls, on hold for hours....6 photos of the item that were sent. I ordered this ceiling fan to replace a 24 year old fan that had developed a humming noise that was loud enough to make us turn the fan off. The new fan was at least as noisy as the one it replaced. To say "I was shocked" at the fast response and commitment to get a new fan sent to us is an understatement.
