One 09/01/17, I placed on online order for a lightning fixture from Quoizel Lightning Experts, which is operated by 1STOPLightning.com. The total order amount was USD 171.99. On 09/02/17, I received an email confirming that the item had shipped. At the same, my credit card was also charged. ... However, after reviewing the tracking number that was provided to me, it became clear that - in fact - the item had not shipped yet and 1STOPLightning.com simply created a shipping label for the order. At that time, the information on the ***** website suggested that the item may be delivered by 09/09/17. After there was still no confirmed shipment as of 09/06/17, I contacted 1STOPLightning.com's Customer Support (************) department. The agent (****) indicated that the order was still on track to be delivered by 09/09/17. In addition, the agent also confirmed that 1STOPLightning.com would honor its "2 Day Delivery or Get $25 Back" promotion and that I would find a corresponding refund on my credit card, which had already been charged for the original amount, within 24 - 48 hours. On 09/07/17, I reviewed the shipping status of the order again. Again, the order had still not shipped yet. In addition, the company's order status site suddenly indicated an order amount of $198.86, technically adding $25 plus taxes to the original order amount! There was no indication that the $25, which were promised the day before, were actually refunded to my credit card. It became clear that that 1STOPLightning.com was either unable or unwilling the complete the order by 09/09/17 and that I - without any details from the vendor - would have to procure the item from somewhere else. Since no shipment had left the warehouse, I contacted Customer Support (************) on 09/07/17 and requested an immediate cancellation of my order. The agent (Dominique) assured me that I could expect a full refund since there was no sign that any related shipment had either left the manufacturer's warehouse or 1STOPLightning.com's fulfillment center. Unfortunately, 1STOPLightning.com - to this date - has not been responsive to emails and has failed to refund me for the amount that has been charged to my credit card. I expect an immediate resolution of this matter since it not only questions the adequacy of 1STOPLightning.com's business operations. read more

We moved into a 3000 square foot house 2 years ago and throughout the house, someone had gone into a big box store and said "I'll take 25 of the $19.95 model. No joke! Stores may have a wonderful array of instantly and easily obtainable of lighting fixtures and on-the-ground staff (who may or may not have great customer skills) but the prices reflect the brick and mortar costs, storage, shipping, taxes and wages. Many lighting companies charge shipping costs and as we live in Canada, these are quite hefty. After what seemed like an endless online search -- sometimes finding a fixture at a good price and ordering it only to discover the company did not do deliveries outside of the continental US, I finally discovered 1Stop. We scoured this site and others for comparison purposes and finally settled on a light from 1Stop; the next morning we learned that the manufacturer had discontinued it. 1Stop offered us another discount as a courtesy and added to the Family Discount, the price of another fixture fell into our budget. In the interim, however, we had to try to calculate the amount already paid, combined with the Family Discount and the service discount. The calculated price was not working and so I called customer service. The first agent really tried but was unable to sort out the problem. Within the hour a senior customer service agent called me and already had resolved the problem. Throughout, the agents were courteous, helpful and obviously had received great customer service training. It is so rare these days that I was rather stunned by just how great it had been. The fixture is on the way and we can hardly wait to see it. As we will be starting a major renovation on the living/dining room, it may take a couple of weeks before the house is ready for the electrician but we are excited about getting the fixture in place. Kudos to 1Stop lighting on all fronts: a great selection, an easy checkout, offering discounts, great service staff and free delivery to the far north (we live a 40 minute ferry ride from Port Angeles in Washington state) :) A great experience and we have 26 more fixtures to replace. read more

I want to thank JV Gonzalez and Arielle Fishman plus the young lady that answered Arielle's number this morning, very early, for solving my problem, within 4 hours! I have been trying for 2 months, to talk to someone at 1StopLighting, in order to get some help with a return, due to a defective motor in a fan that I purchased back in April. The builder did not install it until around the 10th of May( we closed on the house on May 29). So I did not know it was defective until then. The light worked but the blades would turn slowly and then stop completely. I ordered several other fans from the and lights from 1Stop, and they have been fine. I spoke with Arielle on May 13th, and she gave me instructions on what to do to return it, which I did. I sent an email to 1StopLighting, explaining the situation, giving them the order # and the item#. I got an email the next day that said I would receive and RGA# within 24 hours. That was the last time I heard from 1Stop. I had left numerous voice and email messages , but never heard anything back. Today, I called Arielle's #, at 9 my time, which I know is much earlier there. A very nice young lady answered the phone and assured me she would turn it over to their team caseworker. Mr. JV Gonzalez emailed me, within the hour, got the information, emailed me back and we had the problem solved by 11am my time! I was shocked and elated that I got such a quick response!! He really made my day, because this was hanging over my head for almost 3 months! I really, really appreciate the personal service that I received from him and his willingness to help me solve the problem! That is a rare commodity these days, when everything is automated and it's hard to talk to a person that cares! Mr. Gonzalez, thank you so much for your excellent customer service!! GOD HOW IS THIS PLACE STILL IN BUSINESS??? I shouldve checked their online reviews before ordering from this place - this is a drop ship company which means they order everything from the manufacturers, and take NO responsibility in any defects in the product or mishaps in shipping - customer services is full of deceitful liars who will always overpromise and underdeliver. They will do anything to make a sale. - I ordered 4 Sconces and 1 chandelier for a room i was decorating. The first sales rep i talked to gave me quite a discount which is what hooked me in the first place. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN GET SALES. THEY ARE NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY, check their online reviews and you will see that 90% of their orders have problems. - When i received my order, i fully understood why they were able to give me such a big discount. ALL the items looked beat up and USED. 3 of the sconces didnt even work. I immediately called customer service and they had ME pay to ship the items back to them. WHAT?????? They also told me thats how the items were suppsoed to look......are you JOKING me? Talk about zero accountability. After about 40 minutes arguing with the CS rep, i finally opted for a refund even though i wouldve rather had the items i originally ordered in the first place. - After 2 weeks, i had to contact them again because i did not see any type of refund posted to my cc account. They told me accoutning was still processing my refund and i should see it within 3 business days. Fast forward to 2 weeks later...STILL nothing. I called again and they gave me the same story......It is now 2 months later and I have been calling in once a week. I am FED up and will call my CC company to dispute the charges. First of all, I was very surprised to see the poor ratings for 1StopLighting. Many times people don't understand logistics of supply chain. Quite simply put, the company that sells a product often is chastised for something that is not completely their fault. Case-in-point, I purchased a replacement bulb for a floor fixture. I sent pictures and measurements for this bulb and was grateful to have found a company that went above and beyond to find this item for me. Through no fault of their own, a similar bulb was sent to me but it did not fit. 1StopLighting immediately notified the supplier and requested that they send me a replacement with the correct measurements. As the product is made in China, it took about a month to receive the replacement glass. Unfortunately, it was a duplicate of the first one. I immediately notified Jeremey in customer service and he again notified the supplier in Georgia. They in turn contacted the manufacturer in China. Apparently, the bulb I needed has been discontinued but they sent another similar one anyway. This one turned out to be the correct size but couldn't be mounted on my floor lamp because it did not have an identical base. The good news is I was able to adapt it using some Yankee ingenuity and no one would know the difference. The bulb only cost $59. 1StopLighting could have issued a refund and we would have had to discard the beautiful lamp. But Jeremey never gave up on trying to please us. I'm sure they did not make a dime on the transaction as they had to pay for shipment of 3 rather large boxes via UPS. 1StopLighting's customer service, attention to detail and dedication is very commendable and appreciated. They hung in there for us even though the problem was not their fault. read more

Note*** this incident is from 2016. I hope this will stop other people from shopping at this place. I was just upset to see they were still doing business. At the rate they're going, I thought the place would be shut down. I'm happy to contribute my input and I hope this place does shut down. They're all scammers, ALL OF THEM!!!!!! Here's my story: Having been in the ecommerce business for the past 6 years, I can honestly say worst service I have experienced hands down. I ordered a light fixture on Oct 18th with delivery date of 11/2. That date came and went with zero updates. I then called on the 7th, and was advised expected to ship out on Nov 13th. I canceled my order. I then received an email saying the product had shipped anyway on the 13th. The order showed up on my doorstep, and shock of all shocks was not even the product as shown on he site. Light stain not dark as pictured. Called customer service and advised need to send back, and explained had been canceled. His response: I see we did get that, but the manufacturer did not get back to us and shipped it, so you need to pay to return and those instructions will take 2-3 days to get. It is also against card association rules to hold monies prior to shipment of goods, which they did for 3 weeks. In other words, they are using your money to then go out and hunt down products so in their best interests to delay shipment as long as they can, Filing a chargeback with my card company and calling the manufacturer direct. This operation is a sham. Avoid. I will be sharing their Yelp Page with all of my friends... this isn't the last time they'll be hearing from me. read more

My experiences so far with 1 Stop Lighting has been very pleasant and professional. I had to return a set of lights for new ones due to the size of the width, 1 Stop lighting was very professional and accommodating, sent the return labels within that day for return and received refund to cover the cost of the new lights I ordered. Dealing with Armando, Erik and Stephanie have been a pleasure and I will always purchase from 1 Stop Lighting. My new order that I purchased from 1 Stop Lighting of the Livex wall sconces [4] of them arrived today, 3 were packaged as new items, but the 1 was not, there was no protective plastic or protective packaging - the glass was not in a plastic bag nor was the actual sconce, I called 1 Stop and spoke to a lady who said she would issue a new sconce to be shipped to me and advise me as to what to do with the sconce not packaged or [it may have been used the wiring was loose and looked as thought someone sent it back without the original packing material. I haven't heard f rom 1 Stop Lighting to see if the new sconce has been shipped. My contractors is putting he lights up Sunday and my vanity counters are arriving Tuesday and I was hoping to have all lights up before Tuesday. My husband and I recently had the pleasure of working with 1StopLighting. We purchased a beautiful lighted ceiling fan and matching chandelier. Their prices where lower than other vendors and ordering on-line was very easy. During the shipping process we had a slight issue with Amazon who was the shipper that 1StopLighting was associated with and received delivered damaged boxes. (this is becoming a norm with Amazon). I am happy to say that it only took 1 phone call to 1StopLighting who never left us down. We had a tight turn around time as we are building a new home and had electricians scheduled and they did an immediate reship of replacement items directly and took full responsibility. During the entire process they kept us informed of the status, had an immediate turnaround and eliminated any inconvenience. The replacement fixtures arrived in perfect condition from FedEx and this vendor assumed all costs. You cannot always control what happens when shipping but the vendor can control what they do to make good to the customer. I was very pleased with how quickly they corrected the issue, how caring the entire staff was and that they turned things around to make our first purchase with 1StopLighting a pleasant one. I highly recommend this company. First when placing our order there prices are the best around and they are very professional. We ordered our lights and received them in a couple of days with no problem. Unfortunately my life turned around in one weeks time. My husband came home and could not get out of his car. I called 911 and he was brought to the hospital and diagnosed with Brain Cancer. We were devastated. He had to be operated on immediately. It's a very aggressive cancer not curable and as such has lost his job/career and our finances have changed. He was very handy and did everything. Now here I have the lights sitting in my hallway. I had called the company and they said that these particular lights were my responsibility to return back for a refund. The cost was going to be about $100.00. I didn't know this at the time and tried calling the company again and spoke with ANN with whom I explained my situation and she spoke with her boss JAZEL who said that he would help me. They were very kind and sent me the Federal Express Labels to return the items. You don't know how grateful I am to them. This shows the dedication to there customers and I definitely recommend them. I don't usually write reviews but I really wanted to share my great experience with this company. I ordered a very large metal cabinet from their website and it came sooner than expected. The packaging was torn off as the cabinet was to large to remove it in one piece. It ended up having a dent in the top of it and one of the doors stuck and was difficult to open and close. I followed up with the company and sent a few photos showing the damage, but their policy does say the packaging needs to be intact in order to return. They were pleasant and timely in corresponding with the problem and ended up giving me a full refund for the problem. I am so appreciative to have dealt with a company that treats their customers so great. I feel like most companies would have used the damaged packaging as a reason to not do anything and I would have been stuck with a huge, unusable product. (It was an expensive piece for ME, but a good price for what it was. It was something I was planning on investing in but it would have really affected me financially if unable to get a refund). DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY ! I ordered a fan and received the email which stated: "Date: May 7 So far so good, we received your order request smoothly! # The next step in the journey is for the warehouse to pull the product for shipment. At this point all you need to do is sit back and wait for our shipment update! " I went back to check on my order, yet no orders were found. I attempted to call the company twice, both times I was disconnected. I emailed the company and received an email which stated "Thank you for reaching out to us. Upon further review, your order was flagged as fraudulent in our system. As such, the transaction has been voided, and we are unable to process your order." At no time did the company reach out to me to ask about the order. I find this as close to bait-and-switch as possible as the light would have been purchased using the 20% code . Appears the company can not fill orders using the code. FOLLOW UP: I attempted to reorder the fan a second and third time, the results are the same. NOTE: As an update, I am a retired teacher with over 30 years experience. I am NOT a fraud and neither is this post. I stand by my word. This has been reported to the BBB as well. read more

I have to give this online lighting company 5 stars as they did everything that I asked. First I ordered a Crystorama chandelier (1stoplighting is a Crystorama authorized online seller) that I thought I wanted matching another online company's sales price. Two days later I had to go get a special light bulb at our local lighting store and saw a different chandelier (by Hinkley) that I liked better. I also found this one on sale at a different online lighting store & 1stoplighting matched their price. I received this chandelier in two days. I returned the Crystorama light (in an unopened box) back to the NY address and received my full refund to my credit card in two days. I did have to pay to FedEx shipping the Crystorama back, but that is what is posted on line about this company's lightnings returns. Hinkley's returns would have been free. When I spoke to the 1stoplighting repres, they were all nice and helpful...even when I asked to return the item as they had to send me a return email approval. I did follow everything that was in the email plus I sent them photos of the box that I was shipping back along with the tracking number. read more
