I opened an account with Sarai, who was super helpful and was engaging, she asked me about my goals, and offered me some options on how to get there. Kari and Chloe at the front counter were also amazing and helped me with a deposit that I made. The branch manager, Scott, also came and engaged in conversation a couple of times. All around the people are wonderful, and I couldn't recommend CU1 more!

Chase will harass and harangue you for personal wealth advisory services yet will not simply answer…read morephones during business hours 3 days running due to being purposefully short staffed at brick and mortar location in South Bend near Notre Dame. Have impending family business to address requiring a notary. Will now need to use a mobile notary service instead. Saddened and dismayed by poor customer service. My personal opinion is that customers deserve the same attention whether they have $25 or $250k in their accounts. Looking at diversifying funds between another financial institution due to this obvious lack of customer service. Word to the wise... if you need personal attention, even for a simple question, you must already be a customer and set an appointment online or have a business card in hand from your personal advisor. Wondering aloud to myself how they expect to get new customer base. Please do not expect this branch to ever answer the telephone as you will be sadly disappointed. The (800)935-9935 number you are referred to is AI awfulness and wants voice recognition, last 4 of SS#, debit or account number, 9 digit taxpayer ID #, then finally you are to select "0" for assistance yet it doesn't recognize "0" and simply tells you to try again & terminates the call. This has been an awful experience today. Stand firmly by my posted reviews. See call logs. Tried other cities even. It's prevalent practice at Chase Bank. Cautionary tale... I only post when awesome or awful. This experience has unfortunately been the latter! Awful. Lowered review from 3 to 2 to now 1 star as a result.

She continued to talk down to me and accuse me of not being a student for a student account when I wasn't even trying to open a student account. She then starting questioning me on my age. I told her there was an issue me trying to open an account online and as I was talking to the teller upfront while I waited she told me if could be a couple of issues. When I told the lady the teller said it might possible be this. She states "well the teller shouldn't be telling you anything because she knows nothing about opening accounts" I ended up walking out and will never sign up or tell anyone to use chase if this is the type of people they wish to employ.

After that day (it was about noon, not 3am), I swear by all that is good...I got 3 calls per day, EVERY day for a month straight.
