Our realtor April Love Raimond suggested we connected with James Walls with Secured Funding Corporation. We told him about our unfortunate mishap with the previous lender and immediately got to work on a house we wanted to put an offer on. James was thorough, precise and he always kept in contact with us via text/email if there were any changes to our loan and gave us phenomenal advice even after we closed! Most importantly he was also so patient with me when I asked him probably 20 million questions about the process! I couldn't recommend a better loan officer. The homebuying process as a first time buyer was difficult for me for a number of reasons - my…read moreagent was awful and completely unhelpful, I bought during the summer months so houses were flying off the market within days, and I was constantly disappointed by the houses I toured. Everything turned around for me once I started working with Bob (Robert) and Jessica. I called them at all hours of the day with a million and one questions and they were not only responsive, but also patiently explained every little detail that I was confused about (which was a lot). Bob came up with several different loan scenarios for me, all of which included every incentive program that I qualified for. After speaking with a number of different lenders and real estate agents, I realized that things like city-specific financial incentives are not common knowledge, even among experts in the trade. Bob knows his stuff and ended up saving me a LOT of money. He even called me once to say, "Great news - I just found a way to save you $1,500." Need I say more? I was also extremely grateful for Jessica, Bob's assistant. One time, Bob was in a meeting and normally, that's usually a sign to the client that they'll have to wait for a call back, but Jessica was so knowledgeable about my files and current situation, that she was able to help me with all that I needed herself. Bob also called to follow up after his meeting. Double win. I never even had to step foot in their office.
