Until now, I had never had a single issue and trusted the salon because their technicians consistently did a solid job. During my most recent visit for a manicure and pedicure, a newer technician was assigned to my pedicure. I didn't think much of it, as I've always had confidence in the staff. Unfortunately, while working on my cuticles, she cut my toe quite badly. She seemed unsure of how to handle the situation and repeatedly dunked my foot into the soapy water, which was painful and uncomfortable. At the same time, another technician was doing my manicure, and the combination of pain, confusion, and stimulation made what should have been a relaxing experience extremely stressful. The technician continued by applying nick powder repeatedly until the bleeding stopped, but the remainder of the pedicure felt rushed and incomplete. Very little care or attention was given afterward to make the experience better. To make matters worse, she then brought out hot stones and placed one directly on my leg without checking the temperature first, resulting in a burn. At that point, I was overwhelmed and began to cry. The owner came over and said he would "take care of me." Since the service was already halfway done, I chose to finish simply so I could leave. I was shocked when I was then asked to pay for the services, with only a 10% discount off the pedicure. Given that I was cut and burned during the same appointment, it felt careless and extremely unprofessional to even suggest payment for such a poor experience. Ultimately, I did not pay for the pedicure. Days later, my toe is still sore, and I'm genuinely concerned about the possibility of an infection. This was, without question, the worst pedicure I've ever had. I never expected to write a review like this about a salon I've supported for so long, but this experience felt unsafe and poorly handled. Accidents happen, but how they're addressed matters. I hope Polished takes this seriously, improves training for new technicians, and reevaluates how situations like this are managed. Unfortunately, I don't feel comfortable returning.

Revive nails is family owned, and I appreciate being able to see the small business I'm supporting. Mary is phenomenal, talented, very attentive, focused, and I've never had any issues with her work. Just like everything else, the prices have gone up slightly, but the quality is worth it, and from what I've heard, the prices are comparable, if not better than others in the area. The brochures haven't been updated yet with the new prices, but they've been taken off the shelf to avoid confusion. Mary updated my brochure with the prices (I wrote them in red to help with visibility). Update 6/16/23- Mary did a great job with my daughter's nails!

I've been here for a pedicure consultation and 3 pedicure appointments. So far, I have not been disappointed. Other than the standard and spa like treatments, there's also services dedicated to those who are diabetic, geriatric, and deal with harsh calluses and dry skin. My consultation with Vay (the owner) was for a couple of calluses and layered skin on a corn in between my little toe and the one next to it. She also gave me my first pedi. The seating was is very comfortable. She was friendly, focused, and thorough tending to my concerns. You can tell this is an art for her and she's serious about her work. I was nervous about it feeling uncomfortable, but totally the opposite. I left with my feet feeling amazing. The callus and corn between my toes was so smoothed out that I was pain free. Haven't experienced that in a very long time. No other salon tried to help with the layered skin, so I stopped going. The polish lasted about 3 weeks and pedi was good for a little over 4 weeks (the smoothness of what's between my toes). The salon itself feels spacious, clean, and I love the layout and color scheme. The music is loud enough to sing along to, but low to where it's not overwhelming. They also offer water and coffee. Despite the prices being a little high, it's been worth every single cent! You can also book appointments with a guest. Set up appointments that include a couple of services as well.

Going for waterless pedicure comes with alot of benefits.
