On 28 March 2026 while traveling to Tulsa Oklahoma from Medina Minnesota with my three sons and…read moredog, my GMC Yukon transmission disintegrated on I-35. I was stranded on the side of the road about thirty miles from Independence Missouri. My insurance Company notified a towing company who had the vehicle towed to Robertson GMC. The dealer ship was concerned that my family was stranded so they sent a man named Ray with his SUV and picked up myself, the dog and my three boys and took us to the Bass Pro shop in Independence Mo to wait for my father to drive from Tulsa to Independence to get us and take us to Tulsa while we waited for our Yukon to be repaired. Since it happened on a weekend the repair could not begin until Monday. I have to acknowledge Chris the assistant service manager who came in on his day off to sort out the details of repairing the vehicle so they could hit the ground running Monday morning. Now that's customer service. The assistance and caring attitude of this dealership sets the standard for customer service. I would like to thank Mike Robinson for setting the cultural climate of excellence, compassion and unity that this dealership operates in. The cohesiveness and team work I experienced by those employed there is a rare commodity these days. I want to publicly recognize Robbie Brook Service manager, Chris Assistant Service manager, General Manager Tim who called Ray to transport us to Independence and Roy Gates who drove us. Chris kept me informed about the progress of getting a new transmission installed and working with the warranty personnel. To say the process went smoothly would be an understatement. The process was flawless and the new transmission was installed in an expedient manner. I also want to thank the mechanics who installed the transmission for their expertise and knowledge. Your excellence in service is commendable. I picked up my Yukon Wedensday and drove it back to Minnesota. I am happy to say we have had no issues with as of today 3 April 2026. It is operating flawlessly. I highly recommend this dealership and the culture of excellence they have set for their community. Thank seems insignificant, but it is from the heart! KWE Tulsa Ok

Don't trust them.
