The first time I used them, my wife accidentally hit the garage door while backing out. I was out of town on business and they fixed it that same morning and didn't take advantage of a person who knew nothing about garage doors, since my wife was the only one home and they could have overcharged her if they really wanted. This time the torsion spring broke when we closed the door to leave for work, but didn't know about it until we got back home. I called them around 7:00 PM and by 7:30 the next morning they had someone on the way to fix it. less than an hour later they were done and we are back in business !! Thanks guys for a job well done, quickly and fairly.

After just under 2 years, one spring broke and in an instant, we were an unable to get our car out…read moreof our garage. I called Superior about a repair at 11:41 am and they gave me a 3 hour repair window that sams day from 12 pm to 3 pm. Since I have a daily standing medical appointment, I told them what time I would need to leave home. Little did I know that at 12:31 pm service tech Chris would be ringing my doorbell. Superior is 16 miles away from my house which means the drive is about 30 minutes. Talk about fast service, they have Jimmy John style of speed! Chris recommended that I have both springs repaired which makes sense and also will save a second service call charge of $140. Less than 1 hour later, the garage is back in service. Springs are rated to last about 10,000 cycles which is typically about 2 years of normal usage. We store 2 cars in the garage and the door will at least experience 4 - 8 cycles daily. Every time the garage door goes up is a cycle and every time the garage door goes down is a cycle. I honestly don't think we used the garage that much compared to my family and friends but since I don't have the statistics, I pretty much had no choice in paying to have the springs replaced. We use our front door a lot because we have cars outside the garage that are used and i have told the living companions that the garage door is not a front door and to be mindful of using the garage door like it is the front door. I think I will just have the springs oiled and inspected annually to see if they can last longer.

We used the door for a whole day before issues happened. The wire came off the spool again on both sides and this is the same issue I had him out for. I called when it occurred and was not given the best solution. I was advised there had to be something that touched it because it doesn't just come off without something falling or touching the door etc. We had not even been able to put anything back in its place because it was that quick of a turn around. Had Jeff been a bit more accepting that things do happen and he would gladly set up a time to come back out to check it out, sure I'd be happy. He arrived today after trying to call a few times. I had laid down with my baby to rest and did not answer the call. My husband let him in and explained the issue. Jeff was not pleasant and mentioned it was something we did to cause the issue. He tossed his tools around while in the garage and was clearly unpleased to return. Had he been a better sport about issues happen, it wouldn't be an issue with me. I absolutely will not use this company again. I'm all for using small businesses and such but when customer service is bad, there's not point. I have been nice customer and simply asked him to return to take another look. If anything else goes wrong with my door I'll be using another company for sure.
