In fact, from the moment he walked in to the room, he gave me third degree interrogation and questioned me over every little thing. Belittling my own medical knowledge (I understand medical stuff to a degree because I have multiple, chronic medical conditions - and know what my medical team had told me.). Literally demanding how I understood things like how I know things, like how I could read an xray and understand I didn't have a break (as if that isn't obvious). He then treated me like a drug addiction when I asked for a treatment plan, going off on how he wasn't going to give me pain medication THAT I DIDNT ASK FOR.  I literally only asked for a TREATMENT to treat or fix the injury and NOT  to treat the pain.  No apologies and even illegally refused to give me my xrays. When I ask the nurse if he was always like that, she goes "ugh... well yeah. The other bad thing is that you caught him at the end of the day. He only like to work in the mornings until noon, gets really hangry, and then likes to take a break for the rest of the day." I told her that's no excuse to be a dick, and she agreed with me. Also she said, "he's usually less grumpy early in the morning. So it's best to have appointments then." Sounds like a doctor no one should have to deal with if he's going to be a jerk to you just because you're the last patient of the day. And how lazy is it to just "rest for the rest of the day"??? Also feedback, literally one second looking at my foot with obvious dislocation on right ankle and possible stress fracture on left foot - the good doctor's suggestions? You're too fat and need arch supports. Thanks doc, you're so helpful for ignoring medical history and being a fat phobic doctor. Hope your medical degree is removed

So I didn't want to take any chances with it properly healing although I went to the emergency room and had x-rays done and scheduled a follow-up with a podiatrist to make sure everything is healing properly and get some advice on how to best make sure I recover well. Dr. Holtz was easy to see and I was able to quickly make an appointment for just a few days out. Easy to find in a strip-mall area by YNot Pizza off Kempsville with plenty of parking out front. I arrived as the first appointment of the day and there was no one else inside, so I was quickly checked in as a Sentara patient (since all my stuff is in the system) and only waited a few minutes to see the doctor. I really liked Dr. Holtz. He's very personable and friendly. He spent a lot of time with me answering all my questions and explaining what I had done to my foot and how it was healing. He gave me some good advice and went over my x-rays with me and reassured me that my healing was coming along nicely. We scheduled a follow-up appointment for a month for now but he told me to cancel it if I was fine because I didn't need to come in if I was doing OK. I'll be sure to keep this office on my rolodex if I need to come in for other foot issues and since I'm now running a lot I suspect some might crop up.

I see Dr Diaz for Diabetic foot care . For the past couple of months I have had an ulcer on the tip…read moreof a toe on my right foot that is still not healed properly due to the fact that I have what are known as Hammer Toes which cause those toes to rub on the bottom of my shoe. All of the items that can be purchased to keep the bad toes raised up do not work for my toes. I am scheduled for Surgery to correct the Hammer Toes soon but having a sore on one of the toes being operated on is not ideal, especially being a Diabetic. Dr. Diaz went above and beyond at my last visit to check my wound. He took different things he uses in the office and built a sling for lack of a better description that actually keeps that toe off the shoe. He is also going to do a procedure in the office next Wednesday and if it works I might be able to avoid Hammer Toe Surgery. This revue is strictly for Dr. Diaz. If you find yourself in need of a Podiatrist, you can't go wrong with Dr. Diaz.

They always recognize me because I call Dr. Diaz Dr. Foot. The office also has the practices for Sentara Hand Surgery & Sentara Vascular Specialists. So I walk in & greet them by saying "Dr Hand & Doctor Foot". Once the 3rd receptionists said "Don't forget me. I'm Dr. Vein." Today Dr Foot's receptionist said "You're here for me Ms. Carol." You couldn't ask for a friendlier group. Dr. Diaz was recommended to me by a friend. I was hesitant at first because the office was in Chesapeake, which I'm not familiar with. Finally I decided to make an appointment & couldn't be happier with his care. The first visit was comprehensive & thorough. His assistant took multiple X-rays of my arthritic feet & found problems on the bone that I didn't know I had. Dr. Diaz is great because he doesn't push surgery. He told me that surgery would be much worse than doing nothing. He stuck pins in the tip of each toe & determined I had Neuropathy in some toes because I couldn't feel the pin prick. Therefore he could safely cut my toenails on a regular basis since Medicare covers that problem. Because of my Rheumatoid Arthritis my toes shift & rub. Recently I was horrified to see that the rubbing had caused a scary spot on the inside of a toe. I sent a picture to Dr Diaz over the MyChart portal. Not only did he respond the next morning, he had his Assistant call to make an appointment for the next day. He treated the problem & gave me comfortable spacers to put between the two toes to prevent a reoccurrence. They've quickly become a staple in my life, I'm here for a followup today. Dr Diaz is friendly, personable & a great doctor. I highly recommend this practice.

So my question is what kind of facility is this.I will never come back in this clinic ever again.....I'm posting this so everyone will be aware of this clinic
