Disappointed. My husband and I hired them for our wedding back in October 2023. They work with the videographer company we decided to go with and the videographers suggested we go with them due to the compatibility but that was a mistake. A couple things: 1) We were supposed to have a Thank You photo session with our guests, that didn't happen. We inquired about it after the fact but their story kept changing. First they said they told one of the bridesmaids but no one had heard from them. Then they said they told our wedding coordinator, who we didn't have. Then they said they told the groom, and he says they didn't either. Sounds like a huge miscommunication that no accountability was taken for. 2) If you're tall, in my case I'm 5'8''; plus the additional heels put me at 6'', and you don't like the upward angle of photos, I would not recommend these photographers. They're short and the angles were not appealing to me, but that's personal preference. 3) We had a larger wedding group with 8 males and 8 females. When asked how we should pose, the only advise given was "to act normal" When the pictures came out, some of them had weird gaps and were not aesthetically pleasing. They select a few photos to edit but those weren't any better - I honestly edit the photos better myself. 4) I felt like there was down time where they could have been capturing more with their time. Maybe it's the language barrier but it felt awkward at times. 5) Picking up the photos was kind of sketch. We don't live in the area and were asked to go to someone's use to pick up the USB drive. When we arrived, there were other USB's there and no one to meet and greet. The delivery was unprofessional and work was subpar. I wouldn't recommend them. read more

We booked them for our engagement photoshoot and wedding day! The results came out amazing and I love their edits and work. Sophie was the main coordinator and she answered emails and questions quickly. Communication was thorough. We request Vuong to be our main photographer and we are so glad we did. First and foremost, I HIGHLY recommend Vuong and Sophie for any of your photography needs. We hired them for both our engagement and wedding day photography. After what we saw they could do with our friend's wedding shots, we knew they were the ones we needed to help make our special day great. Wedding Quick Tips!! 1. Vuong and Sophie can speak both speak Vietnamese and English well. 2. The cheaper packages come without significant photo shopping, but do include some lighting adjustments. We were so lucky to find 1abpro to do our wedding photos and engagement photos, but I'll just detail our initial consultation, engagement photos, and wedding day. Initial Consultation We initially met Sophie at her house in Garden Grove. She had an area setup as an office. At first, my impression was that this was a very family oriented business that didn't feel as professional as it could be. It led me to really great concern because Jenny had looked through many websites and liked 1abpro for their work as well as affordability. I'm so glad we agreed to their photos because they helped us take some of the best photos we've ever taken. We agreed to a package that costs $2,300 that included a 2 hour engagement photoshoot and 10 hours of wedding day photos (including Thank You Photos and Thank You Photo printing on the spot). Our package did not include extensive photoshopping, but did include light adjustment. Their other packages include photoshopping for those who are looking for more dreamy or touched up photos. At the outset, we wanted our engagement photos done in OC. They gave us a few options and stated that a 2 hour engagement photo shoot could be done at 1 location most optimally. This is because they include driving time within your photoshoot window. To clarify, the time starts as soon as they unpack and start shooting your photos, and if you drive to another place that's say 1 hour away, then 1 hour of your photoshooting time will be taken up too. They gave us several options and showed us samples. The big two were Irvine Regional Park or the beach at Corona Del Mar. They were also open to other suggestions from the both of us. We decided on the beach at Corona Del Mar. Engagement Photo Day On the Engagement Photo day the weather was absolutely perfect, except that it was blistering hot. We arrived and met up with Sophie and Vu. Vu is Sophie's husband and was the photographer. He was very nice and quite acrobatic taking some not-so-typical shots on top of rocks off the beach or other places. They helped us pose and make our staged shots very memorable. Unfortunately, as I mentioned, it was a very hot day. It was so warm that in the over 90 degree weather, I almost had a bout of heat stroke. Of course, silly me, didn't bring any water or any refreshments because we were supposed to be just having a photoshoot at the beach where it was supposed to be cool right? At one point, I had to take a break and Sophie and Vu offered to let me drink their ice water. I can't thank them enough because I think I almost passed out on that beach! Wedding Photo Day On the wedding day, Sophie and Vu were present along with another photographer that they brought to help us shoot our wedding. They worked with us on the poses and helped fluff out my wife's dress and make sure that our staged shots and poses were great. They were incredibly patient with our family who wanted to take endless photos. Their attitude was incredibly great and kind! They even remembered me almost fainting on the beach and suggested we try to take photos out of the sun. Fortunately, for the wedding we came prepared with water and refreshments to make sure that this groom didn't pass out. The Thank You Photos went flawlessly. They printed out the photos and everyone was happy with the quality of the photos that were printed. They were happy to take additional photos for anyone who wanted another copy or who were unhappy with their first photo. They really captured the spirit of our wedding and we are very grateful that they were able to help memorialize our big day. Initially, I was hesitant to write this review, because Vuong and Sophie seemed like nice people when we first met. However, being nice is not a correlation of professionalism, or in this case, the lack thereof. I feel that this issue needs to be addressed in honesty and as a constructive criticism for the sake of their future clients. You can read further for details, but the gist of the disaster is double-booking, left me with no bridal photos after our church ceremony, made me cry on my wedding day - intentionally of not, it happened. When I was looking around for a wedding photographer, I really liked Vuong's work on his website. Vuong is undoubtedly talented, and that was why we signed the contract with 1abpro in early January. We asked to have Vuong take our wedding pictures. Our mistake for not realizing that Sophie had put 2 other photographer names in the contract; I guess because they had already booked with someone else that day. Sophie also suggested we would take our engagement photos around the Pasadena area, or the Walt Disney building in LA because it matches with our wedding theme. She said that Vuong would contact us to take care of all that planning. A few days before our engagement shoot, our videographers (coming from SD) asked where we were going for the shoot. We contacted Sophie and she finally responded only to tell us to meet at 1pm in their office the day of our photoshoot, then they would let us know where we are going. This sounded weird to me because heading to LA at 1pm would be too late for a shoot. I messaged Sophie back to ask exactly where we were going. I was then told that it would be at a flower field in Costa Mesa. I did not want to make a big deal out of this even though we were not going to LA. I ended up asking if we could at least go somewhere that would match our theme, like the Cerritos Library. They agreed to that. Fast forward to July, the month of my wedding, I messaged Sophie to ask if they would still be at my wedding, Sophie confirmed that a total of 3 workers will be there (2 photographers, 1 assistant). Then Sophie messaged me at 9:15am the day before my wedding, and said that she would "try" to make it to mine. She never came and we had ordered an extra dinner for her because she initially said 3 people. On my wedding day, the two photographers they sent were very nice and genuine. I do like them a lot, and so did my family. However, there was a huge problem: They came unprepared. After our church ceremony, I asked one of the photographers where we would be going for the bridal shoot. He told me "I don't really know this area." How could you come to shoot a wedding without having a plan of where to go? After thinking about it, he suggested Crystal Cathedral, then CSULB, then we ended up going to Shoreline Aquarium because it was close by. When we arrived, there was an event going on, so he suggested to go to Huntington Beach Library. This was during heavy traffic hour and we had been driving around for nearly 2 hours without having a single bridal photo taken. Then Sophie called me when we were waiting at the HB library. Sophie said "According to the contract, you were supposed to be done at 2:30pm. We need the photographers to be back in the lab." I told her it was not our fault that we had to drive around, looking for a place to take pictures. Without an apology, she kept repeating "According to contract you need to be done by 2:30pm." If your team made a mistake, at least be lenient enough to let them take my pictures. If not, send someone else to take my pictures. You did not try to resolve this problem with me and cold-heartedly left me. I was already at the location, waiting for your photographers, but you made them cancel with me. You gave me the ONLY option of going to the restaurant at 5pm to take these pictures. I did not pay more than 2 grands only to have pictures taken in front of a restaurant. Additionally, my schedule was to be done with pictures by 5pm because I have many other things to take care of before the reception begins. The 2 photographers you sent made a mistake of not coming prepared, but they were willing to take my pictures. However, you did not allow them to do so, and made them cancel the entire bridal shoot with me. This was the part that left me utterly speechless and broke down crying in the car on my wedding day. So, I was left with no photographers and wasted hours driving around for NOTHING. Thank God when our videographers (from a different company) stepped in and offered to take these photos for us. They said to me "Let us take these pictures for you, because you will regret not having these." Consider yourself lucky if this company doesn't abandon you on your big day. I am sad that I even had to write this, because I truly liked you guys at first. The emotional stress you put me through was unquestionably inconsiderate, not cool, and utterly MEAN to make a bride deal with on her wedding day. read more
