Gastropub, sounds European or American, but only selling asian food, mainly Filipino. The dishes had names that made my filipino guest unsure about what he would be getting, sounded interesting and seemed like fusion. We didn't quite understand the menu. The place definitely needs some food photography, say on Instagram. For example Laing Rolls. Quite out of the way location, and went there looking for juicy steaks and burgers and pub food. Nope. No burgers. I also saw they have an extensive list of wines i'd never heard of, wanted to try a glass or two, however, they only offered Carlo Rossi by the glass. (Typical grocery store wine in Philippines). I thought id try the Caesar salad, however all salad would be made with butter lettuce, not the typical romaine. I did try the strawberry vinaigrette salad, No strawberries on the salad. Very small amount of lettuce, lots of cucumber. Staff. Sadly untrained, wait staff really did not offer any ideas or recommendations. I think this place is mainly a bar. It looks like the full bar prices are fair to good. This place has great atmosphere, very nice styling, the place could be great, try adding a prime rib night, or burger night. Excite the staff about how to sell specials so many things that could be done here. For now, just a bar on the far side of SBMA. read more
