This is the parking garage across from Miami Beach City Hall and a block from the Convention Center and the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. It is also only two blocks to the Lincoln Road Mall making it very convenient for area attractions. Floors are numbered and colored. There are almost 1.500 spaces so chances are good you are going to find one. Parking was only $2 an hour with a $20 maximum. You can pay at a kiosk to make exiting quicker or pay at the gate. Getting in was great but leaving was horrible. I was stuck in traffic for a long time when trying to leave. A lot of people were in town for the activities associated with the college playoff game. Still the price and convenience of location can't be beat. I also love that Miami has actual people at the exit gates so you can't get stuck. read more

Yeey, the best parking in South Beach. We found it back in 2013 when it was $1/ hour and now in 2019 it's $2/hour. Still the best parking price compared to the parking lots around with flat fees $20 and $30. Located right next to Lincoln Rd, behind Starbucks. Might be tricky to find and entrance as there are many one way streets. read more

I love the location if this parking garage. It's literally 7 min walk to the beach and bear restaurants. We parked there to go the Versace mansion which was a 10 15 min walk and it was so nice to walk on the beach front and know that our car was nice and safe. Price was really acceptable too for downtown south beach. I think it was 6$ for many hours of parking. The gate is fully automated and there are psy machines at the floor level. No fear of price hacking or getting ripped off kind of garage. read more

For weekly or monthly parking customers, you have to move your car every forty eight hours or else they will tow it away.

I had a 2 week project near this garage and it was the closest to the building I was working in. It's close to the beach and close to Lincoln Road, so I thought it would be expensive, but for a day of parking, it's less than $12. The guys who work here are really nice and they're quick to get my car back at the end of the day. I felt like my car was secure and safe. If I come down to the beach, I'll probably come back to this garage and walk to the water. Good garage! read more

My favorite parking spot in South Beach. $1 per hour for the first 7-8 hours. Perfect. $20 for 24 hours? Amazing. And your car is secure. I constantly see security walking around the premise. The location is ideal to Lincoln Road, the beach and many other places. Once I found this garage I've never parked anywhere else. A little note* Make sure to pay on your way to your car. If you prepay before you get in your car you can take the far left exit which leads you onto 17th street (making the left at the light). The line for this exit can get long, especially if you're doing a movie in the park or something else, but since you prepaid you can get in the prepaid line and leave without waiting. For some reason I never see people in that line. It's a great timesaver. read more

One of my fav parking areas in Miami Beach. It affords good access, ingress, egress, regress and parking at rates far less expensive than most parking areas. It's also handy to the Miami Beach Convention Center, the beach and Lincoln Road. When there is something happening at the convention center it can fill quickly and when everyone is leaving, there can be long delays as well as traffic snarls. However, you can avoid most of that by remembering to take your parking ticket with you. Then, when you return and are ready to leave, there are convenient prepay machines located next to the stairwells so that you can quickly exit through a separate prepaid lane of traffic by merely handing the attended your prepayment stub. read more

It's right next to the H&M in Lincoln Road and next to all the stores, this is also where I always park when coming to the beach as it's just a 10 minute walk and all the other parking garages close to the beach are way too pricey. Love this parking garage! We decided to park our car here because our hotel charged $35/night, which was not gonna happen! I'm glad I researched this before traveling to Miami. 1-8 hours: $1/hour 8-15 hours: $15 flat rate 15-24 hours: $20 flat rate The garage's entrance, the one facing the convention center, was kind of hidden. It was hard to find at first which probably explains why there's always so many parking spaces . We parked our car every night on the same spot right next to the elevators with no problems! The area seemed secured. I've seen a few cops drive through there all the time. My hotel was near Lincoln Rd so it took about 7 minutes to walk. The garage stayed clean and the elevators didn't smell like urine like most garages on Miami Beach. Definitely will park here again next time! read more

This place totally saved my buns in Miami Beach. I was unaware that MB is a black hole for parking. It's miserable. You can't park anywhere. The valets charge you between $20 and $50 to park your car. So my first advice is: Don't take a car to Miami Beach. My second advice is: Use this garage. It's $1 an hour or $20 total. Conveniently located behind Lincoln road this Parking garage is one of the few on the beach that doesn't try to rip you off every weekend. 9/10 times its a dollar an hour. Every once in a while its a flat rate if there is a big event at the convention center. This parking lot is operated by the City of Miami Beach. I think it's the most inexpensive parking lot for Lincoln Road and you don't need to remember to feed the meter. There are three entrances to the parking lot: 1) the main entrance at Convention Center Drive and 17th; 2) Lincoln Lane and Meredian Ave (SW corner of the garage near Macys) and 3) Pennsylvania Ave and Lincoln Lane (SE corner of the garage). During the day, you can normally exit at either the Main Exit off 17th the Pennslylvania Ave exit. There are two main elevators or stairs 1) the one on 17th Avenue which I usually park if walking to the Convention Center and 2) the one in the SE corner of the garage when walking to Lincoln Road. That elevator is usually non-operational. Be sure and make a note where you parked as it is sometimes could be difficult to find your car. Before leaving you can pay at the parking machine or give your money to the parking attendant. A word of caution, when you initially enter the garage, if there are Special Events at the Convention Center, there will be attendants taking a flat fee for parking more than 4 hours. If you don't plan on spending more than 4 hours in the garage, tell the attendant that you wish to park by the hour. They'll say okay and give you your parking ticket. There are early bird specials depending on the time you arrive so don't expect to pay the same amount every time you park there. I will say again that I think it's the best place to park if dining on Lincoln Road. The only times it gets full is during the Boat Show, Halloween or during some other special events. read more

And the best part is that you only pay when you leave, unlike meter parking where you need change and have to estimate how long you need to pay for. Am I really reviewing a parking garage? Well, for an urban parking garage, this one is awesome! It is ONE DOLLAR AN HOUR, no bull, to be within blocks of the beach and a single block from the heart of Lincoln Road, and you can always find a spot. Sometimes leaving can be a slight pain in the ass if there is a big event, and last time I went the gate malfunctioned when I put my parking ticket in, but it was taken care of fairly quickly. Additionally, I have never been mugged or burglarized there, and I don't even think I have ever seen a bum in the garage, let alone felt unsafe. P.S- Please don't park in this parking garage. read more

Great place to park if you're looking for a bargain. For a buck an hour you can't beat it with a stick. I have a monthly parking permit and it only takes me back for $74.00 month. Good luck with the waiting list though. When I applied many years back it took me almost two years to get a pass. I did have a couple of incidents where someone hit my car while parked and another where my side mirror cover was stolen. On that note, the security can definitely get beefed up a bit. But this did happen over a nine year period of parking there on a regular basis. I guess my luck wasn't too bad after all. It still beats parking on the crazy South Beach streets with all the drunk party goers passing by ready to unleash havoc on your innocently parked car. read more

*RANT ON* Sometimes redundancy is extremely annoying. Yes, I mean the Miami Yelp talk threads where you see "Hi, I'm coming to South Beach, can you suggest places for me to yadda, yadda, yadda?" It's a good thing there are helpful Yelpers. *RANT OFF* On our first night in Miami Beach, a local informed us of the difficult-to-find street parking situation in South Beach. He suggested a cab or even a bus. I don't think so. We're driving! This parking garage is a "self park and lock" business. There are plenty of spaces. You get a ticket as you enter, keep it with you and pay for it when you return to the lot (before you get your car). One grievance was paying in singles (paid $4). Why isn't there an option for plastic? This place is a gold mine for those who want to dine in the Lincoln Road/Lane area restaurants (we parked here to check out Sushi Siam [http://www.yelp.com/biz/sushi-siam-miami-beach] and Vino [http://www.yelp.com/biz/vino-miami-wine-bar-and-boutique-miami-beach]). I've been here during the day and in the evening and have yet to ride around and around and around, all the way to the top, searching for a spot. It's just been a "grab ticket, make a left, park" type of deal. The location is great - it's right behind Lincoln Road. This probably has to be one of the most affordable and accessible parking garages I have seen by the beach. Lots of parking spaces available! The only con I could think of would be that I did not get much help from the parking attendant when the parking ticket machine would not accept my ticket. Frustrating, but I did get out! Just to clarify their was no acutal parking attendant there, but I pressed the help button and only got screamed at and was told to talk the parking attendant who was absent. lol Park here if you ever want to shop on Lincoln Road. Thanks to Yelp and the people that use it we found this amazing parking. It wasn't easy to find at first, but then we realized is the Lincoln Mall right by Macy's and in front of the City Hall. There is always space and since is in a building the car stays in the somber. Price is great 1$ per hour up to 6h, especially compared to all the local parkings right next to it (15 to 20 $ flat rate). The beach is not far. read more

if i have to go to the beach anywhere from 12th to 25th. i always park in the 17th street garage. there's big wide double lanes, wide corners (so no head on collisions), well lit, tons of parking spaces, a few elevators and staircases. it's the cheapest parking lot too. $1 an hour. and here's a little secret, if there's an event going on and you don't want to pay the $8, $10 or more flat rate... just tell them you want hourly. it's right off the back of lincoln road... just walk out through the back right exit and it'll spit you out by Buck 15, Laundry Bar, Miss Yips, and Creme. there's a secret little walk-through there as well. happy parking. read more

Overall: Highly recommended - safe and far enough away to be easy to navigate to. We ended up leaving our car in the garage quite a bit during our stay (over 50 hours combined), and I was a bit worried being a rental with a GPS unit that it might get stolen (or attempt to at least). There were no security problems whatsoever. The entrance is just north of 17th street, right across from a large surface parking lot. The first time you try to get in can be tricky because there are some one-ways, but you will have a much easier time the second time. It is right near the convention centre. We found that because it was extremely easy to access via Dade Blvd, we were able to avoid most of the horrible traffic you find in South Beach by "sneaking" in the back way (or so it seemed). Take your ticket with you to pay on your way back (accepts credit cards) as others suggest. read more

Pretty much as cheap as it gets, has multiple ways to exit and enter walking, very big and spacious, has open stairs so its not some smelly stairwell. Gotta love it, always park here when I go to the concerts at the Gleason Theater. Also right off of Lincoln Road so it's the perfect parking for anywhere near that area, and if you don't mind walking a bit. read more
