I will start with the cons: * Small bedroom, as in "walk around the bed hugging the wall so you don't trip on the bed" small * Narrow & tall spaces to hang clothes; so tall that the hangers are well above my head (I am 5'6") * almost no hooks in bathroom to hang things, & no towel racks. There was a double hook on the back of the door, & one small hook next to the sink. While the room was small, there was room for a few more hooks between the bath & the door, but the wall was empty. Not great if you are bringing towels back from the hot springs. * Not accessible. Short stairs to get into every room Now for the pros: * You should stay here for the continental breakfast alone! Great hot breakfast items that change every day, with vegetarian items, & enough healthy options that I felt ok trying the French toast casserole both days. Hey, the fresh fruit cup balanced it out! * room had a full kitchenette, with a large mini fridge, small stove & oven, microwave, Keurig & kettle. Decent selection of dishes & cookware, including wine glasses. * shared BBQ space in the gravel lot * outdoor seating area on the deck in front of each door * 2 tvs, one on the bedroom wall & one in main room * walking distance from some shops & restaurants, including Casa Vino wine bar. Short drive to the hot springs * friendly & helpful ownership & management Definitely will stay here again; the price was quite reasonable for a last-minute holiday weekend booking!

We were all picked up at 6:30am in Banff. A large, roomy, heated van arrived that was comfortable and for two hours we headed to the mountain. Upon arrival we were fitted with helmets, avalanche detection equipment and a brief orientation. We headed out and onto the snow mobile for some fun in the snow. About an hour in we stopped for a small hike up to a frozen waterfall and placed our lunch order to the chef's at the cabin. Upon arrival to the cabin it was snowing heavily, and truly magical. Lunch choices were bratwurst, beef or veggies burgers and hotdogs with chips. Choices of hot beverages and a cookie for dessert. Our guide was Felix and he was awesome! Patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely make reservations well in advance, dress in layers, be sure to have a pair of insulated, waterproof gloves and enjoy your trip! Enjoy!
