Very friendly, honest, and good turnaround times. Happy to use 1500 as my neighborhood cleaners!

This business has earned my patronage for life as far as I'm concerned. Not only are they extremely kind and friendly, while offering incredibly reasonable prices, but they practically worked magic for me. My graduation dress -- white eyelet cotton -- had been in storage for over a year and had yellowed considerably in that time. I brought it to them, and though they warned me they might not be able to fix it, when I picked it up it looked AMAZING. I almost cried with how happy I was; I wasn't sure I'd ever be able to wear it again, but they brought it back to life. Additionally, any cosplayers around should know this is a great place to bring cosplays. They're very knowledgeable about what fabrics, alterations, etc. can stand up to their process, and quick to offer advice if you should look into another cleaning method. They're very non-judgmental as well -- I brought in a maid dress and a suit that was covered in cat hair from my cat sitting in my suitcase after a con, and they didn't even bat an eye. All in all, fast, affordable, and QUALITY services makes 1500 a clear pick for dry cleaning in Center City! read more

I've been using this cleaners for about a year now and as of today will not be going here any more. I've used all of their services: leather cleaning, dry cleaner, shirt laundering, and tailoring. All cleaning is done off premises and returned in a timely basis. All tailoring is done on site. Prices are reasonable and what you would expect for Center City. CASH ONLY! However, I have gotten back my shirts numerous times in the past few months with oil stains and starch stains (even though I get everything done with NO starch) from the steam presses. I don't know if this is the real cause, but the stains weren't there when I delivered the shirt. After a second cleaning, the stains were gone. It was just annoying, that's all because I either couldn't wear the shirt or had to wear it with a sweater. Shirts are $1.50 each and dry cleaning is 20% off if you bring it in on Tuesdays. read more

1500 dry cleaner is my go to for all dry cleaning services. I needed a last minute alteration to a suit i was wearing for a friend's wedding and not only were they understanding about the situation but they were able to fix the suit and had it back to me the very next day. 10/10 would recommend. You will not be disappointed in thier services. read more

Best cleaners in Philly. They cater to all of your needs and are very flexible based on your schedule. Best customer service I've seen in a while, and to top it off, they're GREAT people. Highly recommend read more

GREAT dry cleaning service. I was searching for a tailor in the area and decided to take a chance on this place. The inside is surprisingly nice and clean for a dry cleaners and they even have 20% off on tuesdays which is nice. The pricing was great and the workers are extremely friendly. When I brought in my bridesmaid dress (which was a couple sizes too big), they tailored it so that it fit like a glove! I needed it ASAP (due to procrastination on my part) and they were nice enough to give me a quick turn around. Definitely worth every penny. read more

First strike-- I paid a fair amount of money to have a bunch of shirts very poorly pressed Second strike- The service on another occasion was slow and my clothes weren't ready as scheduled Third strike-- They completely ruined my fiances dress two days before our engagement photos. Took a one of a kind dress and managed to press out the pleats which made the dress flow. My fiance was furious and so upset DO NOT USE THIS CLEANERS. They are over-priced, tend to be unreliable, and do not do their own work. Everything is shipped out to some incompetent cleaner. I really hope they tear this place down and extend 1500 Locust Apartment's lobby. It should no longer be in business. Overall: 0.5 stars (for trying to do something) read more

Excellent and friendly service. I was badly in need of getting my measurements taken to order a custom-tailored outfit. Several members of my family recommended 1500 Cleaners. The young woman was friendly and courteous and insisted on taking the measurements without charge. I was favorably impressed with the establishment and plan to return. read more

DONT COME TO THIS PLACE!!! I sent my two sweaters in not only the stains did not come out of the sweater ( not even become lighter) but also I got two holes in my sweater! The lady there told me she is going to do me a favor to talk to the factory. So she's DOING ME A FAVOR??!!! read more

1500 - I bring in my sweater to get the lipstick stain removed and this is what I got after they clean it - Laundry Services Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

These guys are the best. I am using their services since the past 2 years and they have always delivered. The staff is very nice and Christie is extremely knowledgeable. I never have to worry about my clothes with them. read more

Christie is SO nice and helpful. She measured me for a dress that I am getting made for a wedding. She was very knowledgeable and helpful! I will definitely be back to get things tailored with her and dry cleaned. read more

1500 Cleaners is a rarity. It's clean when you walk in, they accept credit cards (including American Express), and the ladies that run the business are some of the loveliest people you'll meet. I started bringing clothes here for work a few years ago, and they constantly go above and beyond to acquiesce to my last minute requests and demands. They point out stains I don't notice and get them removed, they keep track of pocket squares or collar stays I leave in by accident and return them cleaned at no charge, and always with a smile and a thank you. I've also trusted them to tailor some of my more expensive items and all have been handled with the utmost care. I moved further away from them last year but continue to use them exclusively. When you find a dry-cleaner this good, why change?! read more

I am perfectly happy with the friendly service, the clean space, and the delivery option. My clothes are always treated well and returned in good shape. I also had a bridesmaid dress hemmed here and it was done exactly right. read more

This place is horrible. Avoid at all costs unless you want to be given back stained clothing. I recently moved to Philadelphia and have used their services exclusively for shirt laundering. At least half of the shirts I have given them have been returned with oil or starch stains (Even though I stated NO STARCH). The proprietor declares that they were submitted in that fashion but, unsurprisingly, has no proof to back up his claims (Stories of notes taken on the stains do not hold water when you cannot produce those notes with corresponding dates). Stay away. read more

Very consistent. Bring your dry cleaning in on Tuesdays and get 20% off! I usually try to point out the stains because they have missed them before, but then they redo it for free. The people are so nice and do a great job hemming! I always bring my dresses here! read more

I love this place for its wonderful staff and service. I have been coming here for years, and have always been satisfied with the cleaning. All their team deserves 5 stars. I see they are some unsatisfied reviews here but my experience has always been excellent. Totally recommend. read more

The folks at 1500 Cleaners are fantastic! The staff is extremely nice and professional - they really care about their customers. I was recently married and, on the day before my wedding, I brought my brand new shirt to be pressed at this location. When I left the store, my phone quickly rang and it was the cleaners. They noticed a pink dot on the front of my shirt! I was in a panic; however, they assured me that they would work quickly and take care of it. This was a custom shirt, so I could not replace it in time. Fortunately, by the end of the day, they returned the shirt to me in PERFECT condition! I highly recommend this dry cleaning service. read more

This is the best cleaner I have ever been to. I started coming here because I work 30 seconds away. I keep coming back because the people that work here are great and they do great work. I wear a lot of dress shirts and suits so I am here constatntly. I also take clothes here to be tailored several times a year and have great results. The store is very clean and the owners/employees are extremely nice. read more

Not sure why this place has such bad reviews, but I've been using their services for over a year now and have been nothing but pleased with the results. They are friendly and tailoring job is excellent. I had my Ugg boots cleaned here and looked new when I got it back. read more

These people are terrible and deceiving. Their store looks very professional, and everyone working there are kind and accommodating. HOWEVER, THEY SHRINK ALL OF OUR SWEATERS! In the process of looking for another cleaners. read more

1500 did a very nice job altering some pants and a suit of mine. Their service is friendly and the location is convenient. I recommend!

This is a customer service gem that I stumbled upon earlier today when I was frantically running between meetings and remembered I needed to get measured to order a bridesmaids dress by phone. The staff was beyond friendly and offered to measure me despite the fact that I was not a paying customer. I even offered money for the service, but was politely declined. I am WOWed that there are still good hearted business people like those at 1500 - I will definitely be back. read more

Absolutely hate to give a negative review, but I tried repeatedly to make it work with them but the wash and press was very wrinkled, and they did not care at all and expected me to pay full price. Unfortunately i will be going elsewhere in the future. read more
