There's a lot of unnecessary add ons and inflated prices - plus I suspect the clinicians are paid through incentives to extract teeth and land extra inflated price treatments (especially SRP deep cleanings). Being aware of this business model helps you make an informed decision. When you do decide what you need, cross out those expensive line items you don't want, or need, and pay only for what is necessary. Do this before you pay $ in advance. My experience with office staff and hygiienist was good. They were all very helpful and responsive to my requests. I feel I recieved value for the money spent. My mouth is healthier as a result! The dentist gave me what I needed to resolve my emergency. All was great- except for the time after my initial exam during proposed care-plan (14k!) - I was shook and felt like my mouth was a money cow. Minus one star for the stress.
