I used to stop in at least once a week when I worked at the gym. After I moved to a different gym, I was only there when visiting my parents in the neighborhood. Since I now live in Florida, I obviously do not come here often. I was friendly with the staff and owners when they were in the store very often and I frequented here a lot. When you work in the shopping center, everyone from the stores get to know each other. They were always personable and cool. They even gave my free glasses a couple of times. I recently returned when visiting my parents. Pops and I ran out of wine and ventured there. The store was the same as when I was last there. The staff was completely different though. They were not friendly or approachable either. I honestly felt like I was a teenager again shopping at Claire's... I browsed everything to compare the prices in FL. When I show up, they claimed they just sold the bottle 30 minutes earlier and they don't see my order even though the owner stated that he saw my order in the morning and was the one who confirmed it in the first place. A number of questionable things happening here. 1. Why was the bottle not set aside when you confirmed it? 2. If I can log into your website and see my order but you can't, that means you're either extremely unknowledgeable about your own system or you're just lying. 3. I was charged on my card which, because they were "unable to see my order", they couldn't refund me. Yet the second I left the store, they found my order because it was cancelled. Now, this was a highly sought after bottle that was priced above MSRP but not wildly high like most other products in this store. So, my suspicion is that the owner felt he wasn't getting enough for it and decided to make up a story with way too many holes in it to make any sort of sense. After being a loyal customer for years, I was met with extreme disappointment when I discovered the full elimination of "Door #1" (the beer selection). The entire section of the store has been removed. No more beer, no more snacks, no more cigars, no more drinking games, no more kegs, no more of life's simple pleasures. With this dismantling, I do not foresee any type of return in the future.
