Encouraged by the positive reviews for Daniel-Keck (Le Rumbo) taxi, I called fairly late in the evening, saying that I needed a taxi at 6am. Francois (I learned his name during our ride to the airport) said that it was not a problem to be at my hotel at 6am - in fact, he said that he would be there at 5:45. At 5:45am the next morning, he texted me to say that he was outside waiting, just as he said he would. The taxi was clean, the driving was safe and professional, and he was very pleasant. I was so grateful to get to my early morning flight on time. Very dependable, courteous and kind. I will definitely use his service again the next time I need a taxi in High Point.

I rec'd confirmation of my booking in seconds, followed by a text from Raymond (who I later learned was the owner). Beyond this, Raymond was my driver. He offered some heartfelt kindness in a down time for me, which clearly goes far beyond what anyone would have expected or anticipated from a ride to an airport. It seems there are plenty of truly kind-hearted people still around us.... Consider Tesselate for your next ride.

Then, there were supposed to be two busses picking the wedding guests up at 10:00 p.m. - but when we got outside - there was only one bus there. About 30 guests had to sit in the parking lot at night (the wedding was at a remote site) for one and a half hours for the bus to return - very embarrassing for my family!!! And Barefoot Transportation only made excuses for it. Guess the contract terms and pick-up times are meaningless.

On the inside of the trolley are historical photos. The service is free and has stops on most blocks in Downtown Greensboro, as well as stops at the Moses Cone Hospital Campus, State Street Shopping and Revolution Mill. There are stops at the Marriott hotel, Tanger Center, the International Civil Rights Museum, and Center City Park. It goes down to the railroad tracks and makes a loop back through, possibly, a residential neighborhood. The trolley is to come around to each stop about every 15 minutes. It operates on certain days of the week, but the hours have expanded in 2026. The trolley is accessible, though the driver's ability to pull over safely depends on the lane traffic and turn radius at certain stops. When I first started riding in 2023, you could get on anywhere and be dropped off anywhere on the route. But I noticed in 2025, they were stricter about picking up and dropping off only at the stops. I don't think there were as many stops in 2023, though, so every block makes sense. I think ridership would increase if it made all stops. As I've never seen many riding the trolley. It didn't stop for me at the marked stop, likely because the driver had to make a wide left turn into the one-way street while the stop was on the right. Since ridership seemed low, he probably wasn't expecting anyone to be waiting across the street from Corner Slice, but he was very kind and apologized when he pulled over farther up the road.
