I've been an on-and-off patient of Dr. Doam Kim since 2011 when I first went to him for my first-ever acupuncture therapy over excruciating back pain. Since then, I have gotten packaged medicine prepared for me to overcome night sweats in winter and followed Dr. Kim from Fort Lee to the current Englewood Cliffs location for occasional acupuncture. Dr. Kim has is very professional, patiently explains his diagnosis, and truly cares for the patients. When I had to get the above medicine made again, he recommended that I take the ingredients he wrote down to go make a pill version while I'm visiting Korea because his version of vacuum-sealed liquid medicine is expensive and it's not the most cost-effective treatment for my condition considering how Chinese medicine focuses on changing the body's nature over a long time instead of doing a quick fix, and mine was gonna take at least half a year. On my most recent visit a few months back for acupuncture, they followed up on the acupuncture and cupping routine with a soothing massage as well to relieve my aches. I've been recommending this place ever since my first visit, and continue to stand by their excellence. Thank you Garam!

It was really hard to get an appointment with a specialist without missing work, so I went to Dr Kim's Acupuncture office instead. My trigger thumb condition, i.e., the inflammation on my right hand, started improving starting with my third visit through acupuncture. After a couple of months the inflammation was under control and Dr Kim said that I could stop coming. My hand is 100% cured at this time. I consider the healing of the trigger thumb as a significant accomplishment because the other options are to get pain injection or surgery. I know from friends that the trigger finger/thumb can come back a few after pain injection treatment. But this is not the case when you're healed through acupuncture. Many thanks to Mr Kim and his staff for the top notch treatments. Everyone in this office are very nice, friendly, respectful and very professional. The 15 minutes massage therapy at the end of the session is included in the visit, and I would definitely recommend.

What can I say...I was pleasantly surprised!…read more It's Funny how i came across this place. I was a member of my son's PTA Board and I received an information packet on the services offered by the chiropractic center so I invited them to the school health fair. I admit I was a bit skeptical. I said to myself, if they are so great why are they advertising? I'm guilty of judging a book by it's cover. A BIG MISTAKE! Anyhow, Dr. Dave gave a presentation on wellness, spinal health and so forth. I was so impressed that I decided to visit the chiropractic center since I've had some health issues. I suffered from chronic headaches, neck pain and extreme fatigue. I've been a patient of Dr. Dave since May 2010. It's now August and I feel FANTASTIC! I haven't had one headache or migraine since. I have more energy and I'm no longer fatigued on the treadmill after 5 min. I can run longer and stronger and still not feel tired. My sleep pattern is better, work life better, it's weird but my entire mood is just different. Dr. Santucci is also with the practice and he's excellent too. I saw him once when Dr. Dave needed to leave the office. I was just as pleased. He gave recommendations to other doctors in the area who share the same beliefs the total health and well-being of their patients. As for their office staff (Lori, Diana & Marty) They are friendly and very professional. I believe they know every patient by name. It's a very cozy atmosphere. They accept most insurance plans and even if you don't have insurance; payments are affordable. Their philosophy is no one should be afraid to come into their office because they don't have insurance. Try this place out. I guarantee you will be pleased :)

He was extremely attentive and concerned. Before any acupuncture he asked about my medical history and took my blood pressure. Then he explained where the needles would be inserted by touching each area of my head, face, neck, hand, arm and foot. He reassured me the areas he would use were safe for pregnancy. After sterilizing the areas he began his treatment. I am not a fan of needles, but desperate times call for desperate measures... hahaha. He put soft music on, dimmed the lights, put a heat lamp on my feet and covered me with a blanket/towel to keep me warm and comfortable. He checked on me a few times, and after about 20-30 minutes he removed the needles, cleaned the sites and used massage and acupressure to continue the healing process, that felt soooo good. I felt normal again!. He then asked if I had extra time, because he wanted me to lay on my stomach so he could treat my neck and back where he said most migraines originate from. I happily agreed. I was there 2 hours because of his attentiveness and concern. I continue to go to him for his compassion and knowledge. After talking with him, I found out his whole family practices acupuncture... He is a gem. His treatment was $70 and I had to submit it to my insurance for reimbursement, as he does not handle claims.
