Several dentists say I'm the funniest person they'd ever met (this is not bragging, it's a pitiful confession) until they notice I've been in the chair for hours. But with Dr. Monteiro I didn't say one funny - she was quick, professional yet friendly, painless, took time to tell me what she was doing before she did it, and used lots of cool, state-if-the-art instruments. She and her dental assistant seem to almost read each other's thoughts and things get passed back and forth while I caught up on the "Help I Wrecked My House" show. I didn't leave em' laughing, but I exited with a smile.

I never imagined that I would write a review of an Oral Surgeon, but following my experience with…read moreOSA and Dr. Alkhatib, I felt compelled to share my feedback. I (like most people) dread the idea of oral surgery and was worried when my regular dentist explained that I would need to have two molars extracted due to a crown that was never quite right and caused the decay of the adjacent tooth. Long story short, my experience couldn't have been better. The staff was very friendly and understanding and the doctor did an amazing job. The teeth were removed and the recovery was virtually painless, even with just ibuprofen. I would certainly recommend Dr. Alkhatib and OSA in Fairfield.

Dentist fear, NO MORE!…read more I used to be deathly afraid of the dentist. No longer! Dr. Dejesus Dental Group made me feel right at home and squashed all my fears. The dentists are amazing and the staff is incredibly friendly. I have been suffering from TMJ problems for over 10 yrs. My jaw would click and even get stuck open! It was incredibly painful- until I saw Dr. Dejesus. After enduring extreme pain for years, there was a simple fix: an NTI. It's a small dental appliance that I wear during the night to stop grinding my teeth and sometimes during the day when I feel myself clenching my jaw. This wonderful, wonderful NTI has now caused my jaw to stop popping nearly altogether. I'm pain free!! I never thought that could happen! In addition, I have terrible (awful) anxiety. The dentist worked with me until I was no longer afraid and comfortable. They were very patient with me. I wore my headphones and just relaxed. I never thought that was possible. This was the best dental experience I have ever had! I will certainly be returning!!
