The owner was friendly and directed us to a small shop across the street that uses their beans. The coffee we had was good though not as serious as lever machines. They support local businesses by displaying some local mugs and other items. They roast the coffee themselves in shop and they ship all over the US as well! The staff, which was a family affair (we love), was super friendly, informative, and full of smiles.. oh! And they know their coffee!! We were just passing through town to head back home when we tried this place but man do I wish I could've packed them up and brought them with me to Houston!! Great work Artistic Bean Family!

I have enjoyed a coffee here while stopping by on a visit to the main library…read more I've also stopped for lunch or a snack when visiting the library. The location is comfortable and has a great selection of coffee drinks and other flavored drinks, as well as sodas and water, and tea options! The cafe is spacious including inviting areas to sit with a group of friends and talk about a book while visiting with friends of the book club, etc. The cafe offers food options that include hot prepared items and not heated options - chips, crackers, and then sandwich options and even soups and salad options. (the fridge is currently under repair so some items are currently limited). The folks are friendly and inviting when entering the cafe and my kids enjoy the kid's sized options too! They do a nice job of quickly preparing food options (the fridge is currently under repair so some items are currently limited) and drink orders and serving selections with a smile! Among other extras at the cafe, the location offers charging station for phones/electronics. They also decorate the walls with photos and images created/taken by local artists and photographers. Some of the items are for sale and advertising for how to reach artists and photographers for reaching out is shared too! Thanks for offering this fantastic and convenient location within the library and in the central part of Fort Smith!

Another review mentions management - that has now changed, with lots of friendly faces behind the counter. Additionally, the library recently completely upgraded their entire wifi network structure, resulting in what I consider to be the fastest free wifi in town. For those who work from home, the library also has study rooms available, with great wifi coverage. In a way, the cafe and library provide the optimal "co-working" space for anyone needing to get out of the house.

Great coffee shop if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable and easy place to work. There is…read moreample seating, good lighting and a few couches available for good measure. If you are looking for a quick fix, the shop does have a drive-up window. The shop does drip, espresso and french press coffee. In my experience of other shops in the area, the french press is unique - it's hard to find any other shop that does it. Upon visiting, I found that the store retails specialty coffee, flavored coffee and open-leaf tea. The presence of the tea adds an additional item that helps it stand out in a town where most of the other coffee shops feel like they are a copycat of big chains. I have also noticed that the owner does a good job of getting to know and remember the people who are frequent visitors. It's nice to be greeted with a smile and attentive service. As you are evaluating a place to enjoy good coffee, I highly suggest Moka Joe's as a locally-owned independent coffee shop that is working hard to provide a great location in Fort Smith.
