We were told that the taxi would be 5 minutes and to wait outside, which we did in freezing temperatures. In spite of three further phone calls it took a total of more than 35 minutes to arrive. We are both in our 70's and vulnerable to the extreme cold (in fact it is now snowing (morning after Saturday 23rd November) The taxi driver told us that he was dispatched from a call centre in India!! Shame on you BLUELINE. I am a Harrogate resident and have been a loyal customer for over 15 years, but will now be changing my allegiance to another Harrogate Taxi Company. Shame on you again Blueline - You need to be truthful to customers and give them true pick up times to save them almost freezing to death. Take my advice - don't use BLUELINE TAXIS because they are unreliable and give unrealistic pick up times!!!! BEWARE.

He opens the doors for a start and that doesn't happen much these days. He's an independent driver with a customer service background and it shows. He even does your shopping for you ready for your return from Holiday and doesn't charge for it! He specialises in long distance airport runs but will do short stuff as well.

No exaduration, I'd say about 60% of the busses are on time, the other 40% are either very late or…read moredon't turn up. Busses dont have card machines​ so you can only pay contactless or cash, but make sure you have less than a tenner otherwise they won't have change and you won't be let on. The vast majority of the usb charging ports are broken and they have little to no cleaning services so the bus is usually littered with bottles and crisp packets. Before I got my licence I used this bus every day for work for 3 years and I can honestly suggest you use any other form of transport than the 36 unless you want to be waiting over an hour to get on a crammed bus.
