The driver was really helpful and put my buggy in the boots for me while I put the baby seat into the taxi. Drivers also now have a call back facility that rings your phone when they are outside rather than beeping the horn and discturbing the whole street / place which is a really nice touch. This also saves you waiting outside late at night if you're on your own in town as you know your taxi is waiting outside when you get the call back.

I used to get a taxi 6 or 7 times a week with these guys but now it is only once or twice. The drivers are really friendly and know me by name and always talk to me and have a chat with my mum as well if she is with me. The girls on the phones are great too and I only have o ring them up and they recognise my voice and ask if I am going home or if I am at home and then hey presto two minutes later they are there already.

The price they quoted me to get home from the city was a pound more than I usually payed but I didn't argue. The car was extremely clean, had comfy leather seats and the taxi driver was very friendly so I wasn't going to kick up a fuss. Some drivers in Leeds speed way over the limit and you feel your life is in their hands at times. However in this car I felt very safe! The car dropped me off at home and I was pleassed with the service. Half an hour later I went to get my wallet and it wasn't there. Please understand not only did it have £20 in, all my cards, my i.d, my credit cards..EVERYYTHING...but it is genuine Burberry and worth more than it's contents. I was not happy!!! I turned my house upside down in a rage, realized it was in the taxi,then rang Inner City. They are obviously a very honest company as they said they had it and said they would drop it off for me. I was so over the moon I cannot explain. Inner City are a trust worthy company offering a safe journey home. It may cost a couple of quid more but it is worth it for the piece of mind that you are in good hands.

They are based in Woodhouse so are very handy if you live in this area but operate all over the city. Last time I wanted to get to the station with god-speed the driver asked me how much I usually pay and charged me that rate - a fair deal for us both in my opinion. I wasn't ripped off, as you can be with some taxis in Leeds, and he got a fiver for what was essentially a 10 minute wizz to the station. And he avoided the traffic by taking the sneaky back roads into town through Little London!

Whilst the staff are very helpful they make wild suggestions (for example we wanted to go to Sorrento and out of nowhere the agent suggested we try Kefalonia, even though we had specified we did not want to go to Greece). Their website is also terrible and almost totally impossible to manouvre, which is a big shame as it would have been nice to pop into the shop with a list of deals to see what they looked like. I can't say I would really recommend this place though the staff were nice they weren't very responsive.
