There is a pool and hot tub with bathrooms/showers, pool tables, dog park (not 100% fenced in), laundry room, and People drive their golf carts around. Our neighbors we met here were winter Texans from Iowa and we loved them. Gated, you have to have a code to get in. Although I didn't like the area, police did patrol inside every so often which made me feel good. We absolutely loved it here

The activity director goes above and beyond trying to have as many activities as possible for everyone. Yes, for active residents there is pickleball, horseshoes etc, there are also many many activities for mobility challenged individuals as well, card games galore, crafts, glass adventures, rock shop etc. This is the only park I know of that has activities every single night in the summers so permanent residents can stay busy year round should they choose to. Agreed there are water issues and management changes but that's going to happen anywhere. Overall, could not be more pleased to call Bentsen Grove my home.

As soon as I walked through the office door I was sold. The receptionist Sandra was welcoming and friendly. She honored the price without me having to book it online and she personally showed us a room. The room was clean and roomy. I could tell it was serviced daily. We stayed 2 days and got the chance to see the place cleaned. The house keeper Ada did an amazing job. She didn't skip a corner and left our room sparkling. Above all we felt welcomed and safe here....if ever I. McAllen TX I highly recommend staying here.

BUT it was a homey place to stay, the pool and spa were immaculate and kept that way and the funky tiki bar added character. Beautiful landscaping in the small pool/tiki bar area but less lush elsewhere in the park. Very big lots compared to the parking lot style RV parks nearby and included picnic tables and patio area in addition to parking for your vehicle and RV. Clubhouse is the only wi-fi zone, and the wi-fi there is just so-so. On-site manager went WAY out of his way to accommodate us - turned on the spa when we were the only users, found us a carport the evening a hail storm was predicted. We paid a third of what we paid at a nearby RV park last year.

The park is exceptionally quiet, green and lush, and very relaxing. Finding our spot was completely stress-free. A huge shoutout to the manager, who was absolutely lovely, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating from the moment we arrived. This park is peaceful, safe, and friendly, and we would definitely stay here again.

The park is 3…read moremiles from town and convenient to lots of shopping but in a secluded area with nice homes close by and is very safe. Posada del sol is filled with lots of beautiful tropical plants and trees. It has a pond with turtles and king fisher birds that hang out there. We have rec hall that has lots of Activities and entertainment during the winter season and there is also an Olympic size pool. The park also has the nicest and friendliest people in the valley and some of the prettiest sunsets I've ever seen. Its only 40 miles from the beach at South Padre Island. If your looking for a different kind of park try Posada del sol.
