Andrew has made it so that I can carry out daily routines and many sports activities with minimal or no pain. He told me clearly I do have the time since I booked the appointment..... The attitude was all very unnecessary. I remained very neutral throughout the whole conversation but he continued to make me feel bad about taking up his time. He told me I was taking an appointment that could be for someone else. He made me feel like I am wasting his time and then left me at the front desk. This is all after me driving an hour from work to get to this appointment. I came here to relax and fix my back issues after a busy day of work, but what I got was disappointment and an unnecessary lecture.

Newmarket Naturopath was the first on the search results page, and after looking at a few other contenders - I decided Dr. Alexandra Lee and her practice were the winners and promptly booked her earliest available Saturday appointment. On appointment day, Dr. Lee greeted us upon entering with a warm smile and a clipboard with the intake form on it. She offered us water, tea and coffee while my boyfriend completed the form and was incredibly gracious. Once we were ready to go, I asked her whether I'd be permitted to enter the office too to receive some insight on what I can do on my end to help the success of my partner's health goals. Without missing a beat, she replied: "Absolutely!" I thought that would be the last of our interaction; this was my partner's appointment after all - but no. Throughout the entirety of the appointment, Dr. Lee made the recommendations and suggested exercises an inclusive experience, often extending the option to me to attempt the demonstrated exercises with my boyfriend. Parking was an issue here, especially since it was small and most businesses reserved parking spots for their own customers. I honestly just parked in a random spot at the back that looked like a parking space but wasn't entirely sure. My biggest concern was getting a ticket or getting towed, but thankfully that didn't happen. I walked around the whole plaza since I wasn't sure where to access the unit from the back because there were no unit numbers, and then I realized the unit was for Sava Beauty Lounge. I asked one of the staff where Hands of Care was located and she showed me to the stairs to go downstairs. Just staring down from the top of the stairs, I felt welcomed and cozy since the lights were relaxing to look at as you walk downstairs. Ladan welcomed me at the front desk and asked for my voucher number. Unfortunately, my data was out for the month so I asked her if they had wifi to access the Groupon voucher and she was kind enough to provide me with it. She then asked me to fill out the information and consent forms. The space was well decorated that even if it's a rehabilitation centre, it has a spa feel to it as well. Ladan led me to the room and explained the next steps, which included changing, and once I was ready, she came back into the room where she explained the services. She was very kind and welcoming, plus she mentioned that the duration of the massage was for me to relax and she will limit her talking unless if I speak to her...which is great since I don't like talking during massages. The service was amazing. I told her most of my stiffness and pain is in my neck/upper back area and she focused on that, but was still able to get a full body massage in.
