I just discovered Kitchen Nails and it is one of now one my favorites for many reasons. First the ambience is so warm and whimsical. The kitchen themed decor goes a long way to make the experience of getting your nails done comforting versus a chore. Secondly, Natalia was very conscientious about her work. She would frequently ask for my feedback to confirm if what she was doing met my approval. Considering that I don't live in Mexico and might not be a return customer soon, she treated me like I was her number one customer. Lastly, Natalia was a delightful person to talk with. Despite our differences in language (her English is much better than my Spanish) and age (my daughter is older than her and race we had the most pleasant conversation. What made this so significant is, on my way to get my nails done, a thief snatched my favorite necklace off my neck and sped away on a waiting motorcycle. Needless to say I was sad, scared and traumatized and almost canceled my appointment. But Natalia and the service she provided was just the balm that my spirt needed.

This review is based on the receptionist as the massage was a gift for someone else. I wanted to…read moregive someone a massage as a gift but I am in Los Angeles and often it can be quite complicated to purchase gift cards or services as gifts when one is not present. I reached out using the "chat" feature on their website and the person who answered who had a sense of urgency without being overwhelming, I explained my intent of gifting a gift certificate, I was able to purchase the certificate for a one hour massage at $800 pesos, the prices of massages do change as they are some sales so I dont know how that will be handled, currently I am so excited to have found this place and will update my review once we have the services. Awesome receptionist!

It must be noted that Green Spa changed locations during the Pandemic (use my pictures for reference). Booking an appointment was easy, and even though it was Valentine's day weekend, we were able to lock in an appointment for two. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed the wonderful hospitality from staff. Everyone was welcoming and had a smile on their face. We filled out a questionaire to help the masseuse provide specific, qualitative service. One our room was ready we were escorted to our room where we were given clear instructions on what our options were and allowed us plenty of time and privacy to prepare. The changing room was warm and had storage space for all our personal belongings. Alas, we were ready and as soon as I rang the bell, the best massage session began. They used a bell plate to commence and end the session which I found very soothing. The masseuse was very understanding and checked in on me throughout the massage. They use a pressure intensity rating system from 1-10 and I thought that was very helpful. For once, I was able to clearly communicate how deep I wanted the pressure. The entire experience from beginning to end was incredible. I will definitely continue visiting Green Spa when visiting Guadalajara. I highly recommend this place to both tourists and locals as you will not be disappointed. Thank you for such a great experience, Green Spa!
