My cousin and I were in town from Los Angeles, and after a super jam-packed itinerary, some R&R was well needed. Green Spa was recommended as a holistic, soothing option to end our trip. It must be noted that Green Spa changed locations during the Pandemic (use my pictures for reference). Booking an appointment was easy, and even though it was Valentine's day weekend, we were able to lock in an appointment for two. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed the wonderful hospitality from staff. Everyone was welcoming and had a smile on their face. We filled out a questionaire to help the masseuse provide specific, qualitative service. One our room was ready we were escorted to our room where we were given clear instructions on what our options were and allowed us plenty of time and privacy to prepare. The changing room was warm and had storage space for all our personal belongings. Alas, we were ready and as soon as I rang the bell, the best massage session began. They used a bell plate to commence and end the session which I found very soothing. The masseuse was very understanding and checked in on me throughout the massage. They use a pressure intensity rating system from 1-10 and I thought that was very helpful. For once, I was able to clearly communicate how deep I wanted the pressure. The entire experience from beginning to end was incredible. I will definitely continue visiting Green Spa when visiting Guadalajara. This review is based on the receptionist as the massage was a gift for someone else. I wanted to give someone a massage as a gift but I am in Los Angeles and often it can be quite complicated to purchase gift cards or services as gifts when one is not present. I reached out using the "chat" feature on their website and the person who answered who had a sense of urgency without being overwhelming, I explained my intent of gifting a gift certificate, I was able to purchase the certificate for a one hour massage at $800 pesos, the prices of massages do change as they are some sales so I dont know how that will be handled, currently I am so excited to have found this place and will update my review once we have the services. I found Green Spa on Yelp. Upon arrival, I was surprised to the see that the spa was large, professional and well appointed. I requested a 90 minute deep tissue massage and got Saulo. This was one the BEST massages I've had in my entire life. The fragrances, hot towels, his technique, all superb. I can't wait to come back! read more

Called in just a few hours early and the had an appointment available. We called ahead saying we would be 30min late and the receptionist was very friendly about it. Had a couples Swedish massage in a private "cabin" that includes onetime use sandles, undergarments and bathrobe. The massage was very relaxing and the staff was extra careful to not disturb. We topped off with a pedicure spa and manicure. The pedicure was very done very well put manicure could have been better. read more

I booked a decontracting massage and foot acupressure massage here after finding the spa when searching for acupuncture and magnet therapy in guadalajara. I was so happy to relax in the garden with the hammock before and after treatment. My session was incredible. In terms of a deep, full body, relaxing with strong pressure massage I could not have found a better spot. My therapist was inedible, I need to ask her name again, to best recommend her. The atmosphere is super calming and as a bonus there were some who spoke English, which is easier for me, but my therapist and i both practiced a little English and a little Spanish which was so sweet. She had a great manner about her and her skills were exceptional. So happy, excited to go back. read more
