On the morning of the appointment, the owner, Otis, texted to say they were experiencing vehicle issues and asked to reschedule. We agreed to move it to Wednesday, 03/18/26. On Monday, 03/16/26, I tried to confirm the appointment but couldn't get through. I left a voicemail and sent a text, then made several additional attempts to follow up, but received no response. Unfortunately, they did not show up on Wednesday morning. The lack of communication and missed appointment felt unprofessional. While I can't speak to the quality of their work, the unreliability and poor communication initially led me to decide not to move forward. Update: Otis contacted me within an hour of my review going live. It turns out my calls were mistakenly flagged as spam on his phone, so he didn't receive my messages or voicemail. I appreciate the prompt follow-up and have decided to give them another chance. He also mentioned that Yelp messages are also a very good way to get a hold of. Alex came by this morning to give me an estimate on a new tank; while here he turned the knob from the vacation setting to hot -- as I had done countless times -- and to my surprise the tank turned on. Apparently after emptying the septic tank, it dislodged some sort of fabric or carpet materials in the pipes causing the clog. (Why on earth someone would flush fabric or carpet is beyond me.) Another hour or so snaking the pipes almost all the way to the septic system, we were clog free. Bill couldn't be nicer and we will DEFINITELY call him again should the need arise.
