Traveled through Paris and want to stay nearby the Eiffel Tower to take pictures first in the…read moremorning. Hotel Passy Eiffel on Passy de Rue was a good choice in walkability and for comfort. The single room is quite small but served it's purpose for a short stay. The elevator is very small but does it's work to get you to your floor and the stairs are easily accessible. I loved the windows in my room for air circulation. The closet was just the right size for my carryon luggage and has a safe deposit box that you enter a code each time. I didn't try their breakfast for a cost because there are local Boulangerie and bakeries nearby. Staff was friendly and spoke English but be courteous to greet and ask in French first. I appreciated that they arranged a taxi to return to the airport. Overall a lovely stay.

They have an "honesty bar" which was stocked with juice, water, wine on tap and chips. Local bakeries, restaurants and shops makes this hotel perfect for your stay in Paris. First impression was pretty cool looked good for the boys and was only a 15 min walk to the Eiffel Tower. After checking in we found the second floor Hallway smelled like dirty socks. Room was clean and lots of cubes for storage and the boys loved the bunk beds. We dropped our bags and left for a few hours. Before leaving we turned on the AC as the room was pretty warm. After returning, the room was still warm and smelled like the hallway, similar to a junior high locker room. We ended up propping open the hallway door and leaving the window open it helped a little. This helped but privacy was no good. Once everyone showered, we closed the door and tried the AC again. The room was so warm everyone was had a hard time sleeping. AC was verified as working, but flow was really low. I know AC is not common but usually we can open a window fully to get some flow. These windows only open a few inches. We were baking every night. It was kinda rough and with the smell in the hallway, I think most rooms were experiencing the same issues. Some rooms have refrigerators some do not. If you take meds that need to be chilled ask before booking. The restaurant/buffet on site is vegetarian and our boys were not having that. Good news is there is a grocery store out the back of the hotel a block or two. Laundry on site is a huge plus. There is one washer and one dryer so get there early in the morning or late at night. You will need to get change from the grocery store as the front desk could not make change. As having perviously traveled in and around Europe we brought a ROKU stick as French TV is not kid friendly. Bottom line if your kids are younger this is the hotel for you as there were young kids all over running and screaming and being able to be kids without judgement. Our boys are older and found the hotel kinda "Mid". Each floor has a "baby room" in the baby room there is microwave, tea, kettle and freshwater and sparkling water dispenser huge benefit. There are also extra showers in the Baby room area that are in private rooms.

When asked at the front desk, the person offered a fan (to move what ... hot air around?) We visited their Brussel location next and it was a better venue (though not as great of a location).
