It is located in a large plaza on the second floor so you won't have a hard time finding parking. Cris will greet you, have you sign in, and the best thing is that he makes sure we have our full attention by providing water and breakfast bars which was great since I totally forgot to bring banana and water. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to concentrate. I'm glad Cris is attentive and anticipates his customers' needs. The classroom itself was clean, organized, had wall to wall CPR information, and countless mannequins (infant and adult sizes) against the walls and at each table. The BLS for health workers certification was 2 hours long but don't expect a boring class where you just watch a video for the most part then practice at the end. Oh no! Cris had us watch each 5-10 minute videos of CPR steps and scenarios for infant, child, and adult (and no the videos aren't corny!). After each video, he had us do FULL CYCLES of CPR with AED and abdominal thrusts (for choking victim). I definitely got a workout being in that class and I feel more confident! We were charged $35 for recertification-what a great price! Other places charge $45-55. The test was easy and straightforward. Overall it was a very informative and hands -on class. You can also come in anytime to practice after being certified. Cris is courteous, professional, funny, and attentive. Getting certified here is worth it!

His instructions and teaching method were very clear and concise. To be honest, I learned more than I did compared to my previous BLS classes and for a much more affordable price. I'm definitely renewing my BLS certificate here from now on. Thank you Lifesaver team!

Ever since I found them back in 2023, I have been so fortunate to find such a good group of very passionate, knowledgeable, and funny instructors for all my class needs. Both Mike (my pervious instructor) and Robert (my most recent instructor) are great at teaching and help us with not only knowing the knowledge material, BUT also applying that knowledge material to the real world. I always feel so much better and more capable to handle BLS & ACLS/PALS codes after each class! Now, time for the logistics. Parking is either to the back of the building, or on the streets. Very spacious street parking. Class sizes are usually smaller, with a MAX capacity of 10-12 students, depending on sign-ups. CPR mannequins (both adult/child and newborn infants) are in clean, intact, and great for practicing CPR. The adult/child CPR has LED lights to indicate good compression depth and rates. Class structure has (2) 10-15 minutes breaks, and the testing material at the end with (MegaCodes & official test). MegaCodes are scary, but Robert and Mike both made the environment feel safe to help calm down major nerves. Restrooms are located to the left of the classrooms. Local area has great food! Past the 405 freeway into Mission Hills, there is the Olivo at Mission Hills! Great food options, and quick enough for you to get a bite if you decide to do the PALS/ACLS renewal all on the same day haha! Not to far of a drive. Thank you again to Mike & Robert for the humor, fun, and instilling confidence and knowledge in me during my course! I appreciate you greatly!

Both time I got training for CPR were with Bryan and he's amazing with capturing our attention and making the stressful content seamlessly engaging and entertaining. Each certificate consists of 2 portions. The first period is an online training program that is 3-4hr and needs to be done prior to in-person training, which also requires full attention to answer and pass the online assessment. I recommend trying your best to pass the pre-assessments which allow you to skip the whole content of each modules, and there are 8 modeles for adult and pediatric certificate. The second portion is about 2.5-3hr of in-person practice CPR, which is quite exhausting. I suggest you have a good meal or bring coffee. This portion allows me to practice live situation of how to perform CPR, use AED machine and how to help saving adults and children in different kinds of life threatening situations. I definitely recommend taking your in-person portion with Bryan. He's funny but stern, and he has more than 20 years of experience teaching all sorts of CPR classes. He's a gem!
