I read reviews on here as I was waiting to get sat down in the chair so I was pretty skeptical. I asked for the natural pedicure ($35) and received what I asked for. The place was pretty empty, as in, just me. Another nail tech did my gel manicure ($30). (Didn't catch her name unfortuneShe was very nice! I'm not a huge fan of when people constantly dig and try to find stuff to talk about so we didn't talk much and i was 100000% ok with that. (I know it's different for everyone) Overall, it turned out really good. They even gave me a guarantee that they'd fix my gel up to 4 days if it chips. I'm definitely going to come here again in a few weeks to get a new color. I don't think people should let reviews from months ago affect a business now! Give em a chance.

Called 1 1/2 hour prior to closing and they had an opening for gel manicure and pedicure along with a kids pedicure. They really took their time with both of our pedicure's and I unfortunately have dry feet and they were nice and gave extra care and attention to the heels and toes and even gave me items to use at home to make sure my feet stay top notch. They did do my hands and feet in the massage chair which was very pleasant and made sure I was pleased with the service throughout. I would 100% return as I loved the attention to detail and very friendly staff.

I respectfully requested a refund, less the costs of the wefts, which she refused. I subsequently asked for a refund of the botched install only, which she also refused, nor will she give me an itemized receipt for the charges incurred. The owner, Brianna, has offered no help. Do yourself a favor- if you want professional, well installed extensions, avoid Joan and the Rose Room at all costs.

They believe that the customer should come first, and they make you feel right at home. When I first arrived at the salon they asked me how they could help me, and I responded that I would like an acrylic fill, and they said to come back in an hour and they could help me then. I really appreciate when nail salons let me know straight up how long it will be, because at other salons I have had the issue of waiting around when they said it will be a few minutes, and really it takes about 45 minutes until they can see me. But that is not the case here! I got back an hour later, and Crystal gladly welcomed me back and very friendly explained the prices and what services they could offer. An acrylic fill with gel polish is $30, and with normal polish it is $20. I love how my nails turned out! While talking with Crystal, I found out that the salon also does eyelash extensions, the initial application is $100, and every fill is $50. I really want to come back here and have the service done! Everyone in the salon seems to pay very close attention to detail and it is not without notice from their customers. They also have a loyalty program, so make sure to sign up when you pay! I decided to come try this place out because every other place in Mankato that does nails is subpar, in my experience, and I saw that the other yelp reviews of serenity nails were absolutely amazing. When I tried to contact to get issue rectified I was ignored both on messages and phone calls were hung up on.
