But considering that the fine costs way more, I think their pricing is fair for peace of mind since a court appearance was required and we lived 200+ miles away. All communication was through email or phone and they provided lots of updates when they showed up to court. Though we didn't get the results we wanted, they still were able to give the best possible outcome without having anything show up on the record. That was the ultimate goal anyway. Only reason why we didn't give a 5 star was because we thought communication through email could be a little better. Every time we sent an email, we would get little to no response unless we called to follow up. I hired…read moreattorney Robert Birchfield (AKA 'Bob' at The Ticket Warrior) in January to handle a citation, but I was extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and communication. I repeatedly asked for updates over several months with the understanding that my court date would be extended at the beginning of April. With zero updates received, I called the courthouse at 8:00 AM on the day of my deadline (today April 7th), only to find out that nothing had been filed on my behalf. I had to handle my own extension to avoid a failure to appear/warrant. Only after I contacted Bob this morning he attempted a last-minute email to the court at 8:31 AM. He claimed he had already made an arrangement, but when I called the court back, they confirmed he had just sent the email and it was still pending. This caused me unnecessary stress and forced me to do the work I specifically hired him for. While he did refund my money after I advised him of California Rule of Professional Conduct 1.4 (Duty to keep client informed), I would not recommend this firm if you are looking for peace of mind or proactive representation.
