The business owner said to reach out to customer experience and someone will contact you! Well that was almost two weeks ago. I'm certain that it was either the Warren location or the Farmington location. Either way neither one is willing to take responsibility. But they were here promptly to over charge me. On top of that they took my money and damaged my house. I will never use your services again. My sister was going to call you to remove some items from her house. I told her don't you dare give them one cent of your money!!!! I explained to her why... I invited her to my house for dinner and showed her the damage to my property that 800 junk caused. And how I can't get one single person to call me back. Shame on you for taking advantage of a senior citizen!! What if someone treated your mother like I'm being treated. Just look how your company left my house. Shame on you!! read more

call this morning for a 11 to 1 scheduled pick up Minimum pick up is $158 over the phone but then it becomes $1000 when the guys show up. The tactic is to call their manager, who then wants to argue on the phone with you. Sadly, I've used these guys before and didn't have a problem but today especially Mother's Day weekend when they were running a special ad to calm you. . They were out to scam you. Huge waste of time. Starting with their corny greeting by the owner. Don't waste your time call HUNKS! read more

Trey and Frank did an awesome job in this heat. They were kind and courteous. 5- stars. Paul read more

Had a simple 50 gallon scrap water heater needing removal. They offered $148. This water heater was already sitting on the driveway. Totally ridiculous pricing which equaled absolute gouging. Will not recommend them in the future at all. Scrappers ended up taking it from the curb for nothing. read more

Great customer service. Price was appropriate according to service provided. Process from initial contact to obtain cost of service(s), to job completion was amazing and completely painless. I was able to score a same day pick up:)Bryan and Mike were amazing. I never know what to expect when folks come to the home. Are the staff going to be kind and courteous? Will they be respectful to me and the home/premise? I have to say I had a great team. Bryan and Mike, we're all of the above plus. It was a pleasure having them in my home. They were kind and professional. You got a great team in these two young gentleman. Thank you. I would have them put again. You can request your crew! Let them know you would like Bryan and Mike out for your job! read more

My mom needed to exchange beds due to a recent illness. The old bed needed to be replaced with a hospital bed, so the pickup and delivery needed to take place within 30 minutes of one another. The 800 Junk customer service team was friendly, cordial and responsive. When I asked for an estimate of the costs, I was told it was variable and depended on the size of the pickup. I asked for an estimate based on the size of the bed and told them it was a King size bed to give myself some cushion. I was given an estimate of $99. 00. The pickup team was 30 minutes late, resulting in the hospital bed team having to wait. The team arrived and asked if I was familiar with the pricing policy, I said yes and was told the estimate was $99. They told me that the actual price was $328 although the bed was smaller than the size previously given. They said that the rep probably quoted based on the mattress alone and didn't account for the frame and headband of the queen size bed. Given the situation and my mom's immediate need, I had to pay the final estimate. I felt that this was a to classic bait and switch and wouldn't recommend this service based on the pricing model. The fact that they are a referral partner of the Salvation Army implies some trust, so extra deceiving. read more

first off the guys were supposed to show up between 12-2 . they showed up. at 3:45. I did not have much for them to move. 2 standard mattresses with box springs - 2 chairs , 3 small nightstands a coffee table glass top. and a wooden table top. 2 headboards .They wanted over 650.00 and that was with a discount of 10% because they were. late.. I said no way !!! 200.00 for all of it I said. Nope they only took the mattresses and box springs from standard sz beds.and the glass table top . WHAT A RIP OFF ! Never ever again. I ended up taking the nightstands to the good will and the rest of the stuff. I gave them 200.00 and that was all they took TERRIBLE DO NOT USE USE THIS COMPANY read more

This review is from Detroit Michigan! I DO NOT LIVE IN SAN FRANCISCO CALIFORNIA!!!!!! Whoever is reading this review, please take heed and beware! This company showed up on a Saturday to remove junk from my basement. One of the movers was very obese ( over 300 lbs.) so I was a little leery about how much he could do.... This was in no way attacking the gentleman, but I was concerned about his physical capabilities. To make a long story short these 2 me came in and made a big deal about what needed to be removed from my basement.... Suggested that I get a different quote from another company! It ended with them taking some of the junk not all of it. I had to "Barter" with them and tell them how to pack the truck to get the most of the space that I was paying them for. It was ridiculous, to say the least. I called the company after they left and told of my experience. I was told that someone was going to contact me by Monday. I got a generic email sent to me and have yet to hear from someone from this stifling company. I am not all about slamming anyone but I was willing to pay the cost for a full truckload and these sorry-ass workers didn't want to do the job! The thing that I love about my money is that it will spend anywhere. I would pay Lamont from "Sanford and Son" before I use this company again. Again, whoever is reading this do yourself a favor and definitely shop around! Michelle K. read more

Terrible service very unprofessional company was assigned a specific room to throw out bags which they still proceeded to leave the bags and they were in the wrong room and threw my whole wardrobe away and now I'm without clothes so that's $10,000 worth of clothes down the drain and the general manager isn't trying to replace any of my clothes or give me money to reimburse that he refunded at the job that they did and I was it I haven't got any money for all my clothes that have been thrown in a compactor that I can't replace read more

The service man was very polite and introduced himself as Ed He came in and quoted me a price and that is what I paid. I thought that since the guys took the sectional couch apart that they might have me pay more but they did not. In the future, if I need items removed from my place I will be calling 1-800-GOT-JUNK. read more

Buyer beware! Got Junk does not have a formal process for paying for things they damage. After the operations manager backed his truck up into the house and broke the siding, I spent three months doing what they asked me to do, calling customer service and in the end, was told I was not telling them the truth, that is looks like I made up the invoice and they would only pay for the amount they "deemed" appropriate. This was a very upsetting experience over a few mattresses. read more

Had a lot of junk. They provided fast service at a fair price. Second time I used them, no complaints.

The crew works incredibly fast, but with attention to detail. They found old photos hidden in a book that we were not aware of. Very respectful of delicate situations and feelings. I highly recommend Tim and his staff, they were wonderful! read more
