A couple years ago, Darin came out and gave us an estimate for the same work. He measured the moisture content in the sub-flooring and beams in the crawlspace and determined that we needed to cover/seal the bare ground in the crawlspace in order to lower the moisture content in the wood. He did not charge us for that consultation. We installed the vapor barrier in the crawlspace and had him come out again and complete the job. We felt totally comfortable leaving him keys to the house while we went to the mountains for a week. He communicated with us frequently via text/pictures and Facetime. The transformation of the floors is simply amazing. The natural color finish brought out all the beautiful variations in the old one and a half inch wide pine flooring. Couldn't be more pleased.

Remodeled Master Bathroom and found Blake to be honest, prompt, and easy to work with. I had…read morecalled previous customers and based my decision to go with LKN on their recommendations. Quality of work was excellent and we have decided to have our kitchen remodeled with them.

Unfortunately we made a huge mistake in hiring LKN Cabinets based on ratings from this website…read more(which I would recommend all readers verify through a third party). To sum up the experience I was constantly lied to by the contractor (Blake Fox) regarding everything from his expertise (supposedly bathrooms and his partner is the kitchen expert) to work that was and was not completed correctly as part of the job. Over the past two years I have since found additional issues from material that was supposed to be removed from a crawl space to a plumbing leak that was supposed to be repaired during the remodel by LKN that was clearly disregarded during the rehab process. This issue was actually brought up during construction by one of their "3rd party contractors" when I asked why the water running to my new sinks were shut off. I called Blake regarding the issue noting his plumber told me there was a leak and he informed me that the plumber was incorrect and referring to another property and he turned the water lines back on without checking the leak he supposedly fixed in the crawl space. During my own inspection of the crawl space it appears that the leak they supposedly repaired still exists and has been leaking for the past two years. There is a laundry list of mishaps that took place throughout the process (listed below) where it became very clear that we were not dealing with professionals nor a company that was actually concerned with customer satisfaction. -Cabinet's that weren't installed correctly and fell apart -Incorrect cabinet doors ordered that we had to wait over six months post project completion to be delivered only for Blake to show up with the incorrect doors and have to re-order. To make matters worse, Blake claimed that he incorrectly charged us for the wrong size doors and we had to pay out additional funds. -Main faucet connection coming apart which required one of his "contractors" to come back out and repair. -Correctly dismantling and removing (all of which was paid for) duct-work related to a ventilation system they removed as part of the job which Blake lied to me about multiple times in regard to its removal. I ended up having to go down into my crawl space to remove myself and pay for disposal. A couple takeaways from working with LKN. Blake show up and introduced himself as the "bathroom" guy but could provide a quote and his partner was the "kitchen" guy who we would be working with throughout the project which never actually happened. LKN did not appear to have its own crews but actually was just hiring local companies we could've called ourselves. This became an issue as I felt that I ended up becoming the GC and acted as an intermediary between the "contractors" and Blake when something went wrong. The overall experience was far below average and after working with competent GC's while rehabbing our home over the past two years really highlighted the poor choice we made in rushing into a contract with LKN. I am more than happy to personally share my experience with anyone contemplating (respond to this review) using LKN to include allowing them to physically inspect the finished product in our home.

We just completed an exterior waterproofing project with Sealtech, and they did an outstanding job…read more We couldn't be happier with Dani and his crew. Our issue involved a basement leak that required exterior waterproofing along the foundation wall, and it was one of the most challenging projects I've ever seen. Due to the location of the leak, much of the work had to be done by hand. The team carefully excavated along the side of our house and managed to protect and work around our HVAC units without requiring them to be removed and reinstalled. This was important to us because it would have added a lot of cost and we would have been without heat in the house for days. They installed a drain line at the base of the foundation, backfilled with gravel, applied a waterproof membrane and dimple board, and ran underground drain lines to the backyard that also tied into our gutter system. They were extremely careful while trenching in the backyard, finding existing cable lines, irrigation lines, and other utilities without damaging anything. When the job was complete, they thoroughly cleaned the area and made sure we were completely satisfied with the results. Communication with Dani (the owner) was excellent throughout the entire process. Unlike another company we considered, he never tried to upsell us or recommend unnecessary work. Their price was very fair and there were no surprises with the final bill. We truly appreciate their professionalism and would absolutely call them first for any future waterproofing needs. Highly recommended!

I recently received a notice that a property I have in North Carolina had a…read more sinkhole that could potentially be a safety hazard and needed immediate repair. However, I live in California and had to rely on a company in another state! This of course caused me anxiety to try and handle dealing with a company so far away. But Mr. Dani Andino of Sealtech put my mind at ease and stood by what he said. After reviewing the project and giving me an estimate, he honored the original quote even though the hole had expanded due to recent rains. He and his crew members had to put in extra materials to complete the project, but I did not have to pay any more than his original quote. They did the work in an efficient and timely manner and each and every interaction with Mr. Andino was prompt, kind, and courteous. As a senior citizen, I especially appreciate his honesty and excellent service. If you are in need of any of the services that Sealtech Waterproofing provides, I highly recommend them for your project. carolina

Bill was the only one who noticed that 2 of the rooms had different wood from the rest of the house. We were wondering why the floors in those rooms looks so much less damaged from the other floors. Once Bill pointed out where the new and old wood met we could easily see the difference. Bill's recommendation of not doing those two rooms saved us a lot of money. One of the other companies who gave us a quote had noticed that one of the rooms had a different floor, but not the 2nd room. They also said they didn't recommend only doing the old floor because the sanding would be hard to stop at the board change in the floor without going over. Not only was Bill's team able to sand up to the board and not go over, he was also able to match the stain color almost perfectly so the difference between the two floors doesn't stand out. To my further amazement, Bill's team was able to carefully remove all our baseboards and reuse them after the floor had been sanded and restained. They were so careful at removing the old nails that you can't tell! Even though cutting and installing new baseboards had been part of the original invoice, since they were able to just reuse the old molding, Bill removed another almost $300 from our bill! Bill's team was very friendly, knowledgeable and showed up on time every morning. Each day they made sure to turn off all our lights, close the doors and clean up any messes and tools. They also took a lot of care in sealing off our pantry, kitchen cabinets and covering our furniture in plastic so the dust cleanup was minimal. I would highly recommend LeBeau's Hardwood Floors to anyone who wants their floors to look like new again.
