I just bought a secondhand bike today upon a recommendation from a friend at my university. So far so good! Robert, the owner, is incredibly kind. He not only threw in some freebies to close the sale, but he even drove me to the ATM so that I could pay in cash (the dutch don't accept credit cards, only debit or cash). WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Never go here. The owner is a criminal who runs a business using money from students who get ripped off. Me and some of my friends are studying abroad at Erasmus this semester, and we heard this place has cheap secondhand bikes. Little did we know, all of their bikes are broken and they don't tell you about it. I bought a bike for 80 euros and it broke within 10 minutes of buying it. I took it in and they refused to fix it, repeatedly saying "it's a secondhand bike". DUH, THATS WHY I BOUGHT IT. They also refused to give me a refund. Anyways, after repeatedly causing scenes at their store because they are crooks, I finally demanded that it get fixed for free and they complied. When I went to pick it up a week after it was supposed to have been fixed, the owner still tried to charge me 20 euros, even though he sold the bike to me like that. He knows nothing about bikes, but he knows how to sell things. Those words came from one of his repairmen, actually. What a scumbag. My advice to you: pay the 20 euros extra and go to a more trusted bike store, or buy a bike off of Commodity Market. Don't even go into this place, because you will end up in the same mess that my friends and I ended up in. read more

010 Bikes - DON'T GO IN HERE!!! - Bikes Near Me - Rotterdam, ZH

I did not have much experience with bikes but a friend told me that I should visit this place and they will be able to find a good one for a reasonable price. After reviewing their stock, I found one I liked for 80 EURs. I've found it to be a bit expensive as the brakes were not working but I really needed a bike quickly and the guy convinced me that they will buy back the bike after the semester if I bring it back. For this reason, I have bought the bike and kept the invoice so I can resell them the bike for a discounted price. During the second use of the bike, I got a flat tire. I brought it to a mechanic who told me that this bike is a piece of trash and that the tube was much bigger than the wheel (it was a miracle that it fit in) and that is why I immediately had a flat tire. I was absolutely shocked. Also, the brakes were completely useless so I had to buy a new bike! When I went back to 010 bikes to return my bike and get a refund, they denied their promise to buy back my bike and offered me that I can leave it there for free. I was really angry to be cheated like that! Especially, that he was laughing that this bike is worthless and that he would not pay a penny for it. read more

Very bad service, the employees rather treat costumers with bad manners. I had a problem with my wheel and the guy just told me that it was broken and reparation would be 40€, without even explaining me which was the problem in the first moment. They lasted more than 2 days (with the inconvenience that this implies for being without a bike), and after telling me that they would call me whenever it was ready, I received no call. I had to go there myself to check if it was ready, and it seemed to be ready for a long time already...thanks for telling me! They are quite rude with costumers, not a good place to go. read more
