I used to frequent the Thai Basil in Livonia and decided to give this one a try. Very disappointed. I asked many questions about my order, making sure everything was vegetarian. Then the waitress brings me a complimentary soup of the day. I said I don't think that's vegetarian and she insisted it was, that it only had egg. I asked another staff member who then checked with the kitchen, and yep it has chicken. This is very frustrating as a customer. I expect staff should know what's in the food. This would have made me very sick. I had pad thai, it was ok, it wasn't as good as what I used to get in Livonia. Didn't care for the spring roll either. Another small but annoying thing, I was seated near the "bar" where it looks like all the staff hang their coats. Someone's cell phone was dinging every few minutes. read more
