BAIT and SWITCH!! STAY AWAY for any phone/electronics repairs!! Quoted me 130 for repairing an iPad - cracked screen and slightly bent cover. Claimed the LCD underneath needed to be replaced - gave them the benefit of the doubt - also, it was May 30th, 2021 and all other repair shops were closed due to stay-at-home Toronto order. Next day they claimed the repair (done already) costed them more therefore I would have to pay 170 - which I did. As they handed me the iPad, I noticed a crack in the supposedly new replacement screen. It took another day to fix that. Third day, when I came to get my iPad, one of the volume buttons was not working anymore. I was told that the cover which I just paid to be fixed now needed to be changed for another 100 something dollars. Total repair would've amounted for more than the value of the iPad, so I said enough. I ended up with 170 out of pocket and a not functional iPad. This is nothing short of theft! read more
