My husband found Tao Chiropractic via IG and set up his consultation and visits with Dr. Gary Tao. Upon purchasing his treatment plan package, he arranged with Tao to have his treatment plan shared with me. I've dealt with severe back pain for most of my life and am always looking for better solutions/relief. Making the first appointment for consultation was easy. I simply filled out a request online and the appointment was set. Tao Chiropractic is conveniently located in Pasadena on Del Mar between Arroyo and Marengo. I wfh so it's a quick 10-15 mins surface street drive over. Bonus: the business complex has its own parking structure which is super convenient and time saving. The office is one short flight of stairs above the parking structure. No way you can get lost. Christina at the front desk is very nice and helpful. She sends regular text reminders about appointment and is extremely accommodating when I've need to reschedule. A. pleasant, smiling face upon entering any business is a sure sign of a good experience to come. The initial consultation with Dr. Tao is extremely thorough. I appreciated that he seemed focused and interested on learning my pain/injury history. He reviewed posture, work environment, physical activity, range of motion, took x-rays. Once the x-rays were ready, Dr. Tao went over his diagnosis and treatment plan suggestion. This part was easy since I was already set up to share my husband's treatment plan. I have been seeing Dr. Tao for weekly adjustments and I can honestly say it's made a difference with my mobility, pain frequency, and a slight improvement in my sleep. I leave each appointment feeling more loose, a little taller, and refreshed. 10/10! -Free parking with validation from front desk. I love not having to waste time looking for street parking. -Weekly adjustments take less than 15 mins -Treatment plans are flexible and can be shared with family -They are plant parents with a sense of humor. Live, healthy green plants with hilarious name tags are scattered throughout the office. Jake the Snake plant is a personal fave haha.
